"chiptunes and divorce" - Perfect. I get major Adult Swim vibes from this in the absolute best way. This is an inspired and outstanding format, and I can tell it was a labor of love. And holy shit is this so well put together. Thank you for making this.
Damn dude, i want every little fragment of a song that you made to showcase this module to be a full song! Absolutely gorgeous work. I love these videos too, truly works of multimedia art.
I know you put your time and talent into all of your videos, but this one is so crazy creative and informative- I can’t imagine the time it took to put this together. So good - thanks Jeremy. I picked up my Pianophonic today.
Wow, that was surprisingly entertaining. Loved the interactions of the synth (incl. the irish accent of the Fairlight) AAAND the fabulous solo section of the Pianophonic.
This is absolutely brilliant! First time I’ve seen a hilarious comedy with synths 😅 On top of that… a very nice sounding Pianophonic! Congrats to everyone involved here!
I love this anthropomorphisation and the emu chatting happily in Shakuhachi hits absolutely sends me 😂 shame about Moog, we hardly knew ye, but glad you got Imogen to guest
@@RedMeansRecording maybe that's the perspective I need to take with these. I've been divesting from most of my non-modular gear because of space constraints so maybe this is exactly the sort of format I need more of.
Pianophonic is easily the coolest module I have seen in a really long time, and I will begin saving my pennies for one forthwith. Also, I would have told Pianoteq that he was a gatekeeping prick, that he could suck my big hairy patch cable, and I would have gone outside with Moog (requiescat in pace) and VL1. Also also, my wife who is trained in group therapy suggested that Orb needs to be replace with an actual licensed social worker.
Sounds great, but why is there so little cv-controll? Might as well be some desktop-thing. This seems to be a midi soundmodule that happens to be powered by a eurorack case. Or am I missing something?
So, uhm, I assume the therapy isn't working? Entertaining, and a wonderfully inventive way of demonstrating a piece of hardware. Kudos. And thanks for ending it with one of my fave top five songs of all time. Keep it coming! (p.s. I assume the hallucinogens {the substances, not the band} are working better than the therapy is...)
Hah, this was hilariously entertaining. More! Although I do wish they'd release this as a desktop synth. It doesn't really make any sense as a eurorack module to me. I have a pile of modular gear and I don't see any place for it in there, but on my desk it could have a nice home.
AMAZING, JEREMY. QUALITY WORK. (Although I anticipated the PPG Wave "sucking at transients" bit to segue to its emotional support animal, the PPG Waveterm programmer / sequencer / PCM sample player. 😭😭😭 Alas.)
Video is killer. Conceptually, the module is great, a sort of hybridizing of physical modeling concepts with wavetables. More dynamic than sample based or straight synthesis attempts at piano. However, Eurorack is an odd format for it. I know Knobula doesn’t make keyboard synths, but this thing in a keyboard, double the voices, nice Fatar 49-61 keybed with AT, a slew of modulation and effects on board, that would be killer.
can we get an f in the chat for moog :(

I just witnessed the birth of a new synth tube genre. Congratulations Jeremy, you’ve done it again.
Weekly, on a Sunday, like the Muppets used to be please, before bath time
I feel like PIANOTEQ was always on the brink of telling someone they have plugin ears.
Way to go Jeremy, you broke the link, they're all sold out, every single one of them.
Absolutely GOD-TIER product review. Holy crap, this was so good!
I can only imagine how much time and work went into this
This is the best "demo" Ive experienced. However long this took to make is all worth it. Very clever and funny. I hope for a support group series.
"chiptunes and divorce" - Perfect.

