He's right about the chargelot being faster, but he messed up the numbers. Slow lings off creep have 4.13 movespeed, not 5.13 like he said. (Chargelots have 4.725.)

He kinda plays with the mindset of "trying to create an interresting and even game, hopefully extract a tonne of salt in the meantime" and not "i'm gonna win this game as efficiently as possible". I even saw him surrender a game against a victim cos he was winning too fast "nobody wants to see a Florencio game that is only 4 minutes"

Yo I think Florencio was building up larva and resources to mass all those zerglings in case a counter attack happened, which is much easier than perfect macro while also microing burrow and everything. Not perfect but it was kind of a 4D chess move

Just got back into StarCraft recently after playing pretty close to the release of HotS. I'm actually taking the time to get better and try out some ranked this year. But I'm noticing a pretty lower player count. I also googled it and see no mention of a SC 3 being developed at all. Is the franchise dead? is it even worth putting in the time to get better?

ya florencio doesent want to kill his opponents quickly or efficently. he wants to give them a bit of hope so the despair is so much sweeter when he harvests.
Yes the macro would make this lethal obviously but I think he could/should have utilized the regen of burrowed roaches far more. Without too insane micro that could have easily been a few hundred HP more and with such little armies that makes a big difference Also unless I got brain lag or something you said 4.72 is "quite a bit faster" than 5.13
