I bet if you break it into a few small pieces then it would be possible to leave the pieces at the tail while keeping the lure's action.

They’ll fly out on the cast.

The way I look at it is how much per lb is red fish or any salt fish
.I do agree about the t
Bait, 1 fish per bait is a total win brother

What was the name and brand of that hollow paddle tail Mike? I use fish bites all the time for surf fishing and they work great, never thought to use them inside a paddle tail. I’m up for trying it out.

8 miles easy, 4 of them at the highest speed setting. I’ve never run out of juice.

What kind of rod do you use to put in the scupper hole?

ohhhh interesting. What a neat idea of how to use the fishbites. I have never even used them yet, but yah that is a cool idea to stuff a sliver of it it into the hollow body paddletail. I am curious if MDLR had that idea himself or if he saw it somewhere else first? Definitely the first time I have ever seen it. And heck, lol I didn’t even know that those kinds of hollowbody paddletails existed due to my low experience level.

Say Mark, I have a general question about paddle tails. Do they work best or intended for shallower/calmer water vs fishing the surf in the guts?

I mainly use them for calm waters.

Popping corks and bait casters don’t mix well
