I was there, it was incredible, awesome, magical, I can't find the words to describe what I saw and heard that night. Best concert of my entire life after King Diamond.
Very very please do more songs from that concert, like Prometheus, Dark Art, Anubis basically all of them are amazing, you're gonna love it, you've seen nothing yet ;) You earned a sub just for this video and the Tarja ones, lovely and beautiful couple, greetings from Greece
I have a thing for low vocals too and when I first heard Seth's (Septicflesh vocalist) deep as hell growls several years ago I wask like "omg, I'm in love" :D Btw this show in Mexico was a special, one of a kind thing with the full orchestra on stage, their live shows are usually not like that. Symphonic sound is the essence of their music, Chris, the guitarist with the dreadlocks (brother of the vocalist) has degree in classical music and he writes the symphonic parts of their songs.
Amazing that concert the whole concert was amazing , i hope this year see them live , by the way you really gonna like type o negative because of the deeeeep voice of the vocalist
Another band from Athens that has been around since 89 is Rotting Christ. They have songs in 5 or 6 different languages. For a good intro song, check out fire, god and fear....or athanati este.
I've been looking at quite a few of your reactions in the past months since I enjoy Nightwish, Epica and Ayreon quite a bit but.. unfortunately, you are one among so many reaction channels covering these bands that you get kinda lost in the mass.. But in the last few days, you went for: - Oceans of Slumber, an amazing band that would become so popular if they could get the right exposure. - Draconian, without a doubt one of my top5 band of all time! - Septicflesh, the masters of symphonic death metal! All amazing lesser known acts! And even though these bands will never earn you as many views as the more mainstream ones, I hope you keep going down this path for I think you guys have interesting points of views and feedback on these songs. You have a new subscriber! More Septicflesh? One of my favorite song of 2022 was "Self-Eater"
Maybe septicflesh is not a deep as epica in the symphonic part but their energy is a lot higher, you should watch the full concert. It's a kick in your spine, a brutal experience.
Not as deep? "Christos Antoniou studied composition at the London College of Music under the guidance of Martin Ellerby, head of the composition department. He acquired his Bachelor of Music in 1999 and, one year later, he continued his studies in composition/orchestration and earned his Master's Degree in concert music. Among his tutors was Adam Gorb, head of composition at the Royal Northern College of Music. He has worked with Orchestras from Greece, London, Slovakia and the Filmharmonic Orchestra and Choir of Prague." Epica sound like a cheap synth plugin compared to septicflesh' arrangements, although we can't compare the two bands they are both great in their own genre
Before I found Septicflesh, I thought the deepest vocalist ever was Amorphis' Tomi Koivusaari, who growls amazingly, but this guy blew them all away My rankings for deepest vocals go 1. Septicflesh 2. Amorphis 3. Behemoth 4. Moonspell 5. Opeth I may be forgetting others cause this is just off the top of my head hahah
ENEMY OF TRUTH has an even better orchestration. I recommend It. A brass girl Will love It for sure. Lyrics video better, It has Seth's (vocals) impressive artwork.
Thanks for the reaction i love Septicflesh so much !! I don"t know if you know the band Dir en Grey (japanese band). It's a another style but the singer is a beast. He can litteraly sing every style from opera to low growl... i suggest to you their best song ever : Vinushka Here is the link for the best performance of it : ruclips.net/video/8W0h2yht6IA/видео.html Hope you'll like it, it's quite a journey
Now that you are hellenic metal fans. Another great greek band is ROTTING CHRIST I suggest (oficial video, not live) - Demonon vrosis - In the name of god
I flew all the way from Sweden to be at this show, it was epic
Thanks for listening to SepticFlesh! They are my favorite band and I love to see others discover them!
The whole concert is top notch. You can't go wrong with a single track.
I can never get over how deep the growls are, this is probably the best live concert i´ve seen, ever.

Writes all the music ....scores it all in a oner. There's no "Orchestral parts" it's all scored as one big piece. It's what makes it so unique .
Regards From Poland!

Anubis is my favorite.

Christos Antoniu (the one at the right) is a master inserting the brass in the songs.

If you want a similar sound to these guys, I highly recommend Genus Ordinis Dei. Their songs "Edict" and "Abjuration" are wonderful.
Septicflesh is amazing! Try Fleshgod Apocalypse 👌
