Appreciate Geely Proton to step up the standards set the pace in Malaysia car market. Giving us more value from money spend instead of getting crappy spec like previously
Geely also owns Volvo.. one of the car company that has the best in class semi autonomous driving... I assume they have some sort of technology sharing going in internally.. damn that shit is impressive! Believe me I own a CRV with honda sensing sometimes it's breaks are too jerky and sometimes in corners the adas just gives up on you
@@chiaseed87 I thought it can go fully auto mode in traffic jam. This feature is what makes me so excited about the X50. Is it the same as in Volvo, Honda or other brands that offer similar tech?
@@razinhadi7450 Yup, it is equivalent to Honda Sensing at Civic or Volvo Pilot Assist. Look at the bright side, it still a driver assist features, it will still reduce your driving fatigue during heavy jam
It will, but it may lose connection more easily compared to a clear day. In any case, please slow down when it's raining heavily. In my experience driving cars with this feature in the rain, the ACC can usually detect cars that are further away, earlier than I can. To me it feels safer.
the driver mat saleh, has a really weird accent, not British not even American. makes me a bit uncomfortable lol. not a bad thing just weird. if you close eyes, he sounds like Malay trying to speak with an accent
U people always uplift proton cars but plz go n check their after sales and service togather their car quality after 20k km... Even x70 ckd facing terrible suspension issues don't always work for manufacturer be careful with whom u support.... I think u guys just convincing people to buy proton with your content but end up u using merczz.... 😑
I myself have an X70 CBU at home, and I've personally booked an X50 too. Putting my money where my mouth is. As for the X70, mine has been working like clockwork for almost 2 years now. No issues so far
Although I do agree that proton after sales service sucks, and their CKD built cars need more improvement, the fact that u accused Hafriz to make contents just to make people support Proton while he himself drive a Merc is ridiculous. We all know that he is an X70 owner. U just make ur self sound like a tool.
My friend owns a 2019 Iriz and the after sales service is awesome with onsite service. He filed a complain over an online survey about having too much wind noise at the A pillar and they called. 2 technicians and an engineer then came all the way to Tanjung Malim from Shah Alam to check on the car. Think again
CBU from China of course no problem. We are talking about CKD ones here... The one assembled by Malaysians usually are not on par in terms of quality compared to Tongsan ones. That is why we are worried of the reliability of this model.
I dont quite sure whether you know how it functions. It's called assistance system for a reason which is to ASSIST drivers. It is semi autonomous, not self driving car. A lot of accidents happened because sometimes drivers were too tired on the road they lost focus or they experienced microsleeping. This system will ensure that the car remains on the road and not hitting anything when things like that happen
for the first time ever, I want to owned this PROTON so DESPERATELY!
TBH, this car easily insulting owners of BMW x1 and those in similar range.
Convincing. For sure going to buy this car.
Brilliant specs for the Proton X50 and definitely worth the buy !
Bapak best la x50 ni. Booking fee paid - done.
I drove a volvo x40 at uk.same tech.very good.i use it all the way driving from london to wales.
Can Volvo go full auto during traffic jam?
Same shown, if ur hand not on the stearing wheel alarm with come on the vehicle slowly slow down.just hand on the wheels.be safe
Volvo and Proton are under the same roof (big mother company)
Proton heading the right direction

so would you be able to use this during long gruesome traffic jams?
Yes, but the ACC will pause after 3sec of complete stop. In order to resume, U just need to tap on throttle
@@chiaseed87 wait really?
thats annoying if it happens

Mantap
FIRST !
AI car in Malaysian. And it's PROTON.
Well even painful fact it has the China face yet it's Malaysian.
As united multiracial yet gone Global.
Can it assist in traffic jam?
does it still work in heavy rain?
If this ADAS is same as Volvo Pilot Assist, U still can enable it, but it wont work effectively, and it is dangerous
Thinking the same with the weather in Malaysia....
It will, but it may lose connection more easily compared to a clear day. In any case, please slow down when it's raining heavily.

I don't think a sane mind would rely on this during heavy rain.
Wonder how if someone change lane so suddenly while the car is following. Will it brakes?
Impressive. D guy almost forgot his hands were off d wheel cos he was busy explaining.
Volvo owners won't be happy. Lol! 😂😂😂
Boycott Volvo, boycott all chinese company, especially Proton. Stick to local car company, like DreamEdge.
Won't.....volvo using higher grade (hp) engine in Malaysia's market
@@Seramics Hahahah...
@@Seramics lol funny
wow just wow

Long journey assistant
Gg lar, other carmakers will surely hate proton🤣
Goodbye wallet
damn this proton must be expensive
Flagship variant only..
@@Zim___ well , proton didnt pronounce the x50 official price yet and the leaked price is confirmed not true by proton. 🤣
L2 not a new technology in Malaysia
But its definitely new in this segment 😎
Impressive! I just don't like the big, spaced out "Proton" lettering in the back, it looks like 'HAVAL'...that's a big and ugly logo.
If past Proton cars is any indicators, you can just peal it off 😄
Even C-Class E-Class pun tak ada.. shame to merc n bmw
Impressive ai technology but the engine is not

Australian accent I guess.
Not British, not American. Maybe came from other western country.
