Urdu is already a deeply poetic language, anyone who loves Urdu poetry gets enamored by how beautifully this was written. why don't coke studio ever translate good [poetry accurately??? they do the 'tafseer' of it, rather than the sophistry of the actual words . like trying to gild the lily. they make things more elaborate, when the simple words are actually conveying much more!! dumb people.
Damn, after listening to this again on your reaction I realised I probably underappreciated this one. The shirt does give Spaniard vibes, I think that's the vibe they were going for in this song. Definitely Moorish vibes so this would be a nice listen in a historic Muslin Spain setting

the original song (which i only discovered when i searched for it on youtube after hearing this) is prettier, this version was silly (but fun + theatrical, which is Ali Zafar's specialty, and he makes good use of the Coke Studio format for this, like a musical). also, again, the English translation is truly inaccurate at times, when it could have been much more beautiful, had they translated it accurately. silly people.
