Tho this song has an uplifting beat, i cried when i saw the mv because i felt close to them, i related because I’ve been going thrit and truly it’s only me who has to first believe me and bet on me❤ always love ur videos ❤❤
Personally I loved "Bet On Me" so much. First bcuz of the lyrics but also because it represents the members struggles (for example for Yuna there were pics behind her from Sneakers and BLY era where they and especially she got hated a lot). While the other members struggle, Yeji is the only one always running which is a sign for me that she needs to help her members and needs to be there for her members especially as the oldest and the leader. I also really liked the ending as it shows that Itzy is trying to move on from their past eras and just continue running and not let them stop from the negative comments and hate. I was so mad at JYPE for not putting the song on any musical streaming platforms and that we had to wait almost a whole month. It's definitely one of my favorite songs on the albums!!
IT's all era Yuna photos on the train. It represents how she is under constant pressure to look beautiful and do better and look better than her last photos. It has nothing to do with haters. I don't know why these false narratives spreaed among English speaknig western fans. When she has already done interviews explaining what it represents. You guys still post this confidently like you know what you are talking about and get it 100% wrong. Yeji runs from the start because that is how she copes with her stress and doubts, she exercises, and she believes in pushing forward no matter what. They don't help each other, they help themselves. It has nothing to do with her being the "leader" again they gave interviews about this it seems you didn't watch any of them. They covered it in the showcase as well. You were so busy being toxic mad at JYPE for bullshit. They had the songs on YT Music EXCLUSIVELY until the album was released that was their deal. Are you even a fan, you seem badly informed from the start. The instant these songs released they went on YT music. You didn't have to wait.
@@Yetti. The context in comment is incorrect. False fan theory based on what they think it should represent. English speaking fans still repeat the BS that Sneakers made ITZY doubt themselves when factually it was their best charting song since dalla dalla, and best selling album ever at the time.
@incheonguy - Are you always this antagonistic to other fans? Winter is entitled to their interpretation and isn’t far off to begin with. Are you suggesting Yuna has never received hate? That the very pressure you describe doesn’t revolve around criticism over her looks? You say yourself that Yenji is running to cope with stress and self doubt. Is it that difficult to imagine the weight of responsibility resting on her shoulders as leader? That if the team fails, questioning if she could have done more? What do you mean “they don’t help each other, they help themselves?” Granted, believing in oneself is part of the message but you can clearly see the girls grabbing each other’s hand and pulling the others along. They find themselves, lift each other up, and run together united in the end. Suggesting people aren’t true fans was pretty rude. Despite what you might think, you aren’t the gatekeeper of Itzy.
yess ive been missing your Itzy reactions so bad, i really enjoy this comeback, had to listen a couple times but now the songs just get better and better
YES UR BACK IM SO HAPPY I MISSED YOUR REACTIONS SO MUCHA ND WAS WORRIED SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOU, hope you are ok now! Also could i recommend reacting to izone?
You kind of got it correct with the interpretation..it’s basically the girls overcoming their own doubts, pressure, expectations, fears, and the outside noises of being idols. Yeji has been running from the very beginning, but as another comment said..Yeji has said she exercises to release her stress/anxiety. But she never lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel and she is laser focused to overcoming it. Lia’s scene is well she’s in the box.. you see her going through boxes in her home. She sees a box that is double wrapped/taped and as she rips out the paper and tape..you see Lia inside the box shaking and moving around. When Lia finally opens the box she sees herself looking up at her. Ryujin as you said locks herself in her room..not wanting to face the outside world. She’s in a fragile state of mind and as the song said..alone with her doubts and fears. She eventually gather the courage to open the door and face the world and RUN. For Chae, I don’t think it’s specifically about dancing. I think it’s just the many different images of a happy and free spirited person, but deep down she is struggling and having doubts in herself. However, like the others she overcomes it and RUNS with her members. Yuna is in a train filled with all her pictures from different ITZY eras. Again…dealing with the pressures of stress of being an artist/group in K-POP. The feeling of just being either praised or criticized and feeling suffocated in your fame is not fun. But you see the girls coming in a running with her and for a while she’s happy. Then she stops and becomes hesitant/doubtful to follow them. She also eventually gets to courage to run alongside with them too. So the message here is indeed CHOOSE YOU.. BET ON YOURSELF.. BELIEVE/TRUST IN YOURSELF. Also, for ITZY..they are still there for each other and will always run to the light growing stronger together. ❤️
I know I sent half the video drooling over Lia - and I DO NOT apologise 😂
