It did not come back at all since these years. So I did not troubelshoot it any further. I still own the car and use it daily, and no such happened. But we did nto have that cold winter since then to be honest.

Yes seems like the diesel fuel got a bit more solid instead of liquid. The car was not started for a week standing outside on a parking place. In the mornings it was -11 but in the night it was -24. However I belive maybe 1 or 2 glow plugs are defective. Scheduled for maintenance :(
Breaker HUN I just came from the service changing glow plugs. all 4 was OK so the exchange was useless. Mine starts lot better than this video but sometimes i have to try 2 - 3 times. but not for that long. After I putted a full tank of OMV Max motion diesel in it starts like new car. So I think your teoubble is the fuel quality. Maybe it crystalised and cant go through injectors well. Try the premium (winter edition) diesel, normally designed to down to -40°C. there is few types of fuels at the stations. depends on the year time. they should sell different fuels at the winter time. Maybe some petrol stations dont take this serious.
Anton Cernay I still haven't got to the Ford saloon for check up, however this paticular 3 minute starting did not occur since I uploaded the vid. I always put the Shell Nitro+ Diesel (premium diesel) into the tank, I thought that could not have any issues. However the car was not moved for 5 days and the nights got below -24C, therefore it is possible that the fuel crystalized causing this issue as you mentioned. Since then, I start to heat up the glow plugs around 3 times before actually trying to start the engine and it starts after around 5 seconds, however it is true that there were no -24 nights since then only around -15.
+ it was about 2 hours job to change the plugs. As they are located at the back of the engine under the EGR valve and its heat sink. Both of them had to be dismantled and then we found out that the plugs were ok 😣.
Az önindító pedig jól teker, az is szokott gond lenni ezeknél. Pedig tanúsíthatom, hogy 400 ezer km után is elsőre simán indulnia kellene.
Why do you wait so long after the glow plug light goes out? You're letting the glow plug cool down before you start cranking.
Wrong, its not the głów pług that egnites the mixture but hot się in the cylinder.
Only -11 and fail? My focus 2.0 tdci start on first try at -20

aso delete the video you eberass ford, first make sure glow plugs and battey are ok

masz bardzo słaby akumulator.
