Hey I picked up some alpine tweeters off of temu haha I know I know lol it's temu. But they are alpine 1in dome tweeters and they were only 20 bucks and they come with little crossovers. My question is are they junk? Or is the DDT-S30. Known to be solid tweeters? I have never been disappointed with alpine so gave it a shot but haven't installed them yet. Any recommendations? Do or donts?
Hi five star I need help just put some speaker and wanted to know is ther really a way to stop speaker pop cause when u connected the batter the car are similar when turning on radio what should I do leave volume down all the way please help give me some directions thanks if u can
so we can directly wire the tweeters to the door speakers but will have to use crorssovers for that right? is only the crossover that we will need or also a bass blocker or the crossover is actually a bass blocker? thanks
GoproZack the tweeters will need a crossover and you can use the radios crossover for the bigger speakers. Tweeters need to be crossover up around 8000 ish

I have a bit of an unrelated question... How can I determine the polarity of my Focal tweeter? there are absolutely no markings on it and given its construction, there are no moving parts to watch if I were to do a pop test with a battery. Help please, thanks!

What's a standard sized cap/bass blocker for a tweeter? I googled it and it's a rabbit hole. Is there a standard size used in car audio?

I have to run this test as close to the head unit as possible correct? In case the capacitor is not located right next to the tweeter.

So does that tweeter have an inline cap?
A 9v battery easily has enough current to burnout the voice coil on a tweeter.
So can I hook my back tweeters up to my back speaker with bass blockers

My tweeters have a cross-over, but i still hear bass from one of the tweeters. Its very annoying. Can anyone quide me on how to fix this? Please.
+jonathanjpina is it installed backwards? If it is a box style crossover it can do that.
