I’ve binge watched it multiple times over the past couple of months and I love it. Love me some Walter Bishop and also love season 5’s villain, Windmark.
i like the wording that Henry was "born to the wrong Olivia Dunham" implying the possibility that Henry's existence isn't necessarily something that was never supposed to happen but rather our Olivia is the one that's supposed to have him
“She is the one. The Olivia Dunham, from whom your shared future was meant to spring. This must be, and everything will be, as it was intended. You must find a way.” 😭😭😭
I know I'm eight years late, but I would guess that September knew in the moment just how much he had interfered. I don't think he wanted to interfere any more than he already did.
@@bosoxdanc1 "Hey doc, btw, your liquid thingy turned from pink to blue... is that supposed to happen?" and bolt outta there, vs. "yo, let's dive into a frozen lake, save a child that is now destined to die here, make a deal with this old fella, keep showing up trying to keep up with this snowballing clusterfuck of events that culminates into a kid being born to the wrong version of your destined love". I feel like the first one would be less interference. Just travel back again right after he left in the first place and point this out. Much less destructive.
Just adding to this recently resurrected conversation - we know the Observers are not omniscient. September explained early on that he sees many many possible futures but doesn't know for sure which one will happen, only which ones are most probable. If they did know with certainty, they'd be unstoppable. So I'd guess that in this moment September had no idea how much he'd fucked up, didn't realize how drastic the butterfly effect from it would be, and likely also saw other potentially drastic scenarios if he intervened further. There's also just the possibility that he should have told Walternate, but didn't because as Walter explained in one episode, their minds work differently so the logic behind their actions is different too. It seems like a simple solution to us, but with the immense amount of data going through September's brain the simplest solution may not have occured to him.
My guess September is the future descendant of Olivia and Peter. He has taken an unusual and warm interest in their relationship which seems unique to any observer.
Henry? and so thats why they called their daughter Henryetta. and Etta because of Ella. this makes total sense and this is what makes this a great show. i will miss fringe
I know what you mean. It seems like the "true" timeline involves the A and B sides meeting peacefully, Peter meeting and falling for Olivia, and then having Henry. It also underlines the conflict between the observers. September wants to fix his mistake by helping the people he hurt, whereas December doesn't care about the people, only a future distant enough that it can be finessed without helping the people.
God, this scene is too much. I think it explains why Peter thinks he's still not in the right timeline. He wants his son back. :( I want to give Peter all the hugs.
If September didn't distract Walternate and he had cured Peter, then Walter wouldn't have taken Peter to this universe. In that case, how was he supposed to end up with this universe's Olivia?
So now we know who/what the Observers are. We just don't know what makes Peter so damn important that September wanted to see Walternate cure him. Why is Peter (and possibly the Peter-Olivia-Henry family line) so special? WHY? I MUST KNOW! I can't wait another 2 weeks!
@vaidehijoshi77 That is a good analysis I would totally buy that scenario because it seems like September sees Peter as family and he cannot bring himself to erase him.
1.Okay that may or not be answered, I just thought Peter was important because he's a paradox. 2.Their are from the future and do know a LOT about time, but they don't know everything that's everything, um so lets say there know what will happen Biff says no to a job, and there also know what will happen if Biff says yes to a job, but there do not know what will Biff chose.
The Observers do have emotions as evidenced in past episodes and in current ones after the invasion. The original 4 (or so) were just here to Observe for whatever reason.
The observers can't know what he will do, because the observers now exist two timelines away from the original timeline. They knew the events of the original timeline, sure, but since event zero the observers have been in unknown territory.
i de believe september wasnt talking about the original timelines olivia at all...peter cant go back....but obbviously he doesnt get that and season 5 is gonna be him realising th fact that this olivia with his oringal olivias memories is "the olivia"
September said "it was important" to witness Walter at that moment, but they never explained that. Why was it important? Was it something Walter was gonna discovered? Any thoughts?
It was an important moment in the timeline where walternate discovers the cure to save Peter. September was fascinated by it and wanted to observe it but walternate noticed him in the lab which distracted him from seeing he had found the cure changing history
Patricio Monzón Battilana para mi que september sentía algo por el grupo fringe. Como que estaba fascinado por ellos. Era importante para él. Sólo quería verlo
The two Peters were ill. Walter's Peter died, Walter-nate found a cure but didn't know it because he was distracted by September. Walter watched this happen with his window that let him see into the parallel universe. This drove Walter to find a way to cross over to save Peter using Walter-nate's cure, but ended up kidnapping him instead. The finding of the cure was a moment in time that was significant because many things in the future hinged on Peter being cured, which is why September was there to witness it (that's what observers do, they travel through time observing moments of significance).
Not likely. September originated in a pre-mistake timeline (where he travelled back in time and corrupted things). The Peter we now follow who is becoming an observer is already displaced by two timelines, hence his actions are not as they would be in the original timeline.
I was thinking he could be donald as well. They say they did something to septemeber so maybe they made him human. I dont know. The show does keep you guessing sometimes
My theory is that Windmark answers to September, and that the September we've seen all throughout the show has been an earlier version of himself. At some point (maybe he's shown as a child?) he travels to the future and sees what he does, and he's been spending the entire show trying to stop himself through our Fringe team, probably through Peter. Just speculation :D
I don't get it at all! I have so many questions, and so little space to write in :P! First of all, why is peter so important for observers if he will cause so many problems in the future, aren't they FROM the future, they should know what he will do! Second why is September helping him, aren't they supposedly be without emotions, and be ordered by their leader? If september has done so many mistakes, why didn't the leader just reprogrammed him?
GlacialWolf Hi! You should watch it one more time to understand what i mean. And I'll be happy to talk about it with you. The show has a few mistakes and this is one of them
Sorry ran out of numbers. 3.Well Observes do have emotions, there just like logic better, and there rather stoic, September just grow attachment to the Bishop family. 4.I think December was just forcing him to fix his mistakes, though in the end I would think December would do some short of action.
He erased peter so that his son could be erased...plus since he wasn't supposed to exist on this earth....thats cold September...but ok atleast many things that weren't supposed to happen got erased so it's ok :p
but that didn't make sense. If peter had been cured by his original father then he would have lived in his universe not ours. He and Olivia never would have met.
The best show Ive ever watched!!! If youre watching this now. Youre a true fringe fan!!
StardustRecordz i reallyyyy do!!!mygooosshhh!just done watching for the nth time♥️still hoping for season 6
Seconded !
I’ve binge watched it multiple times over the past couple of months and I love it. Love me some Walter Bishop and also love season 5’s villain, Windmark.
...this series is now occurring IRL.
Ditto
The way the writers had planned for the story to pan over 7 seasons.... Why do networks always cancel the best shows
i like the wording that Henry was "born to the wrong Olivia Dunham" implying the possibility that Henry's existence isn't necessarily something that was never supposed to happen but rather our Olivia is the one that's supposed to have him
They also end up naming their future daughter Henryetta ❤️
or Pi
Yes true
This is indeed the scene that explains the whole series.
Lincoln: “Does anyone wanna tell me what the hell just happened?”
😂😂😂 when Lincoln is all of us lmao
One of the best scenes in Fringe :)
Definitely
“She is the one. The Olivia Dunham, from whom your shared future was meant to spring. This must be, and everything will be, as it was intended. You must find a way.” 😭😭😭
The easiest way for the Observer to rectify the situation -> point out to Walternate that the liquid had turned blue for a few seconds.
I know I'm eight years late, but I would guess that September knew in the moment just how much he had interfered. I don't think he wanted to interfere any more than he already did.

