The folks at NASCAR obviously don't care for video games. How long has it been since we've had a good NASCAR game? I know there's iRacing, but it's not the same, it's expensive and mostly online. We need a good single player game that doesn't require a monthly subscription.

It is NOT the fans' fault that a company run by audacious scammers and financed by incompetent baboons released a piece of software barely worth the printed cover under the plastic wrapper!
I'd have to say 21 by far, cause while Heat Evolution is probably the most feature stripped NASCAR game, at least it was actually playable and at least for me, there weren't too many glitches besides some cars occasionally flying high in the air and the infamous pause glitch. As for 21, it probably takes a good 3 minutes to get in a race, online is probably 5, sometimes the game just crashes or you'll be just be staring at your cars roll cage when you try to get in a race. And you can't even create your own driver or car in career mode ;-;
Some of the glitches look similar to (in my opinion) the worst F1 game, F1 2014. The disappearing into the track glitch is on that game too, so is the illogical physics. The worst thing, however, was the online experience. It was impossible to play online racing against other online racers, there were lag spikes everywhere and because of this, not only couldn't the game place the location of the players in each lobby, but their cars would do all sorts of crazy things due to the lag, like bouncing up and down on the starting grid...even before the race got underway. It was a disaster
This is a cautionary tale, the reason 704 hadn't added those things that many folks thrashed them for is that they wanted to make an actual, playable game with depth. What good is a paint booth when the game barely functions?
I mostly had problems with the assists, and I am a wheel player. In high steering assist it pretty much just drives for you and can't go high at Daytona straightaways, medium had the car be very tight, and the low was just out of control for me. No steering assist which is in my game has some really comfortable gameplay, that is until you are in a pack. I can't make laps with no assist pack racing because the contact physics are so bad. I'd touch somebody on the side and it would spin my car straight into the infield. This makes the game unplayable for me, you don't have a fun time with either setting off assists, medium is at least decent. It should be like My game heat 3 that has no steering assist, but you can edit the sensitivity and there is no crazy contact physics.
I think evolution is the worst as it quite literally had nothing good about it. Crappy graphics, little to no features, and the sounds are just terrible. At least Ignition looks good, has cool features, and good physics. Biggest problem I have had with Ignition is the AI
How hard is it to just give us what Heat 4 gave us with the addition of ARCA, fully customizable paint schemes with sponsors, a wide difficulty radius from super easy to hard and realistic, and little things like drivers retiring or changing teams? That's literally all you've gotta fucking do. But they turn it into rocket science.
As an Indycar fan, I hope that the new Indycar game coming out next year isn't as bad as this especially considering Motorsport Games is the same developer for the Indycar game as this.
Throwing this out there. If Nascar would pay someone to make a good consistent and complete game for their cup serries. They wouldn't use Iracing for the invitation serries... Just think about that.
This is by far worse than heat evolution. Heat evolution allowed you to run your own pace lap before you do your actual lap, had trucks and xfinity, had way more gameplay options to choose from, did not glitch as much, had a season mode with your favorite driver, had a finished product, and so on. Nascar Ignition is practically unplayable. The game won't even allow me to race in career mode because it glitches before I can race. The one thing I'll give to Ignition is the soundtrack is great. So was Heat tho. This should not be a debate.
I prefer the NASCAR Racing series from Papyrus. There was great modding support for that game (including me). It is the most realistic NASCAR game outside of iRacing (and I believe iRacing is based on the same Physic's engine). I bought NASCAR The GAME in 2011. It stands today as the only Steam game that I have requested a refund for.
I'd put Nascar '21 Ignition as the worst game, because it's completly unplayable, I spent 60 bucks for this mess of code for nothing, this is what they bring to the market after two whole years of development? That's just laughable in my opinion. Cars are on ice all the time, cars suddenly get hyperspeed, the poor physics (I'm sorry, but I can't spin out anybody in this game, they are glued onto the track surface) and lack of key things while driving, like functioning UI, tire and fuel info, the spotter having a rap battle during superspeedway races and in general, the cars don't feel like cars. I've lost hope for Motorsport Games all together after this, if they can't get their stuff together for 2022, there's no other choice than to hand over the rights to a functional and decent company.
