Hugs to you for all of the stress that you are going through. ❤
Thank you my friend. One day at a time! xoxo
When the kids leave, it definitely is a life style, mind set change and can be very emotional and tough. I think taking your time to decide is the right decision.
Enjoy your summer! Take time to re-lax after a very stressful Spring. Also, I like your current name. Maybe not the time to make another change.🥰
Thank you! You make such a good point. There's been a lot of change this year...Thanks for being here 🥰
So good to hear from you. I'm glad that you are able to take your time and think through the decisions that are in front of you in this new stage of your life. Best to you.
Thank you so much. One day at a time is all we can do 🥰
I’d vote for renting something small in town while you either find a new cottage or upgrade the one you own. You already know you love it there, you’re still working & earning & can put money towards raising the cabin, and I’d just plan on making that your forever home. I commuted an hour each way for about 5 years & you could find ways to make that work. Whatever you guys choose, just take care of yourselves first! I’ll be here whenever you have time to post.
You always have a way of helping things make sense. Thank you for being such a great cheerleader! I appreciate you! xoxo
Also, thank you for being an open book about HRT. I asked my doctor when perimenopause starts and she advised me to talk to my mother about when it happened to her but we are estranged and so I rely on others to guide me. Thank you.
You're very welcome. That's why I'm talking about it. I felt so alone and frustrated. There are options and help for us. My mom passed when she was 52 so I don't have her to ask. I have no idea if she had symptoms. She didn't talk about it at all. I have been sharing with my kids so they aren't blindsided when it happens to them (my daughter and my son's future partner). It's hard on our partners too cause they don't know how to help us...Now I'm able to help my younger sisters which is nice. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for this, Marcia! I feel you, been in menopause for a bit myself, and just wanted to say hang in there! {{{hugs}}}
I’m really looking forward to your shop opening!
Thank you for the kinds words! It's so important we talk about our experiences so we don't feel alone. xoxo
My mom passed away a few years ago before I went into menopause. There are a million things I wish I could ask her. As a result, I've been talking about it to my adult daughters. I felt out of sorts when our older kids started moving out of the house. So much so, that we decided to have another baby so we have kids that range in age from 32-10 😂 I haven't started HRT but I have discussed it as a possibility with my doctor. Thank you for the update.
I wish I could ask my mom questions too! I'm grateful for the knowledge that's being shared now online. OMG a 10 year old. I'm tired just thinking about that 😅 Good luck on your HRT journey!
You’re free birds! Thanks for the chat. I have to talk to my doctor about HRT. Is irritability a symptom of perimenopause? I’ve been so short fused lately all the time.
Ha ha yes. Free birds. Such a weird feeling. Yes irritability is a symptom. There are over 55 symptoms! No wonder we don't know what's happening to us!
