Happy birthday Tafari the aardvark!

🎂 To celebrate his third birthday, keepers treated Tafari to an “insect cake”. ⁠

🐜 Made up of insect powder, banana and topped with a number three made out of butternut squash, the cake may not be to your taste, but was a delicious snack for this desert-dweller. ⁠

🐾 Aardvarks have quite an appetite, as they can eat approximately 50,000 ants or termites in a single day!
