Big relief to Mumbaikars! Mumbai’s Mini-Goa Vasai gets a new Vasai-Bhayandar Ro-Ro ferry service

- There has been a significant upgrade in Mumbai’s infrastructure in the recent times and a brand new RO-RO ferry survive is the latest addition. A new Vasai-Bhayandar Ro-Ro ferry service will be running on a regular basis from 21st February between Vasai and Bhayandar that is going to cut down the commute time between the two destinations to 15 minutes. This is the second RoRo service in the MMR. The first one operates on the Ferry Wharf and Mandwa route. The newly-inaugurated service will ply eight times a day. The vessel can carry 100 passengers and 33 four-wheelers in one go. Here’s everything you need to know about the service.

Exactly...useless media..waste of time with music, so many repeated statements from the public...should have pointed out exact locations of the jetty, google maps points...could have been a 2min video!
Its between Bhayandar west jetty and Vasai Fort Jetty (Killabandar).
Now perhaps a sea link bridge will never be built here in future because like Gorai, the people here will also oppose the construction of the bridge so that the ferry business continues.

Small accomplishments make Indians very happy with their government. This should have been done a long time ago.
People needed a bridge to go from Bhayandar to Naigaon Vasai so that cars, bikers and heavy vehicles could reach in less time, but the bridge was not built but the ferry was started. Now you will have to pay money every time in this ferry. And the heavy vehicles will still have to go around the entire Ghodbunder Road to reach Naigaon Vasai.
Jardly a new service starts and there come the credit jeevi, time of election and prachar starts 😂😂😂😂

Bridge was sanctioned in 2007. No work till now.

If a parallel road bridge was constructed adjacent to the railway bridge, many many traveling problems could have been solved along the Mumbai line. See States like Goa & Karnataka how they have built their infrastructures. Even in villages you can see a river overbridge for vehicle.
Why things don't improve in Maharashtra, particularly Mumbai Bhayandar Naigaon road bridge adjacent to railway line. Why politicize on everything.??
