I probably posted this sometime in the past, but the first time I heard this performance and song a couple of years ago, it came up on my suggested playlist on Amazon and I wasn't really paying attention and as it started playing I was like "whoah... Floyd or Gilmour did some new music!!! Wasn't until I looked at who it was before I realized that it wasn't them. That's a HUGE compliment to RPWL. So I sent it to a music loving friend and didn't tell him who it was either, and he thought the exact same thing. LOVE this song!!!

I am quite sure that I have some RPWL black vinyl stashed away with the rest of ancient Prog. black vinyl it is all in storage as, I became quite ill back in 2003, but there are loads of records and CDs that I purchased ages ago!!!.
You're right but I don't care :) I'm planning on driving a few hours later this year to be able to see them live. This is the closest thing I can do to traveling back in time and seeing Pink Floyd live.
The verses sound strikingly similar to 30 Seconds To Mars's 'Echelon'. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys had heard Mars's first album, as it too has some prog-rock elements.
What the FK ever happened to the original Wasted Land video? Possibly the governments of the world thought it to controversial? It has still got to be out there somewhere on somebody's computer.
So much like Pink Floyd after Roger Waters left (80's/90's Floyd). Wilson sounds like Gilmore vocally, guitarists is not a Gilmore "tone" but style wise, yes, a bit , not exactly, like Gilmore.
