The Tomei is very beautiful, makes a lot more messy and can also be heard from the cockpit. Invidia n1 makes more of the bass and if you go slowly you hear little noise. Tomei makes it more to the highs and spectacular sound
The invidia n1 Street single exit has a resonator so it helps cut down on the drone, if your worried about drone especially if you do a lot of highway driving def get resonated version and stick with invidia. If your looking for all out performance the tomei is best because of the weight loss being titanium over stainless steel. You can’t compare the dual exit n1 invidia to the tomei they’re two totally diff exhausts. My opinion if you have a daily driver is run the invidia n1 street version with invidia catless divorced wastegate downpipe. I ran that setup with aem cold air intake and proper supporting mods and saw freakishly big gains in power
Lmao the pops are it backfiring get a adjustable bov and u can adjust it to run more vent to atmosphere so it’ll have a richer fuel mixture when shifting and it’ll pop. My sedan would throw fireballs out my invidia n1 exhaust. If you want to make the most power do a single exit tomei or invidia n1 exhaust. Dual exit exhausts hinder power because the piping tapers and nvm dual mufflers to exit out of. My 12 Sti sedan I made over 300whp and 300wtq on a mustang dyno and I was not pro tuned and running a Cobb stage 2 map. Aem cold air intake and invidia catless turboback with n1 Street single exit exhaust is what I ran. Plus obv supporting mods is why I made a crazy amount of power over everyone else
@@adidas2284 actually no. The fuel is going to get added no matter what. Hes not buring the fuel in the cylinders cause lack of air being vented to atmosphere so you get the pop of the fuel being burnt in exhaust instead. No extra fuel required. Just air deleted. Simple
Drone on the tomei is obv a lot more over a dual exit n1. The single exit n1 street I ran on my 12 Sti sedan with catless invidia downpipe and the drone wasn’t too bad unless u were cruising on the highway for a while then it got annoying. If your worried about drone and exhaust noise then a N1 canister exhaust is def not for you, go with the q300 or tanabe medallion as those are a lot quieter when cruising
The invidia n1 single exit also exits on the right side same side as the turbo so it’s literally a straight shot from the turbo to the n1 canister. The less bends and changes to the exhaust flow means more power gains and efficiency. They do make a panel to fill the exhaust cut out in the bumper to make it look more asthetically pleasing since that’s why ppl are afraid to run single exit. The tomei exits the driver side because it’s JDM so that’s the pass side in Japan. The invidia also comes with a silencer insert which bolts to the muffler tip with 3 bolts so if you have a long trip or want it quiet this will make the exhaust super quiet but it will also make the car feel as if it has lost 50hp. Recommend using the silencer on long road trips or commutes and reflashing the ecu with the economy map.
I ran the invidia n1 street on my 12 Sti sedan and I loved it and for some reason my car was louder then ppl with the n1 race catback. The popping is ur car running rich causing it to back fire aka the fuel is igniting in the exhaust causing it to pop. Usually will do this when ppl run an adjustable bov and have it set to vent mostly to atmosphere causing it to be rich between shifts and when the throttle is released. I ran a go fast bits bov and if set to 50/50 it would stop the popping. I had one of thee most powerful stage 2 cars out there and was running a ots map was not protuned made over 300whp on mustang dyno which anyone knows is damn high for a stage 2 Sti when most make 290-300 but are pro tuned.
Nice tomie
Resonated or non resonated for invidia
What other mods do you?
What's your exhaust setup?
Hood stack man
what's your impression of the two? Is one a deeper tone? How much louder is the Tomei? I'm trying to decide between these two exhausts.

Is just the catback or you do other modification? Sounds great
The Tomei is way better sounds deeper and louder Rumble 🤙
You're right, the Tomei is much more beautiful
How do u get the pops?
I need answers too

By wasting fuel

@@jeffawake4669 rich mixture + reduced timing = wasted fuel going out the tail pipe. It's there cool thing kids like to do.
I must be tone deaf, I can't tell the difference between the two.
How did you get your tomei muffler tilted to that position ?
It has been mounted normally, no changes have been made
the design is like that i have it on my 2017 sti and a invidia n1 single exit on my 2012 wrx
How’s the drone on each?

Ok on the tomei unless u add a downpipe.
@@davidsteadyjr8243 Agreed. I have a single exit N1 and the drone is crazy IMO. I want the Tomei, but the drone is louder from what I've seen.
single exhaust is 10 times better sorry
i just hate the look of it. my car came with quad exhaust and dammit i want to keep quad exhausts
Were these non resonated no mention of it
ever find out?
what down pipe do you have

This isn’t a equal comparison ur comparing a dual exit with a single exit and ones titanium
Not a equal comparison ? What the fuck. He is just comparing two differents exhausts... Jeez