He did not see the flask or knew what he was working on.
@@meydintorki :You need to watch it again ... you missed the whole point..
September: "I don't have much time"
Also September: "Yo you had a kid btw"
this is one of the best scenes ever.
It's very interesting, because Olivia does have a child and she calls her daughter HENRIETTA!! The female version of Henry, we have continuity people.
My guess September is the future descendant of Olivia and Peter. He has taken an unusual and warm interest in their relationship which seems unique to any observer.
Nice guess...would have been interesting if they went with that!
September caused the whole fringe 😂😂😂
I think Walter would eventually find a reason to cross over. He was an untame scientist
@@meydintorki
Perhaps, but war could have been avoided in this case.
Besides, this Walter might have softened if he had saved his son.
plus the name henry originated from the fact that the cab driver from season 3 who helped alternate olivia give birth was also named henry
cuccamunga yes I remembered that
"I have a son"
"HAD"
September cold af
xd hahah
If you commented af 10 years ago, you would have been called as crazy

"They are coming" Just realized that September was probably referring to the Observer takeover!

'Henry... I have a son.' heartbreaking that he is so happy for it :(
this show's lore was prepared for at least 8 seasons not 5, what a shame
Joshua Jackson was so good in this. 😊😊😊
Fringe: The Animated Series
AMAZING SCENE!!!!!!!!!!!
I love how they reviled the observers this makes all sense!!
i love that sinister sound in the end
I hated it, it was way overused in the series.
“For that you have only to go home”
😭
“Had a son” 😭😭
Just remember everyone that this is the first time Peter lost a child....
So now we know who/what the Observers are. We just don't know what makes Peter so damn important that September wanted to see Walternate cure him. Why is Peter (and possibly the Peter-Olivia-Henry family line) so special? WHY? I MUST KNOW! I can't wait another 2 weeks!
Someone has to make a video for all Observer scenes- September, October, August, February, July. and other anonymous ones
@vaidehijoshi77 That is a good analysis I would totally buy that scenario because it seems like September sees Peter as family and he cannot bring himself to erase him.
He is in the right timeline! The observer never said he had the wrong Olivia, now.
awards for Josh's face!

The Observers do have emotions as evidenced in past episodes and in current ones after the invasion. The original 4 (or so) were just here to Observe for whatever reason.
September could not have provided Walter with a cure, as this would have been an ultimate violation of his duty to observe without interference.
The observers can't know what he will do, because the observers now exist two timelines away from the original timeline. They knew the events of the original timeline, sure, but since event zero the observers have been in unknown territory.

Not likely. September originated in a pre-mistake timeline (where he travelled back in time and corrupted things). The Peter we now follow who is becoming an observer is already displaced by two timelines, hence his actions are not as they would be in the original timeline.
September: “So basically, what happened is, I wrecked my ship”
Peter: “Wha-”
September: “Hear me out”
XDD
I have a feeling that the finale will have something to do with September.
He looks like the ancient one 🧑🦲

Mauri_ J if you mean the final timeline i think theyre together because walter said that he would disappear only in 2015 so maybe they met each other
Y'know, baldy could have just given walternte the cure and avoided all this.
But does Olivia know about Henry tho? I have to imagine so 😪

This is overdue but shouldn’t peter have tried get his kid back? He came back from nowhere so couldn’t Henry as well?
Peter already has a child, Henrietta. In the series finale, alt Olivia had a son with Our Lincoln Lee.
@@BooneErica I don’t think he had Henrietta when he found, plus it was still his kid
