0.44 both Louis and the other guy in the back lean forward to hear what the sentence is gonna be. hahaha
@BIG MAYATE thanks for correcting that, I never noticed it first watch, like a cartoon or something lol
Oh my fucking god ahahaha
Hahahahaha 🙌 great find
And then they both look at each other, and look back! Hahaha
Hahahahahahahaha
This is such a different dynamic to what Louis normally does as this bunch are all very reasonable and accepting people, at least relatively. The guy on the right believes that the younger one is sinning and doing wrong, but goes on to say "he can whatever he wants", not imposing his belief on others. Same goes for the younger one who accepts that people have different beliefs and opinions and respects their right to believe in what they do. Oh and the guy at the back being completely neutral and doing nothing. Such a contrast to the normally obstinate and aggressive interviewees
Hadrian Kwong wow I agree 100%. Nice observation.
Right on point my brother right on point. Almost about how society needs to be right about now. God Bless.
Get to the point dude. Your writing is boring
@@EccoLivingLife shut up.
@@fr9340 I don't think he would be a Christian if he hadn't come to the conclusion that Christianity is reality
If you accepted Jesus it would be better for the team...funniest line ever
I would have accepted Jesus for the team.
Tim Tebow approves
sounds like it came from a will ferrell movie
Well that’s an interesting cancept
Edit: the typo is deliberate, I found it hilarious the way JJ said the word “concept”
Imagine that, mainstream BBC highlighting division, and belittling a Christian and his beliefs. How original 👍🏼
"We have to agree on something"
"Yeah, Rudolph!"
he'd prepared that one months in advance
In fact I've always detested that one myself but, that's alright.
This was one of the best episodes that Louis came up with. Getting all these people together was a fantastic idea. I loved the Christmas dinner they had. Really heartwarming
Which episode was this?
@@lnfreeman weird weekends season 1 episode 1
@@lnfreeman it isn't season 1 episode 1
I watched it yesterday and it's Louis weird Christmas, Google it. That guy on the left just went to a porn shoot and the old religious guy is mad af, this video is the following conversation they have.
@@Nefariously_ignorant yeah you're right thats my bad
This is peak Louis, prompting a genuine and rational reaction from his subjects, which helps the audience understand their position. Whilst at the same keeping things civil and never overstepping the mark.
Louis' trolling hard in this, it's from Louis weird Christmas and the whole episode seems to be about provoking the religious guy, funniest sht ever
@3:20 Louis launches into carols, young dude in the front gets it and cracks up.
Thanks Louis. Gold.
I find it interesting that you’ve got:
An Atheist who genuinely doesn’t believe in Christianity or other religions when it comes to spirituality.
A Christian who was taught Christian morals but does not take every part of the Bible literally and accepts that Christianity is a religion.
A Christian who believes that every single detail within the religion is reality and therefore can’t be considered a religion.
I'm glad this channel didn't disable the comments section on this video like they usually do.
"Is that bad, being dead spiritually? That's like, bad?" lol
😂😂
I really hope I can remember "you know, I have just one sentence for you - you're spiritually dead." That's a devastating line. Starts out friendly enough, and then just a vicious blow. So funny.
Personally I'd take that as a compliment 😂
Not really. If you don’t believe in any kind of spirituality, being told you’re “spiritually dead” is just meaningless.
It doesn’t mean anything
hahaha I love little Louis the stirrer sitting in the back. WIth his adorable little head poking out of the dark!
Yes! The stirrer 🤣
Randy at 2:40 is literally me all the time at everything - a beautiful moment
2:48 international sound of two nice guys disagreeing
LOUIS = TROLLING TO THE MAX
This feels like watching a cartoon
That's all folks.
Louis’ dramatic reaction at 0:46 loool
The look they exchange in the back after the 'ive got one sentence for you...' statement is hilarious
Guy in cap: *trying to put forth his argument*
Louis: 🎶 "I saw three ships come sailing in, come sailing in..."
''I saw three ships come sailing in on Christmas day, on Christmas day''
I love the way Louis plays it dumb to make the person he is interviewing really hang themself.
''Is being dead spiritually bad?''
2:42 haha that face
The moment when they all start singing and even the guy in the front started smiling
That's a good one
lol "it's not a religion it's reality"
The young guy's reaction was priceless. The "WTF" expression. Of course everyone believes that their untestable and unfalsifiable belief is "real", but since none of the 10,000+ beliefs can be demonstraed, we call them religions. How cocky to say "my untestable belief is different becuause I think it is". Well.. so does everyone else.
@Sharks definition of reality. The world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.
Old dude: If you die right now your going to hell
Other guy: PERSONALLY, I dont care.
Me : rollin.....
