After Jordan Peele's Get Out - I feel like a lot of horror use similar sound design now.

its brilliant feels really similar to the longlegs teaser (maybe it was done by the same team?) which singlehandedly got to me watch that terrible movie.

I heard them say in a Talk to Me interview that they made a point to show the dog being taken out of the room before they start getting possessed because they didn't want the dog to be in any danger or for people to be distracted from the scene, worried it would be. I reckon the cat's probably okay. I hope so anyway.

In an above-average number of very good films, a cat dies.
Inside Lewin Davis, Gummo, Boondock Saints, The Innocents (2021), Dogtooth. With the track record, a dead cat would be more appealing to me than knowing that it survives. In the end, it's a movie ;)

What I’m getting from this trailer and the title of the film, is that Sally Hawkins’s character had a little girl that died somehow and so she started to foster children to find a good vessel basically to bring her dead daughter back to life through them. Of course through the use of some form of elaborate, occult ritual.
I never get these types of predictions right but I THINK I GOT IT THIS TIME CMON.

A24 has some of the best original horror stories. They seem like they have requirements for directors to be original, because everything they put out feels fresh.
I disagree they have had a few good horrors but people act like they are so original I think they are hit or miss with alot of bad ones in-between

Great teaser. Sets the tone for what to expect and doesnt give anything away. Wasnt as big a fan of Talk to Me as everyone else seemed to be but ill give this one a fair shake.

I've seen a ton of horror in my time, but these guys really know how to make a character scary!! 0:48 is so unsettling, it really gets under my skin! The same goes for the black eyes in Talk To Me. I can't wait to see this, and sleep with the lights on after that!
