hi babes!! so turns out I used too much vitamin c (what else is new lol) but I forgot to mention I did let it sit on my skin for a few minutes before using foundation over top 🥰 regardless I’m not crazy about the product for $24 but will continue using the foundation with my fav primers & update you all soon! thanks for watching xx

I was just about to comment that it was most likely the serum. I haven’t had good luck with most of the serums I’ve used so I just stay away from them.

Jas, looking back at how upset and shook up you used to get with things went wrong on these videos …. it was so funny and cute and of course I’m a Gma (my kids are older than you 😜) so everything you do is adorable.

Its def the vit C causing your foundation to ball up. Sucks when that happens!! We've all been there. You're a trooper for doing it all over again for us.

Despite the flaws, the end look was gorgeous!😍 Maybe the serum didn’t go with the foundation which caused the separation and balling up? 👀 Try your reg routine and see if it works out differently.
This is super random but I have a new favorite snack I thought I’d share😂 it’s just frozen blueberries, but specifically ones that aren’t quite ripe, it’s like a sweet/sour snack that feels unhealthy but it’s just fruit

Try the blueberries in cereal! The milk gets icy and the berries give even plain cereal a sweetness.

Its peeling because of the vit c serum I looked on there website an they recommended to wait a few mins before going in with the foundation.

I have used this foundation everyday since buying it, I didn’t get the serum, but I use just my standard primer under and have never had it ball up on me! It’s actually my new favorite drugstore foundation (for now) for my oily skin! ❤️
Same here! I think it’s the serum. I’ve noticed that many of my serums and foundations don’t play well together and do that very same “ball up” pilling thing.

I think that it was probably the serum that was causing the foundation to ball up. I would love an update if you keep trying it and it continues to ball up!
I assume the serum is pilling with the foundation. I bet if you'd left more time in between applying the serum and the foundation, you'd be fine! I know the skin care people on youtube always say to leave a good amount of time between skin care products and makeup if you can.

The vitamin c serum is what made your foundation ball up. You’re only supposed to use 2 drops and you’re also supposed to let it dry before you do your foundation

I, of course, snapped up the foundation the second I saw it last week at Walmart. I LOVE it and have never had trouble with pilling so pretty sure it’s not the foundation alone. Like others have said, it’s the vitamin C serum. Gorgeous!
I love that you still talk about black owned brands/brands owned by POC! I feel like last summer a lot of people were doing Black Owned Beauty Brand makeup tutorials and then they just... stopped. It's always lovely to hear you mention and consistently use brands owned by BIPOC people.

I have told you this before but GET THE SONIA KASHUK CREAM BRONZER GIRL. Its only available on amazon but its like $10 and its amazing. Not orange and blends like butter. Its the perfect neutral cool shade (im almost the same shade as you). Trust me, get it ladies!!! Its so good. Its also a spot on dupe for the chanel tan de chanel cream bronzer. 😍😍😍

Honestly when you said you wiped out your foundation and started all over again I didn’t notice a big difference without it just because your skin looks great!
Girl I tried the mascara too, and I found if you leave it sit for a week after using it once and then come back it is perfection. It’s one of those if you know what I mean.

I have had the foundation for a week and I LOVE IT. I'm an oil slick and it stays on my face for 12 hours.

I am also so thrilled to see that elf putty bronzer. We had a house fire and my daughter and I lost all of our makeup/beauty stuff. She is VERY dark and finding brands that make shades deep enough for her is a STRUGGLE
I use that Uoma vitamin c serum everyday. Its amazing. But you cant use too much and i only use it at night and that way it sinks in overnight. I dont think its meant to be used under makeup really. Definitely try it again love. It has done amazing things for my skin. And i loveeee the flawless IRL foundation by them and their one and done brow pencil/fiber gel duo. Its a great brand! 😍😍 love you Jas 😍

I picked up the foundation and the mascara too! Loved the foundation, hated the mascara. The Believe Beauty one from dollar general is way better. But the Uoma foundation is gorgeous. It’s my new favorite at the drug store!
Just want to add that I use the foundation with the elf mint primer (don’t know the exact name but it’s like a dupe for the milk hydrogrip I think) and they work beautifully together for me!

I love that you said you have lil meltdowns, there's been a few times where I can't get my lashes to stick or I keep messing up my eyeliner and I get so upset I smear it every where like a psycho. Anyone else? Just me? I used the lip stains as blush so pretty. I also played with them on lids and it gives an editorial glossy lid.
I use Timeless Vitamin C serum and it works well under makeup- no issues at all!
My Vitamin C serum and my SPF fight when I use them together, so I moved my C to my night routine. C does not always play well with others in serum form. You still looked flawless!💯

Found beauty has a balm stick that’s very similar to the Tula eye balm . It’s soo nice , since I don’t use a primer that’s like a base before my concealer and it’s lovely 🥰. Thought I’d mention that :)

i noticed when i used a vitmain c product from murad it didnt go good with primer or foundation but i also do believe that spf does the same thing when you used with certain products too. thanks for the vids girl
