In addition to personal ambition, pride and self-centeredness, may I suggest that leaning on our own understanding is another attribute of mankind which needs to be crucified.
I’m in spiritual war fare for 10 years separated from children for 6 years my daughter has multiple personalities the church I was in I couldn’t get any help I pray that someone leds him to the bible didn’t know much of bible when I got baptized I was grieving the Holy Spirit I went through a terrible loss terrible death (nephew loved him like my own) didn’t realize I was hanging on to pride it took his death to let go of any pride I had. My life and children were in the devils hand 10 years. I believe in the power of prayer in Jesus Christ name. I have no support please pray for us!!!

We are saved by grace of Christ! Please pray for me and my children! I’m a sinner in need of Christ!! I trust in God and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. God please hear my prayers. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m struggling to buy their school supplies. Catholics say Lucifer refused God's plan for human salvation with Jesus taking the nature of man that was below the rank of Creation. Whereas DP says instead Lucifer became proud of himself and wanted to be like God.
These are 2 different doctrines.
The difference is what DP states is directly from the Bible, which is Isaiah 14: vs 12-14. Lucifer did indeed reject not only what God said but rebelled against God and wanted to sit on the throne of Heaven himself..that's why our Lord thrust him out of Heaven to earth..an incomplete message with just a little twist or omission is exactly how lucifer (now satan) tricks people into believing the lie just like he did Adam and Eve..read the Word of God for yourself and study it ..
Jesus did what he did, by taking on the form of man in order to pay the required price, once and for all, for our sin. Hebrews 9:26
Any doctrine that does not line up with the Bible is not from God and is a false doctrine taught by demons and leads many astray.. 1 Tim 4:1-2 and verse 16..We must remember, lucifer knows the Scriptures better than we do and knows very well how to twist them..that is also the reason why Jesus said Holy Spirit was being sent after He ascended and would teach us all things necessary..being Born again like Jesus said is paramount!
@@memaw4676 I started studying the Bible since 4 years only ; I followed many preaching by D Prince, but started to study Catholic catechesis in parallel to have a deeper insight about certain doctrinal aspects of Christian theology.
It's important to keep in mind, tradition kept initially an important place in pursuing Jesus' Ministry by the early Church, since most of the New Testament wasn't compiled and translated before the IV th Century on a scriptural form. Therefore even today, tradition & especially oral tradition keeps a major place for Catholics. Reformation didn't broke up before the XVI th Century.
I know already the passages you're referring at in Isaiah that is completed by Luke 10:17-20 : Pride was the reason of Lucifer's fall, becoming Satan.
But Catholics say Lucifer was an Archangel ; thus a spiritual being.
And a spirit has a will. They say Lucifer sinned through his will in the spirit against the Holy Spirit. And no one tempted Lucifer (in contrary to Eve). They say Lucifer opposed God's plan of incarnation for salvation of humanity (Non Serviam). Since human beings were placed below angels according to the order of the Kingdom of Heaven. But this locution appears only in Jeremiah 2:20 and in another context.
Likewise for the other angels that followed him and who sinned twice against the Holy Spirit by pride & jealousy.
@@memaw4676 Another interesting aspect about Catholic catechesis for adults is what they teach about the human soul that is presented on a different aspect than D Prince does in his teachings. Therefore studying the Bible without exegesis and contextual analysis might become very challenging.
For example, Catholics divide the human soul into 2 main parts : a sensitive and a spiritual level. With each level distinguishing knowledge and love operations depending on a relationship between a subject in regards to an object or an object towards a subject.
Hence, On a spiritual level, knowledge is performed through intelligence and represents the impact of an object on a subject. And love represents the action of a subject towards an object through the will.
Likewise, on a sensitive level, knowledge is performed through the senses and represents the impact of an material object on a subject. And love represents the action of a subject towards an object through the emotions (meaning the ability to be carried towards or away from a sensitive good that is affecting our passions by our reactions).
Whereas D prince speaks about the Spirit, the Soul and the Body by pointing out the soul represents our will (I want), our intellect (I think) and our emotions (I feel).
But he doesn't engage on a deeper analysis about human passions related to the human soul. In this aspect, Aristotle presented 2 main categories of passions to understand how the human soul reacts towards sensitive goods/objects ; the concupiscible and irascible passions that are affecting constantly the human soul. And how to deal with them.
And by understanding how the human soul is structured, it allows us to see at which level disorder occurs in our human nature since our intelligence should command our will, the will our passions and the passions should take control over our body. and not the other way up.
The adamic nature is corrupt ; therefore the human being has lost its integrity that can be partially restored by the redemption work of Christ through God's Grace.
Therefore that's why Catholics explain, since Adam and Eve were originally perfectly ordered through the gift of integrity, sin occurred between God and their intelligence. It was a sin in their spirit against the Spirit of God. It was a rebellious sin that departed from their intelligence against God.
Here again there is a contradiction or difference between D Prince teachings and Catholic doctrines, since Catholics consider Adam & Eve couldn't have sinned in the flesh due to the integrity of their nature. Whereas D prince said, Eve was tempted through the lusts of the eye, the flesh and pride by comparing her with Jesus' temptations in the Wilderness to which He resisted.

Most people regard themselves as being in control of their mental faculties, they have a reasonable concept of what is, or should be, acceptable behavior by members of the human race.
When we hear of atrocities committed by individuals or groups, public massacres, bombings, school shootings etc. we are usually shocked then outraged, feelings turn to revenge for the perpetrators regardless of what was in their minds at the time of the incidents, this is a very normal reaction.
But when the crime is committed by God then the reaction is different. When you read accounts of mass murder in your bible (which is supposed to be the word of God) then it's usually the fault of the victims and they deserved to be murdered.
If the reasoning in the minds of school shooters or public executioners is that the people they murdered were all bad we would regard that person as being completely and totally insane. Yet God gets away with it, Christians would never accept the premise that their God is as mad as a March hare.
He supposedly wiped out the whole population of the Earth because he determined they were bad and this is accepted as normal behavior by the majority of Christians. What double standards the Christian fraternity have. Within the populations of any large group of people there will always be a small minority who are totally bad, most people just want to live their lives without hurting anyone. If the policies of the leaders are seen as bad, E.G. child sacrifice then surely this loving compassionate God would find it within his powers to punish the leaders and perpetrators rather than murder everybody on the planet.
Your God is just as bad as anybody committing mass murder in our modern society. It's time we brought God to account within our own minds and discarded every aspect of this evil Christian religion.
Christianity is not evil/it is the heart of man.Tell me who taught your child to lie/cheat/or steal/did you or me/no the child was born with a sin nature already. Think about sin and its destruction and then think about how God came to us by the Cross to sacrifice Himself for us.Cruel /not so much.
