We heard from Dr. Amany Asfour, CEO of the Africa Business Council, who discussed the importance of forging a closer relationship between Africa and the Caribbean to bolster trade within both regions. She emphasized the role of the Africa Business Council in facilitating this growth within the framework of Global Africa, as well as the opportunities presented by the abundance of natural resources in both regions. She also underlined the Africa Business Council's commitment to supporting the implementation of these opportunities, particularly within CARICOM nations and the Council's additional focus on women's empowerment.
