Soak in spectacular sunsets and observe the desert wildlife
Love Lake Dubai gets its name from its unique shape consisting of two large, interconnected hearts. This scenic spot is situated in the serene Al Qudra area, so head here if you want to surround yourself with nature.
Once known as a hidden gem, this desert haven - home to more than 100 species of animals, flowers and plants - has now gained popularity as one of the most picturesque locales in the city and is frequented by residents and tourists alike.
Plan a day out at Love Lake Dubai
Sunsets are absolutely mesmerising from this oasis where everything is dedicated to love - with sculptures of hearts and even trees manicured in a way to spell out the word ‘love’ when seen from above. Visitors can picnic or set up barbecues in designated areas and take in the greenery while keeping an eye out for the wildlife, including many different kinds of birds.
If you’re a fitness enthusiast, there is a jogging path on-site and Love Lake is very close to the Al Qudra Cycling Track, too. There's plenty of parking available, making this a great spot to head over to with friends and family.
How to get to Love Lake Dubai
Given Love Lake Dubai's location outside the city, the quickest and easiest way to reach the attraction is by car. The main entrance to Al Qudra is accessible from the Emirates Road (E611) or the Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66).
If you would like to use public transport, take the 67 bus route to Nakheel Stables. From there, catch a taxi to Love Lake Dubai, which will take about 20 minutes.
