What is the total number of seats and in how many of these seats can a international medical graduates enroll given than they have passed their amc exams and have 1-2 years of general practitioner experience in Australia.
hello sir, ive been watching your videos on how to make a successful career in Australia as an IMG and id like to thank you so much for the efforts you put in to make us aware of challenges in real time. im writing AMC1 in April/may this year and hope to clear both AMC 1 and 2 by the end of this year. hopefully everything works out fine!
Sir please make video on what things MBBS 1st year should do to improve CV or interviews!! Please narate complete pathway from 1 st year or from when and where should we start prepare for AMC
They say that Australia is the new destination for imgs but why is the fact that "there are less oppurtunities for imgs and hard to get job " is being hidden or less aware to people !?
Jobs are easy for the right skills and will always be a comparative struggle in whatever country you choose. I went to the uk 🇬🇧 after my internship and struggled for a year … few years experience in the Uk and couple of exams later … no problems in Australia … same happens to qualified and trained people form pakistan 🇵🇰 India 🇮🇳 etc … even us 🇺🇸 despite electives , research in addition to steps chances for IMGs for a match are at 50%
Great work dr rizwan! I'm a 3rd year MBBS from India i just wanted to know what is the possibility of an IMG to get into surgical training? And what all it takes in addition to the basic things to become a surgeon in Australia
Pretty much all things required to do surgery in any western country are similar good completion of basic MBBS, publications, international poster presentations, good clinical experience in chosen speciality, some formal teaching experience like a demonstrator in anatomy, essential critical and surgical courses, excellent references and top that off with amc 1 and 2 or wba atleast 3 years of surgical experience in Australia with full AHPRA registration and permanent residency
Dear Dr Our native country is India. My daughter is now studying UG Degree(MD) 2nd year at University of Perpetual help system Dalta Jonalta foundation school of Medicine in Philippines. She wants to study PG in Australia so she what to do to study PG in Australia after completion of MD. Kindly reply
Assalam o Alaikum Sir. I am a Pakistani student who just got admission in Rawalpindi Medical University this year Alhamdulillah. My classes are just starting. I wanted your guidance on AMC exam. Firstly,There are no Amc exam centres in Pakistan so should i go to China or Turkey to give the exam. Secondly, can a pakistani graduate get job in australia directly after med school and passing AMC part 1 or he should also have prior experience like house job or some work
Hello Dr Rizwan thanks for such content! I have a question can i apply for competitive pathway if i have diploma in cardiology (dip-card); 2years diploma programme in DOW..? Or do i need to go through AMC-1?
Hello sir , is there any preference is job experience while applying for rmo jobs after amc? For example is tertiary care vs primary care. Emergency medicine vs urology. If so which type of job would you recommend?
>80% of IMGs get their first job in RMO General Medicine Rotation or Emergency Medicine. Having 12-24month RMO experience in your own country is highly advisable + procedural skills and life support courses + local clinical observation to get referees. It does not matter for the first job to be in any region, urban, tertiary or district level, the supervision is essentially the same for all IMGs
what a great consultant he looks like, despite seniority and CV, humble and down to earth
An excellent mentor all along 😊