Ok so here is what I'm going to say about the game: Everything else sucks BESIDES the online racing and (maybe) the paint booth. That's just it for me. P.S. you can ask Micahel Mcruz about the online part because we do 40 car lobbies on his streams of the game online and it works when it is in invite only mode.
These glitches remind me of my Assetto Corsa with NASCAR mods, Daytona specifically had engine destroying walls. Only difference is that in AC you can fix most mods with the Notepad or the Model Editor that comes with the game, while official Nascar Games barely have any modding posibilities
Good lord!!! And from what I know about business: the "Get Rich Quick" schemes never work...and the other thing that I was disappointed in was NO XFINITY SERIES and NO CTWS, as part of career mode, or race now, give or take. Because of this, it kind of worries me about L7 Motorsports' IndyCar game worries me.... because this is their "put your money where your mouth is" moment....
I didn’t buy the game, but I am pissed for the people that did. The game’s developers have insulted the intelligence of the NASCAR gaming community by thinking they could pour sugar on sh*t and call it a brownie.
This game has potentially killed this entire company for me. I'm extremely extremely unsure about purchasing anything they put out in the future because of how horrible this is. To me it's straight up unplayable.
Man. Glad I didn't get this game. That would've been a waste of money. I was not too excited when I hear that game was coming out. But after watching other people playing this game and complaining about it I was never gonna buy this at all. Hopefully the NASCAR game they create next won't be messed up or glitchy as NASCAR 21 ignition.
The only hope is that Ignition makes a similar jump that the Heat series did. Heat Evolution was horrid, but Heat 2-4 made decent upgrades, it’d be nice if Ignition did something similar.

2:58 honestly I kinda want that back lmao (as an option to turn it on of course)
And NASCAR want out of their contract with the company. That’s how bad it is
Ignition is the worst game ever, heat 5 is still playable and where most of my leagues still race in 2022.
Damn son, daytona usa 1 and 2 are miles ahead of this game and those games out in 1994 and 1998
I did hear on dale Jr's podcast today that Iracing is working on a dirt late model game for consoles
It’s even licensed and will be based on the World of Outlaws series.
I think It’s time for a new studio to make a NASCAR game.
Throwing this out there. If Nascar would pay someone to make a good consistent and complete game for their cup serries.
They wouldn't use Iracing for the invitation serries... Just think about that.
I'm so glad I deleted this game
This is by far worse than heat evolution. Heat evolution allowed you to run your own pace lap before you do your actual lap, had trucks and xfinity, had way more gameplay options to choose from, did not glitch as much, had a season mode with your favorite driver, had a finished product, and so on. Nascar Ignition is practically unplayable. The game won't even allow me to race in career mode because it glitches before I can race. The one thing I'll give to Ignition is the soundtrack is great. So was Heat tho. This should not be a debate.
Heat Evo was Cup only.
@@FMecha Good point. I should’ve been clear on my point that is was heat 4 not heat evolution
I’d say heat evaluation is much worse cause if nascar 21 actually worked it’d be looked at as an ok game but nascar evaluation is just shit all around
Honestly if they were able to take NASCAR Thunder 2004 and just upscale it and update the roster/tracks I'd be happy.
I don’t understand why they don’t just do a roster update to Heat 5 after this dumpster fire was released in the state it was.
Ok so here is what I'm going to say about the game:
Everything else sucks BESIDES the online racing and (maybe) the paint booth. That's just it for me.
P.S. you can ask Micahel Mcruz about the online part because we do 40 car lobbies on his streams of the game online and it works when it is in invite only mode.
I think the Nascar Rumble music fits perfectly with this video 😁👍
Meanwhile, in NR2003...
Hopefully NASCAR Ignition sees a big turnaround like the one No Man Sky went through.
Wish Iracing would help develop something like what they got maybe not all they have but give us three NASCAR series
want a nascar experience just play Iracing.
I’m still baffled how it could have been this bad. I mean it’s not like a racing game is the most ground breaking game over completed to develop.
As soon as I saw that there would be no trucks or xfinity I pretty much instantly gave up on it glad I didn't get this
This game has potentially killed this entire company for me.