This is a guy who also said he didn't care about contracting HIV
And this is how a religious debate should be like 👏🏻
Maybe without the patronizing obstinacy of the fundamentalist.
2:43 omg look at expression of the younger guy .....hahahhahahahhahahhahaah
Ha yeah he is a bit odd
Had to watch it five times so funny
0:47 could possibly be the funniest thing I've ever seen
lol so good
I think the young man is really intelligent, he seems to understand and be tolerant of other people's beliefs. Which is interesting to see these days. His dad, the old man, did a solid job of explaining his faith imo, and it was clear Louis was backed into a corner at the end, he didn't want to talk about why there were Christmas lights, more or less, he didn't want to acknowledge the old mana point in what Christmas is in this country. Interesting as usual.
That's not his dad.
2:34
the look on JJ's face says it all
I want to celebrate Christmas with Louis :)
You can always rely on bringing old Rudolph the rain deer out to unite everyone in song, genuine banger👍
Louis singing in his face was amazing to see 🤣🤣🤣
Best team ever
That was the best turn around ever in the history of television
Louis Legend
didn't know JJ was in this
“Did you hear that, Randy!” I love him so much.
Superb characters combined
lol this is such a fun group!!!
The way JJ looks, it's just like your point?
At least they're friendly with each other.
(yeah, call me a fucking hippy, I don't care)
i love the wee guy losing it at louis singing at 3.19
3:51 I died!
OMG ! Im addicted to Louis Theroux = }
most interesting dollar van ride of the day i bet.
i hope JJ got his hairline under control
To seek spiritual advice from a fellow human is like a grain of sand seeking enlightenment from another grain of sand.
@Doctorouminyagrype
Louis has admitted to being an atheist, but no, he is not of Jewish descent. His father is American writer Paul Theroux, who is of French Canadian and Italian descent; his mother, Anne Castle, is English.
1:49 to 2:05. LOL! I love Louis!
The kid at 3:50 lol he wants to sing along. Look at that face.
"i've always detested the song myself" -back seat man after singing said song
That's all very well JJ. But if you don't go to Hell, and you're not a believer so you can't go to Heaven, then...where are you gonna go when there's nowhere else to go? North up to Alaska, south to Mexico...travellin on, travellin on.
@izaccy I have heard him admit his atheism, but that does not mean he does not identify himself as culturally Anglican. After all, evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins identifies himself as both an atheist and a cultural Christian.
The first carol waa class...lol.. Good voice, LT.
The kids widows peak
"Christianity is not a religion." I know a Christian who once said the same thing to me. Really interesting. Supreme arrogance.
Is it even a possibility that Christianity could be true?
This is amazing
At the end all those differences we create among each other are nothing but a waste of time
This is fantastic
Louis actually sings pretty decent! I don't mind hearing him at all.
Watch the Off-Broadway episode of Weird Weekends. He really can't sing.
Nice one. I'm an athiest but still, what you say is true, Christians shouldn't hate. Neither should any of us really..
The Dude Abides!
The answer should be "And if you were born in Thailand, Buddhism would be 'reality'... If you were born in India, Hindi would be your 'reality', etc".
That's when they start with their personal relationship with god crap. Learn about krishna. You can refute Christianity's personal relationship bollocks with that (He was the son of god, died for our sins, third part of the holy trinity, etc)
Always the most devoted religious ...also ....always the most inflexible viewpoint
The young guy is the same but you point out the Christian.
jj's face at 2.44 is funny as,, he seems like a good cat
weird Christmas its fantastic
Louis having a blast here.
+Rob H I know, you can tell he's loving this!
Bearded dude: That's irrelevant.
Me: Yes!
You said: I love GOD but I hate religions. Does that mean that you lied, then, if you say now that you don't believe in God? I'm confused!! The point is that GOD, or whatever it is, is represented by men the way they like it, in the form of religions. And that constitutes the real problem! For all we know, what Christians call God and Muslems Allah could simply be some alliens! That's what I mean. Religion is bad, but you can believe without beeing ranked in a "kind of belief".
JJ is actually really intelligent... i watched the weird weekends epsiode about porn, with him in... but i don't remember him being like this... i really agreed with some stuff he said tbh :D
I couldn't believe this🤣. I wish he'd meet up with the south African mercenaries again
@izaccy why would he be embarrassed? I can't imagine an English person being embarrassed about that. It really isn't a very religious society like America.
Louis you're inspiring
This was on tv just before or around Christmas time..this was so funny to watch...Especially when they all sat down and see a guy who was possessed by an alien and started to talk like an alien..that was so funny 🤣🤣😂
"I enjoy listening to it....in fact I've always detested the song myself"
WTF?
