As much as I enjoyed the first Alan Wake, this game was a HARD improvement.
And anyone who calls it a “walking simulator” needs a good kick in the sack
Man this makes me really want to finish the first game and pick up the second. It seems like Remedy really let their artistic vision go wild, which is very fitting given your analysis of the game relating to the endeavors of artists.
Yeah, I was just blown away by the artistic quality of the game. Remedy had a singular vision for Alan Wake 2 and they were able to take all the diverse elements this game offers and use it to serve that vision. I can just feel the passion and hard work that went into creating this project. I'm so vocal about my support for Alan Wake 2, because I want to support developers that clearly care about the product they put out and push the gaming medium forward. Despite Remedy being around for awhile now, they're still heavily underrated and still struggle a bit when it comes to sales numbers.
You've convinced me to buy this game. Plus I need a pallette cleanser after the disappointment of Spider-Man 2. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah, Alan Wake 2 and Remedy Games as a whole are badly underrated.
This game was actually my introduction of Alan Wake, I knew nothing about the lore going into this new chapter and yet I STILL enjoy it and got hooked on the concepts, aesthetic, characters and storyline instantly. It's permanantly a Sci-fi classic in my book. Also Alan is hot. 11/10.
Yeah, Alan Wake 2 is heavily underrated. I love everything about this game. And yeah, Ikka Villi is a handsome man lol.
@@Ranni hehe XD
Great video, mate!
The barrage of thoughtful analysis like this that this game is going to inspire... I'm very excited about that stuff
Hey Ranni, another great video! I've never played an Allen Wake game, but you've now got me hooked. Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it!
i have played Alan Wake, and boy that was a fun experience!!
as always another great video with awesome editing, awesome video overall and awesome thumbnail! keep it up! 😎
Thanks Skeptic! Appreciate it!
@@Ranni no problem! btw Im gonna return to discord again soon.
When you find this confussing, than you propably didn't play Control. At the beginning the game literally tells you that it gone be weird.
But AW 2 is really spectular as nd amazing. It was so munch fun. And it is unique, that why I love Remedy games.
And don't be to harsh to people how don't like it. It isn't for everyone. But for the people how like it, it is a hell of ride.
PS: The enemy doge, if you long enough aim at them. Just a litle detail I noticed.
It’s still pretty new. So underrated is a lil too soon. Thankfully a lot of people are now looking into this and playing it.
When it came out I thought it was the game to play (as in all streamers playing) but not so much but dam there’s still a lot of buzz around it. And since the vgas and when the dlc comes out I’m hoping it’ll grow even more
💯
Narration was good
Thank you!
This feels familiar
This game is the Bioshock Infinite of 2023. It's a fine game that has a gimmick that hides how middling of a gameplay experience it is and makes it loved on a surface level in the short term. 10 years from now, it'll either be forgotten or derided for how mediocre it always truly was
What an objectively bad take. Yikes.
Alan Wake 1 realized at time of BioShock 2 and is still beloved today. And Alan Wake 2 is a better game than Alan Wake 1.
