I think that the Jackals would make EXCELLENT space pirates following the dissolution of the Covenant as an alliance. That said, it's a bit of a popular misconception that the hollow bones of birds make them inherently weaker - the way that bird bones are shaped and positioned within the body actually give them more than enough strength to compensate for the lack of density. It's like building an arch.
While they were in the covenant, those who owned ships where basically privateers, and on their home world they were essentially a matriarchal pirate society.

@@valdatnergigante3439 I remember in halo 4 we saw a jackal kill a scientist by biting his neck but the jackal had his helmet on so he couldn't have bitten him
Roanoke Gaming I was going to suggest covering the hunter but I saw you already did that! But one thought I had while watching was how similar the Lekgolo are to ant colony's! Similar to how you compared the jackals to birds/dinosaurs I would love to see what may have inspired the creation of enemies! Such detail is what gave halo its origional following and in my opinion the lack of it is what is killing the game. They focus on gun play and game modes and less on detail. Who said one player games are dead? Breath of the wild is amazing! I feel in the newer halos the campaign simply pushes you along a storyline where in the previous games they emersed you in the world. I remember distinctly the library from combat evolved. An endless maze of flood and limited ammo really put you in a state of panic and unease by the time you teleported out of the library it was so liberating. Funny thing is i remember hating it. I guess its like a fine wine or aged cheese, a flavor of game design that is lost on the developers today.
its interesting how as you get older things start to look better, I can honestly say though, with the new halo games, they wont be remembered well lol the old games had such a deep lore and it made it awesome. Maybe halo 6 will correct the path!
If I ran into a Jackal with no shield or weapon I would pick up a tree branch and try to kill it with that. I'm not gonna risk getting to close to them.
If I were going to be reincarnated as a jackal, I'd be a tivoan (correct me if I misspelled). They're fast, look cool, and can jump really high, which probably doesn't make any sense since they evolved on an asteroid and reach undoubtedly has more gravity, still cool.
though we only saw them in one game the skirmishers are by far by favorite alien race from the halo series, because velociraptor birds are always awesome
The kig yar are actually monsters physically. You see one in halo 5 physically catch a 200 pound crawler then toss it. And another one tackle a rip out the throat of an elite. No human could ever do that.
have you seen that part in Halo 4 where a jackal flings itself like 30 feet and pounces on some human? anyway, every time I go on your channel you have way more subscribers than you used to

Also they are weak compared to other Covenant Species but they are much stronger than Humans. This is proven by the fact that in Halo 4 an Ibie'shan Jackal kills a human in close range with literally no effort. But Halo lore is very complicated and I love your videos.
i dont know how to feel about realizing that a kigyar's weakness is a blunt tough creature with strength....like the grunts....which they somehow bully...How do jackels not get smacked and killed by grunts?

Roanoke Gaming IDK lore wise the og spartan ii’s numbering only 30 something and were highly feared by, and effective against, the covenant, which numbered in the hundreds of billions. Hollowed bones does not really matter, sure they are easier to break and all that. another example is that we have Golden eagles that hunts wolfs (hollowed bone pred vs solid bone pred) So when Eagles are capable of hunting wolfs, I hardly believe a human would be able to beat up a Jackal.
Jackal will destroy us pretty much at any time....they are way too agile.
if you kicked straight down on its...version of a femur, you would definitely crack that thing. Length of bones has alot to do with it as well!
Na ga sa~ -Jackal spam/warcry
PS: after watching the grunt and this video .....why exactly where the grunts not going through the jackal-hood in fight-club style....breaking every jackals skeleton, that looked funny on them?
probably don't really understand what they are capable of
Maybe as an add on do the forerunners

Sweet looking foreward to it pun intended
And by the way I will try to support the channel to the best of my ability

A bit of brains kills anything

Do you think that a combined Warhammer 40k universe (including chaos and the Tyranids) could go toe to toe against the doom demons???
Thought you were going to say kigyar verses homosexuals
Depends on the subspecies the one on the volcanic island in the one with the feathery plumes of kill the f*** out of you once from Halo one you might stand a chance because they seemed to have less natural weaponry on them
