I've been wondering for a long time why the only brand I know that does low latency wireless studio headphones is AIAIAI... Especially since we've had low latency wireless audio for mics, instruments, and in ear monitors for a long time. Why tf isn't it super common for studio headphones? Or just headphones in general. Why are the only options basically only wired and bluetooth?!
(awesome setup with the keyboard/ipad dock!) ive been looking for wireless receivers like this. i have bose headphones and dont want them going to waste since im turned off with bluetooth latency, so this might bring them back to life. good find!
actually a good fix for my problem instead of the other vids i watched on YT, thanks!
Great video brother! Bought that wireless setup using your link, will help me be more mobile during live streams.
Very cool solution! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for recommending this product man . I've always Hated having a cord dangling against me . For the short cord I just cut the original headphone wire from the right side to about 3" and cut about 2" from the original plug and soldered them together with heat shrink over each of the 3 wires and a larger heat shrink over that . Quite a pain with the tiny wires . After stripping and before soldering each connection I had to burn each end first with a lighter due to the nylon strands and epoxy coating on the wires . Cleaned with rubbing alcohol before soldering as well . Very low latency and good sound .
It is not low latency. it is 12ms and when using with a wireless jack system it becomes unusable due to latency coming from both wireless systems. 4-5ms can do the job
Can confirm that this works well! after trying a few wireless setups and them having poor audio quality and/or unacceptable latency, im not seeing a perceptible difference in Ableton, or when creating on my keyboard or drumming on my Push 2. For my at home setup I've flattened the EQ on a pair of XM5's that I put in ANC mode (i like to create with minimal external noise), then use ATH-M50's when I want to actually mix/master. Perfect combination for me.
yeap..that is the point...Ive already got 28ms latency onmy DAW using a Fantom 7 as well...but Id like to have a bluetooth outout with lower latency...ASIO4ALL I could not find bluetooth option and on roland interface there is none either...alternative is ASIOFLSTUDIO....you play and two minutes later you are able to hear the notes lol.... Ive been also trying to find some binaural rendering adaptor n no sucess..I gather I was beaten up ...I must wait for the tech to improve and lower costs...
Have you compared latency with the aiaiai headphones? Do they sound different? Less/more latency?
Thanks for the review. Can you charge the transmitter while it's transmitting?
Great video, please can you tell me where i can get a yellow cable like your one? also if I only had the receiver, could I connect my source, in this case my metal detector to the receiver and plug a regular pair of headphones into the receiver to achieve no latency? thanks
thnaks for the video..Ive been strugling to find a low latency gear to use on the main out for Fantom 7...no sucess at all!!
I'm definitely interested in the parts you used to slide the iPad keyboard into the midi controller. Hit me up!
Do they still work while being charged? I want to hook this up with my PC and was hoping that I could just leave the transmitter charging through a usb port in my PC
I have the same Headphones and the same receiver. How did you attach the receiver to the headphones? With same tape or glue? I really love this setup, so pls reply, thx!
Thank you.. u help me 🎉🎉❤❤
When it comes to a second receiver for speakers. Does the receiver work when charging?
hey great video! i am looking for a solution to connect 6 wireless ultra low latency studio headphones to one powered transmitter.. do you know any possible solutions? the lekato system looks good. though can the transmitter work.. while being powered by usb?
How does the latency compare to the aiaiai headphones? I’m definitely looking for less latency than what they offer.
what magnet plate did you use?
What is the yellow cable that you have for headphones ?
nice setup... where did you get the yellow cable?
Yeah wish you would have answered the comment
Bro pls tell me where you got the aux cable for the headphones I look so stupid rn with the audio technica to aux adapter sticking out the bottom with a thick 6 inch aux chord going from that to the receiver strapped to the side
For sure! It’s one of the cables I had laying around that came with this mic ➡️ amzn.to/3vLUyt0 I had to shave some plastic off around the tip to get it to fit just right, and I zip tied it to the headphones. Hope that helps!
@@MusicTechnologist gotcha thanks dude
What cable is that connecting the headphones to the receiver?
Looks like the myvolts candycord pocket operator cable but with black ends instead of white. Not sure how this could possibly fit into the aux port on audio technica athm50x
I just bought an adapter for the m50x so any aux can connect but i would still really like to know where you found that aux cable! Please
Le - GAHT- Oh... like the musical term.
Nah the brand is actually Lekato, but RUclips auto-corrected my video title to say legato. I just now caught this and fixed it in the video title! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
gotta love UHF. Bluetooth is terrible
