Logan wouldn't have matured into the man he is today with Dana. School Dance proved they are too similar. Nicole wouldn't have stood her ground and been walked over. Zoey is just a big no. Quinn is emotional enough to help Logan see his emotional side and she also stands her ground and gives him boundaries. Once he knew she stands fast to her boundaries and doesn't play around he's able to get closer to her.