You’re a wildly creative soul. The further out you go, the more we see you and that person is just brill. ❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Verrrrrrry true words here!!!! Fully agree! No one comes close! New art form!
Most entertaining product demo I've ever seen! Bravo. Never thought I'd see the south park of keyboards lol
Damn dude, i want every little fragment of a song that you made to showcase this module to be a full song! Absolutely gorgeous work. I love these videos too, truly works of multimedia art.
I second this^. I felt that way so many times during the video
yeah i heard a few indie video game soundtracks in there A+
Holy crap squared. You made that module sing, and I absolutely loved the video concept.
Dude, I don't know if I have ever heard anyone cover Enya...
That was really good Red, probably one of your best videos ever.
I know you put your time and talent into all of your videos, but this one is so crazy creative and informative- I can’t imagine the time it took to put this together. So good - thanks Jeremy. I picked up my Pianophonic today.
This absolutely insane and/or genius, and I love it.
I've never laughed so hard at a product review in my life, very well done, love your creativity.
oMg this was incredible… best RmR video yet 😂 And a great demo of the module too!
Your creativity with demoing new products is so delightful, funny, and inspirational. Keep up the fantastic work, Jeremy
This intro is unhinged, I love it 😂 got my Pianophonic in the mail a few days ago after a very long wait. Excited to plug it up soon!
@red Whatever you were paid for this, it wasn't nearly enough. This is Genius.
I can't believed I watched this module review for 20 minutes. What the heck man, this is a masterpiece.
Congratulations, you’ve won the Most Fabulously Quirky Demo Video Award! 🥳 That’s MFQDVA in short. Ferking love your new style. :D
Best South Park episode EVER!
Your creativity and effort are criminally under appreciated
I don't own any eurorack or planning to buy but I kept watching for the plot. Looking forward to the samplers' convention episode :P
Some people have way too much time on their hands, but RMR has the exact right amount of time.
Absolutely love the fantastic humor you bring to a surprisingly informative video. And dammit...now I need to get one of these...
Well, now we know who really killed Moog.
MoooOOOoooog
Wow, that was surprisingly entertaining. Loved the interactions of the synth (incl. the irish accent of the Fairlight) AAAND the fabulous solo section of the Pianophonic.
This is hilarious man. And the module sounds great. You so clever.
That shit was hilarious. Well done. And what an awesome module!
Perfect Circuit: SOLD OUT! Video seems to be working...
To be fair I think it was sold out like halfway through the video? I think maybe they just had bad stock
A modular demo, But as sketch comedy 10/10. I'll be sharing this with my friends who know nothing about synthesis
I can’t justify this beauty in my little rack, but this video brought me so much joy that I will treat myself to buying another RMR sample pack 😊
"I sound like chiptunes and divorce" probably made a few people pause and stare into the void for a while 🙃
wow! absolutely brilliant demo! nice to see some new ideas and not just people rehashing the same couple video styles over and over
"Oh look at me, I have patch cables and a low pass filter. I sound like chiptunes and divorce." cut me to the quick.
strangely compelling, while also being exceptionally informative. Why can't all modular reviews be like this?
⭕
Astounding. And the module is cool too.
I have no words for how great this was ❤🔥🫡💪🏼
And the winner of synthtube video of the decade goes to... RMR!
Holy crap dude, this video is pure art! The module is cool but this was entertaining as hell!
Omg I love this video. So touching. The last ~1 minute of this video especially.
The montage of unique instruments was so beautiful too.
Chip tunes and divorce ftw
I'm not sure my caffeine intake was sufficient to keep up with this, but I'm here for it.
Hahaha this is just absolutely amazing! Thank you Jeremy!
Love the humor, culture and creativity you bring to your videos. You are a masterclass act finding reason in our quirky knob loving abyss.
This is an awesome video. My Pianophonic is hella buggy with CV, but it's nice to see what it can sound like once it gets all cleaned up
That damned modular madness makes people do the thing
This is absolutely brilliant! First time I’ve seen a hilarious comedy with synths 😅 On top of that… a very nice sounding Pianophonic! Congrats to everyone involved here!
This might be the best synth video I’ve ever watched.
Jorb is having an existential crises.
This channel is a goddamn gift.
Jeremy. I had a mouthful of water at 17:12. You were very close to owing me a new keyboard. I was not ready.
Get a water proof keyboard
@@RedMeansRecording yeah, this one is on me.
Clever video, nice job!
This was so original and entertaining. Great work!
That ending (and the rest of the video) was the perfect eat to wrap up my weekend
This video was seven different things, and it was amazing at being all of those things.
wtf, Pianoteq is played by Liam Neeson? And he's going around menacing innocent Moogs again. Taken-vibes.
this video is an absolute banger
You won me with this.
This makes the third Eurorack module I really like. This is how it starts, isn't it? I should stop watching these.
"I sound like chiptunes and divorce" -- a few seconds earlier and I'd have spewed coffee all over my laptop
Moooooooooooog!
This is pure madness, I love it, thank you Jeremy ❤
Popped a cap even! Lol. Wonderful vid Jeremy.
I'll miss you moog ;[
Jeremy. Genius.
I think this is the most entertaining synth video i have ever watched
pretty green eyes in my head now. thanks emulator
So good. More please.
I love this anthropomorphisation and the emu chatting happily in Shakuhachi hits absolutely sends me 😂 shame about Moog, we hardly knew ye, but glad you got Imogen to guest
Seems like a cool module. I just don't quite understand making something in modular format with so little modulation options on the panel.
ive been thinking about it like a desktop synth module that happens to be in eurorack format
@@RedMeansRecording maybe that's the perspective I need to take with these.

@@speed0 house chords module straight up :9

So, uhm, I assume the therapy isn't working?

Keep it coming!

Moog
I'll figure how to play 8 notes poly on modules in a compact space eventually. Because that module sounds really good
I love it when you go full Jeremy
Hah, this was hilariously entertaining. More!

I have a pile of modular gear and I don't see any place for it in there, but on my desk it could have a nice home.
Put it in a pod and use it as a desktop synth. That's what I plan on doing!
Is Orb an impression of Chazz(zzz) from Disenchanted? Is Chazz and Orb reference to some other person?
Anyway, I love this
AMAZING, JEREMY. QUALITY WORK. (Although I anticipated the PPG Wave "sucking at transients" bit to segue to its emotional support animal, the PPG Waveterm programmer / sequencer / PCM sample player. 😭😭😭 Alas.)
lol, the piano beef is so good.
Dude… This is awesome!!
This is one of the funniest synth videos on youtube. Damn I wish I had the money burn for modular.
Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! Fantastic presentation!!!!
Brilliant!
This video is genius. I laughed, cried and learned. Bravo!
"Did somebody say beyblades" Fucking LMAO
wow, this is what the next level looks like!
Genius video
Also really cool module 😲
The bells on the short range of time.

Moog is the Groot of the synth world
lmao love pianophonic having a meltdown
Pianos assemble!
"I was on downward f*ckin spiral"
