- Hi everyone
This video shows the construction of a new viaduct and some complications with its vertical dimensions, as well as this you will see my new class 37 collecting a fuel delivery from the branch line station after being dropped off by a class 68 in drs compass livery.

Good progress being made Nat. To remove the rapido coupling on a Farish 66 you need to pull the whole bogie out. Once out use a tiny Jewellers screwdriver to remove the plastic frame around the wheels. Be careful as you remove the frame as the front part holds in a tiny spring behind the Rapido coupling. I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like a Class 37. The viaduct looks good where it is, and it was good to see the running session which also showed off your wiring of that section to store the class 68. Stephen
@@Elvenhome I love the class 37 not my favourite loco but it’s up there, I had a lot of fun filming the running session now that the wiring was reworked it gives me much more manoeuvrability. Thanks

Good morning Nat! The 37 looked really good, and seems to run much better than mine when running slowly on DC! I think I'm going to have a similar issue with that viaduct! I'm planning on using the Metcalfe kit but don't think I've got enough height from the top of the foam down to the baseboard, so some surgery will be required!!! All the best, Ian.
Hi Ian, with cutting down the viaduct I tried at first using a saw but I noticed it started to leave a ripped edge on the brickwork. Instead I used a scalpel and very carefully cut along a pencil line (drawn earlier) it gave me a very good finish. Cutting it after it was built made it harder to cut it but I think it gives me a more accurate cut than if I were to have cut each piece individually as you might get slight discrepancies. Sorry for the long reply but thought it would be helpful for if you use the metcalfe kit

@@Nat-AVMR-N-gauge - Thanks for the advice Nat! I haven't looked at the kit in detail yet, but I was thinking about cutting it down before building it! I'll definitely reconsider this! The other option I was looking at was using the kit as a test run, and then building something custom! Cheers, Ian.
