Attack on Titan is an amazing series with Long Plot and beloved characters and you summed that plot up perfectly
On episode 7 my dads girlfriend came in when mikasa was about to be saved by eren in titan form and turned it off and I am still pissed 10 years later
the plot twist in this show was never just there for the sake of a plot twist so to speak

Thank you so much for this video man. I’ve recently come to the conclusion that this is my number one favourite anime after seeing the ending and looking back on everything I’ve seen from it. (It used to be Jojo’s haha)
Man when I saw the final ending I literally bursted into tears, that’s how much this show means to me. Like you said the plot, characters, twists, world building and everything are all in tune with one another.
I have been honoured to watch this series and I’m very thankful to not only Isayama and the animators, but to everyone else who helped make this journey come to life.

Absolute Masterpiece, I loved everything about this story and watching something else just never hit's like aot. Probably will not be connected to a another show like it ever or for the next few years.

I've watched the series 5 times through and will be watching it again with my dad soon. I've even watched most of the episodes through reactor up to 20-25 and I think it's so cool to still find new insights. new theories that fit perfectly. I don't know of any show that has so few gaps in story and world building. Also the humanity and stupid decisions that are somehow criticized by some as to why they react the way they do but you're not in the situation and unfortunately it's easier to think about it on the couch. I was biased at the beginning and didn't want to watch the show at all. luckily I can say now that I was able to watch almost all the episodes in one go except for the specials and it's now the best show I've ever seen. The problem is that now many other shows are being watched more closely for flaws. for gaps in the world or in the story. I could go on forever about how great the show is and how it has affected me.

erens plan is to make his friends the hero's of humanity by killing him he wants all his friends to live long happy lives but he then says he had no idea if they would survive the battle against all the shifters and then he says again that he knew they would stop him
eren says mikasa has to free ymir but eren already freed her back in the zeke eren paths scene the rumbling literally couldn't have started without her being free
eren says he doesn't know why he did it even thought he has already said why does isayama have Alzheimer's?

And why are you taking eren's words when he is literally in the state of being influenced by the paths, concept of time,

And stop making claims isayama has Alzheimer's because you fail to see the subtext in why eren is confused about his desire for freedom especially when we see Grisha telling Eren he is free,
Eren freed Ymir from her serving the royal blood, but in chapter 137, Zeke and armin ponders what ymir wants,
And also because why would she still in the paths , the ending literally showed her being free and being a adult once she saw Mikasa after the battle is over.
At least if you just disliked the ending because you watched some ending hater video which just talks nonsense and makes baseless arguments why it is bad, then stop
