No one went from hero to zero faster than Paterno.
It was all so tragic & shocking on so many levels.

I just want to ask this, why does everyone not get tougher on Mike Mcqueary???? People in this comment say it's not hard to call 911 ok. Why didn't Mike Mcqueary go over there & stop it. Joe could have done more but Mcqueary saw it & did nothing.

Paterno is guilty by his silence. Football must never be put ahead of the university.

I dont want to hear he was a good man. A "good man" stands by the set of principals that he believes in. I dont even claim to be a good man but i know for a fact if I knew someone was raped a child at that, that i couldnt just turn an eye.. How do you sleep at night after? somethings to think about...And im a Penn State ALum

But if your torn between principles what do you do? Imagine how close he must have been with Sandusky, thinking he was basically a brother to him...ask yourself if you'd turn in your own brother for a crime you aren't certain was committed...if you answer quickly yes then you must not have close family ties or loyalty to them. It's a tough spot to be put in

Try doing some actual research, and not just believing the media narrative or that BS Frehy Report. Why do you think the wins were reinstated, why do you think the scholarships were returned? Try going to the website FramingPaterno.com, and decide for yourself.

hossahunter22 So you don't know if me witnessing my brother or sister raping a child would constitute in me calling the police? It's called thats totally disgusting and a total sacrifice of a childs innocence and that adults freedoms. Family or not, at that point, you arent my family and then I dial 911.

So many unknown questions, Joe messed up could have done more, yet he was treated like the real criminal. What about the president, the AD & Mike Mcquarey. If anyone is a villain it’s McQuarey cause he saw an act happen & did nothing to help the child no instead he had to talk with his dad. These coaches almost all have something Saban & Urban Myer lead in that department. Urban knew Aaron Hernandez had issues yet when the incidents pile up the team had Tebow talk to the restaurant management. If Urban would have kicked Hernandez off the team maybe enough gets through Aarons head & he doesn’t become a double murder. Win football games or do the right thing in todays money & rule breaking society. It looks like you can’t do both.

After watching the movie for the first time and looking over the case of Jerry. He told who he was suppose to that’s why he didn’t go to jail but he fasho could have did more about it. It’s crazy that they was trying to bring him down like he was doing what Jerry was doing.

Maybe he was naive!!!! I’m not a Penn State person but if you dig around people in press act like Joe & Jerry Sandusky were best friends & thats totally not the case.
What I think took place during game preparation was Sandusky ran the defense & their meetings & if you know anything about Football I think Joe would just stick his head in the meeting room to make sure the game plan was ready for Saturday & how the press turned that into them being best friends I won’t know.
Sandusky is a sicko who will burn in hell & I think Joe made errors not doing more but for a period was probably in denial to himself like this can’t be happen when obviously it was.

Only two (2) National Championships in 46 years as Penn State Head Coach? Did I hear that correctly? I would’ve thought a revered all-time great head coach like Joe Pa would’ve won at least 3 or 4 National titles over a 46-year career, if not more.

@Patrick Gray Paterno ran that university. He had an office down the hall from the molester years after he went to the appropriate leaders. This fraud shold have went back and asked what is being done with that piece of garbage. Nope, turned a blind eye to protect the image of the program. Paterno can rot in his grave.
