The thumbnail might be a little off
What I found helped me the most cutting time from my 2 mile is just focus on cutting time from the first mile. Once that gets comfortable, the second one will finish itself. Once you’re running both, 16 minutes become 14 in no time. Also running form is really important. It’s basically cheat codes.
Just imagine an 8 foot 6 man jogging at you menacingly at the park, must be terrifying for bystanders lol