You quoted two different people.
Their all tuff until they get there. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
3:51 he be lookin like pennywise
I don't know if I'm totally troubled by Randy's believes but he sounds arrogant sometimes.
He says to Jay Jay "You're spiritually dad." And while I don't begrudge him for saying that, the way he said it was somewhat hostile.
It's also annoying how he disappreciates the Christmas decorations and I'm sure he's seen them throughout his life.
Louis: DID YOU HEAR THAT RANDY?
Randy:......?
- Christianity is not a religion
Louis - So what is then?
Man - REALITY
Louis - it's *REALITY* (sarcastically)
I had the EXACT SAME THOUGHT.
i think if you are debating or discussing its important to go down a level so as to move on from peripheral things eg christianity even if i do belive its not a religion but in this case i will say it is (context) so we move to more hardcore stuff like something out of nothing arguments
the older guys have odd beliefs but the younger guy is just odd.
that looks so much like him
@MolotovDaSkwerl I completely agree that some atheists are just as guilty as some Christians when it comes to rudely trying to force their beliefs on others of different faiths. However, it is about as likely for an athiest to be convinced of the "possibility" of god as it is for you to be convinced by an atheist that there is a "possibility" that god doesn't exist. Why not just amicably share ideas and leave it at that?
wait a second, what does JJ do? They never actually mention it in that clip.
hes a pornstar
Does no one know the words?
2:42 2:42 2:42 2:42 2:42
JJ has corona with all that coughing
LOL!!! Awesome comment RockandRoller!!!!
I kind of wish the old fella in the front had been allowed to make his point about "what is Christmas" and it had opened up a bit more of a debate. I think a talk on the nature of modern Christmas celebrations (specifically how they have more to do with the pagan Winter Solstice and certain Germanic folklore traditions- not to mention pure capitalism- than with Christian doctrine, which could have led to a talk on how each religion is informed by those it takes over as evidenced by the adoption of late December (the pagan Solstice) as Christ's official birthday during the Council of Nicea when modern evidence would suggest that- if he existed at all, which is in and of itself highly debatable- Christ would have been born in May) would have been more interesting than an off-key rendition of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer...
no, its not highly debatable, pretty much every historian agrees that Jesus existed, where do people get the 'his existence is not solid" meme from? What are you gonna say next, that Alexander the Great didn't exist? Or Julius Caesar? You don't become the most influential figure in history by 'not existing' rofl
@@Diggy7Diggs Yes it is debatable, as a matter of fact there is almost no primary evidence that points to the existence of Christ. There is an overwhelming amount of secondary evidence (enough for most historians to agree that he PROBABLY did exist), but most of this was recorded at least 100 years after he was supposed to have died, if not even later.
And even if he did exist, he was not especially influential himself- certainly no more than any other guru at that time. It was not until the missionary work of the apostles beginning c.50-60 AD that Christianity began to be spread outside of Jerusalem even. And the reason for the widespread popularity of Christianity today can basically be summed up by a mixture of missionary work starting in the middle ages, and colonialism from the 16th to the 19th centuries- very little to do with Christ himself.
Personally I think that it's quite likely that a spiritual leader named Yeshua did form a sect of Judaism which later became known as Christianity and was ultimately executed by the Romans, given the amount of secondary evidence that exists to corroborate this. But going by the strict standards of historical investigation, which values primary sources above all else, there is little more than a single scrap of paper that may actually be considered "evidence" of this, unlike, say, Alexander the Great or Julius Caesar, for whom there is plenty of primary evidence.
@@oliverholmes-gunning5372 No person that's not your typical angry atheist would even debate this. Even in your own argument you basically concede he did exist. You don't change the world by not existing, cope more
@@Diggy7Diggs Woah calm down there mate😂 why do you theists always make it so personal?
Like I said, I believe there is a strong likelihood that he did exist, but your original statement that there is absolutely no question that he did was factually inaccurate, which is all I was saying.
And the other point I was making was that he didn't change the world, the world was changed in his name (and not usually for the better, but that's another argument).
@@oliverholmes-gunning5372 rofl I knew it! It's always atheists who for some reason (I wonder why?????) want Jesus to not have existed. sad!

Christianity is not a religion? I'm amazed at this kind of thinking, of course I do understand it. People who say that claim no responsibility for their affiliation. By saying Christianity is not a religion it becomes easier to use the old "not a true Christian" chestnut and avoid all personal responsibility. Accepting Christianity as a religion implies a family or brotherhood and with that comes shared responsibility.
What horrible things to say to people.
The young guy looks like the driver from bonnie and Clyde
He can be more than one thing. He's human. He can be both gay and an atheist if he likes.
