This is not a CASTLEVANIA game, this is hideo kojima's joke of a retelling. Gabriel Belmont does not exist. Hideo Kojima ruined my favourite (since original nintendo) series and left it for dead. Castlevania HD was the best.
That would be amazing. It's my #1 favorite game of all time. A masterpiece. It deserves the same recognition games like the Last of Us (also amazing) gets.
I did this boss fight and was a PAIN in the ass! Yet, overall, this was an impressive fight. I think Cornell was giving Gabriel a hidden warning to stop because, in my opinion, he knew something was up. Gabriel doesn't see through the warning and fight ensues.
@E G. Not to brag, but I took speech class through my school years and was educated to look at things from another perspective(best and understanding class, in my opinion) as one of the lessons. It was due to me having a disability and it'd be recommended for me. Years later, I do creative writing as a little hobby and continue to let that lesson play in my head. In that moment, when playing that chapter, I decided to place myself in Cornell's perspective and HEARD the warning clearly. When looking at Gabriel's perspective, he's blind because of his loss and grief. I heard NO warning from Cornell's mouth. Just measly lies and bluffing after years of being one with the Brotherhood.
He kept the full truth hidden from Gabriel. All the lords knew Gabriel couldn't be convinced to stop and enjoyed knowing what could happen to him if he continued.
It's the same voice that is your mentor in Dungeon Keeper 2 and War for the Overworld. In Dungeon Keeper 1 he voiced the level descriptions on the world map

Nah. Completely different universe. If canon in LOD Cornell would no longer has his man-beast form. They're just trying to throw his name in for clout.
I personally think that the revelation that the Lords of Shadow and the Founding Spirits were one and the same was enough of a twist in of itself. They didn't need to add to it with the Founders dying if their corresponding Lords are killed. besides, ascending to Heaven as a spirit is by definition dying.

This was the best origin for Dracula. This game has the best selection of enemies, great use of weapons and an amazing story

The story line in this game was amazing. The plot twist about the 3 Lords of Shadow were once part of the same brotherhood as Gabriel.
IMO this was one the most epic boss battles ever!
Castlevania has always had some of the best music, and themes.

the most annoying part for most of the enemies: the shockwave BS from their attacks
i found throwing what they threw at us to be the hardest part.
