I have to say I love your readings. In my almost 65 years of life, Kenney Illinois hasn't been much more than bars and stripper joints. I've never heard of any big foots but then again no one believed my bestfriend that there were cougars in the area either. 😉
I had a scary experience when I was younger, when I was with my mother, father, sister, and myself on a trip of the shenandoah mountains in west Virginia in 1998. I was 12 years old and the whole drive up there from our home in Maryland my father kept telling the story of "the goat man". My father had a fascination with scaring me for some reason but I fed into it by sneaking into the living room when he was watching horror movies like nightmare on elm street 3 which scared me the most, as well as "the thing" by John carpenter, and of course the long music video of thriller which I watched from under a side table in the living room without my dad knowing which scared the piss out of me. So after all of that I had seen a lot of things that scared me, but there was one night where my family was eating at a restaurant at about 9pm in the Shenandoah valley and the story of the goat man was brought up by my father about how a couple was driving through the mountains until they came across something walking across the road, so they stopped to make sure it wasn't a lost person or someone that needed help. I won't get into that whole story of what my father said was the goat man. But later that night we were back at our cottage which was in the mountain and had no electricity, only candle light and 1 single phone that had a connection to the outside world. When it was getting late, at about to 1am we started hearing tapping on the outside walls of the cabin. Separated by about 20 seconds or so on each side. With that time I believe it could be one person tapping hardly than running to the next side and doing the same again to each side over and over and over again. But without having any electricity there was so lights or anything to see what it could be. My father said it could be tree branches hitting the siding from wind, but it wasn't windy from what I can remember and it was happening in almost a mathematical timing to each side. I really want to say it was 20nseconds but I am a lot older now and it's very hard to remember. The last thing that I remember was the SLAMMING of the top of the recycle bin and running to the window where we could see the bin we saw the too half of what looked like a big man in like a down filled puffy black jacket, jumping down the hill behind the cabin. My father made us stay right where we were and not move or make a sound. We heard a loud baboon time cackling or whatever you would call that whooping time belligerent sound. Considering how well we could hear it inside the cabin means that outside it could have been ear piercing. We all stayed up the rest of the night together in the living room by the fireplace talking about what we thinked happened. Of course my father fell asleep after like 20 mins because he can literally sleep through anything. All in all, the stories I heard that night and the events that happened absolutely made me a believer but BUT I never ever want to see what that thing looked like in the face. I really think that would have traumatized me for a long time. Just seeing the shoulders and back of the head was enough to know it wasn't a bear, but I am glad I never had to see it turn around and look at us in the face.
Great first story! Sounds kind of familiar. Hmmm... *😉* Thanks for keeping true to the original story, Mr. Sinister. You are a man of your word ! Keep up the good work.

I’ve spent time In the woods off and on most of my life,/and I have never seen anything strange in all that time Until this year in the summer. I was at a faintly lit skatepark that was lined by thick forest. I was alone at the time and I’d say it was about 1130 pm. Mine was the only car in the parking lot and I hadn’t seen anyone else in the 30 mins I’d been there. It is a little on the spooky side as there no light whatsoever past the tree line, and is a bit out of the way in general. All of a sudden the silence is broken by a huge snapping sound just beyond the tree line. I can only describe it by saying it sounded as if someone had a massive bundle of sticks and snapped it in half. I can’t convey the sheer volume of this sound. I thought about it at the time. It Couldn’t have been a tree falling. There was no thud, and no gradually falling sound. The noise was concentrated into one sharp snap. Again it was unbelievably loud. The weather was clear. It’ was dead silent before and after. No wind and no recent bad weather. I honestly cannot account for what it was. I’m not sure what could naturally cause that sound. I m not saying it was a Sasquatch, but I got the distinct impression that I was not welcome. I left in short order. Anyone heard anything like this ?
Um no... I live in central Illinois in the middle of bum fuck nowhere and I’ve never heard anyone say Crik. In none of the towns I’ve lived it. Only in a sarcastic way.
