We have these in the U.S. too and they are great for supporting local farmers and crafters. Delicious produce, jams, trinkets, etc. And the people are always so lovely. Thank you for such a wonderful build!
I have a couple of disabled parking sports that I made for my own game that I have saved as rooms, there is a 3x3 with just the wheelchair icon, a 5x3 or maybe 5x5 with just the icon and a 5x3 or 5x5, can't remember which, with a P as well as the icon. If anyone is interested in them I am happy to upload them to the gallery. They were a pig to make! I used the pool lines - straight and corner ones for them. They're not perfect but nice to add to a community lot car park. I've sent you images on Bluesky. Love the build by the way - we have similar in Dorset.
I love your sims videos so much!! I love the Britishness to them as well all the other creators I watch who do building are American/Australian and it’s so nice to watch your builds they’re so comforting and nostalgic !!
I can’t wait for the Victorian school turned into apartment build! ❤ I live in an apartment that was previously a school. I absolutely love all of your videos. Thank you for all of your hard work.
Gloucester service station is my favourite too. It looks like it should be placed in Hobbiton with it's grass roof. I love they have their own bee hives too. Wish there were more service stations like that. Love this! Thanks Aden x
Have fun in Amsterdam!! Maybe you can build us a Amsterdam coffeeshop when you return, that was one of my favorite parts when I visited lol, besides the architecture of course
My day is now complete 💕 I think those fizzy drinks you added to the store area might go bad. At least I seem to remember using them in one of my builds before and they expired =) This place is very cozy looking!
What a lovely build, i was so looking forward to this one. And thanks you so much for putting it on the gallery ♥♥♥ Also could you put up the tiny gate house, Victorian Graveyard, and ruined church hangout on the gallery, been waiting for those 🙏
Thank you for yet another awesome build video. You are Sooo relaxing to watch. I needed that! EA was smart to give You a Bucket List! You are perfect for that!!!
Hey Aden and anyone out there who lives in the UK. We are planning a trip to the UK (from Australia) to visit our daughter who is working in Manchester. We plan to go in May and travel around by car and train. Inspired by Aden (and my Husand’s love of Poldark), we are planning on spending about a week in Cornwall and Devon and would love to know any key places to visit. Are AirBnB’s a good accomodation choice? Is it easy to drive around? how long should we spend in the area? We are actually planning on flying to Paris first and meeting our daughter there. Then we will travel on the Eurostar to London. So we will plan on travelling by car from London to Cornwall. We will also be spending time in and around Manchester and also plan on doing a self drive in Scotland. Any must do’s or don’t would be welcome. Btw, love this build. We might have to visit Gloucester on our tours :)
I live in the South West of England and I’ve visited Cornwall/Devon quite a few times. Always stayed at AirBnBs, they are miles better than hotels. Driving can be a bit tricky if you aren’t on a main road. Lots of very small country roads and you will most definitely have to back up for tractors and parking is always difficult as there are quite a lot of tourists, but if you’re going in May then you might have more luck. When I was a kid I went to Babbacombe model village (Devon) and have been meaning to go back ever since. Highly recommend if you like a bit of whimsy.
The trains in Southern England, and Wales, are by far the most punctual and less busy than anything crawling out of London and going north to Scotland. My sister and I did a crazy tour of the entire island last year and we sincerely enjoyed the calmness of the South (and the North in Scotland) more than anywhere. The Devon train station is a gem, we enjoyed charcuterie and the lush scenery. Air BnBs are excellent around there and we found them very accommodating.
@@ZiggyonMars thank you! I’ll make a note of your suggestion for Babbacombe. I been reading about the tricks of driving on the country roads it does seem a little daunting. We will have to consider that. Again thanks for your response.
@@mcbeenerd Thanks for your response. Maybe we should just consider trains instead of driving around? Devon train station now on my list of places to go :)
We have Farmers' Markets in my province too but they are typically unaffordable to most regular people, me included, as they pride themselves on being niche and local - all fantastic things but it outprices most families and younger folk. This is in central Canada btw, and the irony is that we're surrounded by farms but can't afford farm fresh produce. Sigh. For example, a pack of smoked salmon that I bought in Leven, Scotland cost me about 1 pound/$3 Canadian, where as here, the same small individual pack costs 8 pounds/$14 Canadian (at the lowest). I really wish my country, my vast and beautiful country, could get its sh*t together....
Did the Maine build you did for the google earth ever get uploaded? I fell in love with it (as I did with Maine in general), and I've been dying to put it in my game since you built it!
oh my goodness, the detail!! please let us have multi-use lots one day, sims team 😭

Gloucester service station!! Always have to stop there when we pass by to take a look at all the gorgeous bits and bobs.
the sheer number of bottles and jars you put in this build must have taken you ages! awesome job, Aden! love it!
Omg as an equestrian who goes to places like this a lot I absolutely love this but also can’t believe I haven’t built this in my sims!
I can't believe how much this looks like a little shop near me. I've always admired it too. Sweet ♥

We have these exact same stores in rural-ish and rural areas in the US! Might have a couple coolers to sell fresh milk and goat cheese too.
Have fun in Amsterdam!! Maybe you can build us a Amsterdam coffeeshop when you return, that was one of my favorite parts when I visited lol, besides the architecture of course
