Yeah the winding on PT5000 movements is a little bit stiffer, but the first one I had was stiffer than it should have been. It was mainly the crown being really difficult to screw back down that was the issue though. I'm glad yours is alright though. How long have you had it?

I really like the sapphire bezels, they do change the overall look of the watch in a nice way IMO. Love the Christmas themed review as well!! You and yours have a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year as well my dude!!
I'd love for them to make a homage of the non diver variation of this watch, with the plain steel bezel and the larger integrated chapter ring...... It has even more of a unique, modern iconic look. That's not a knock though this is a great looking watch! They didn't quite capture the rich blues that turn black at many angles of the original though. They won't likely try another because this one hasn't caught on as well as it deserves to though .... From the number of sales on AliExpress and the lack of much coverage on RUclips and elsewhere..... As Far as I can tell.
It's definitely on the more expensive side of AliExpress watches. But when compared to microbrands or even the big brands it's still good value I think.

@@rimas.kalpokas In this case, they made it better by scaling it down to 42mm. The Original Aquatimer was a pigfat wrist bludgeon with a case diameter of 44mm and more than 10x the price of this Hruodland.

It's an IWC Aquatimer homage, it sharing design cues and probably parts with those other Chinese brands is probably due to being made in the same places

Great review, Thanks for showing this watch. I fell in love with the blue "Aquatimer. The PT5000 version is over $420 Canadian, $120 more for the SW200...just outside of my price range currently. Perhaps tax time...sigh.
I forgot to mention that in the video... I had to push them halfway and then pull them out with pliers. They use a pin and collar system which is pretty tight.

I've just measured it again now. The case is actually 41mm, but the bezel design makes it more like 42mm.

It would be nice if it was 39/38mm. But 42mm it's to big for a watch
With a lug to lug of only 47mm though, it wears smaller than the 42mm diameter would suggest.
