I totally agree with you on how freezing it is inside stores & restaurants! It's so hot & humid down here, but the minute you walk inside your glasses fog up and the cold air hits you! I can stand cold on my legs much better than on my arms & shoulders.

This is the first time that I've actually liked every piece that you modeled. I love tie-dye but most colors are too bright for me, but these are just right because they are not overwhelming in color. The blazer is gorgeous. but I'll pass on the matching shorts lol. I really prefer natural fabrics and look for them when I go shopping. I avoid white colored clothing....they never stay white for long when i wear it lol!

I got that first button down sleepless top in the medium blue and it's a great denim look blouse. I love that fabric it shrinks 3% the first time you wash it and after that it does not ever shrink again
I also like the longer shorts. I am really, really short & much older, but I still do my shorts. The bermuda shorts just look tacky on me but I'm not wearing any Daisy Dukes at my age. The 7" would have a much better comfort level feel on me. But Lee brand leaves a little to be desired on the back side. I have to be very careful if they're not totally stretchy. And I also have an "inner hippie chic" within! I have several pcs myself. I dress for me & my husband. I don't care what the current " trend" is so to speak. It has to speak to me. ... Glenda
I am so excited to see spring come, we can't seem to get rid of the crappy weather of cold rain and on and off of SNOW which is a bummer. I'm still wearing shorts if it hits 50, never giving up my tye dye, almost 65 year old hippie chick who will never be wearing high waters, flood pants or so called crop pants or tops or be a tuck in any kind of shirt girl or pointy toe nothin! NEVER.😂😂😂 Ohio weather is always stinky. You can get all 4 seasons in one day.😂 Been here all my life. Family here.❤
I bought, and returned, the linen shorts. Although really cute, they were SO scratchy! So scratchy that I just couldn’t wear them. Bummer. because of that, I didn’t get the linen blazer.
I really like the olive green & white tye die top you were wearing.. Yes, I remember the wild color ones from the 60's and 70's but never liked those "Woodstock" crazy colors. Never was a real big "Dream of Jeannie" fan but did love "Bewitched." with Elizabeth Montgomery. 😄 The shorts are nice on you but at my age they are too short for me and would not feel comfortable wearing them anywhere. So since I am only 5' 1" some capris are long enough on me to wear as pants. However, some capris are still not quite long enough and I have to find the longer capris to be able to wear as pants, otherwise they look like "highwater pants." I don't ever wear Bermuda shorts, or anything that is above the knees.
I've been disappointed with the available shorts lengths at Walmart for the last couple of years. And sadly, my local Walmarts are just not carrying much of anything for me. Other than t-shirts I've bought very little.
Hi Karen - I know what you mean. The Walmart closest to my house is pretty slim pickings most of the time. I drive about 45 minutes to go to a couple of Walmart locations that have a bigger selection.
Hi Theresa I loved Dream of Jeannie..I was so jealous of her cute tummy. I like the green pants on you. I agree with the shorts comment. I am too short to really like Bermudas. Thanks for saying to size up on the Lees. I have such a casual lifestyle anymore that I don’t need a lot but thought that short set with the blazer looked good on you. I don’t know what it is but my shoulders used to be strong, now they are narrow and because I do have hips I like a stronger shoulder to balance me out some. I am the same weight but an inch and half shorter than you😢😢😢. This was good today, because I just did a big clean out and realized I could use a few things. An older friend of ours died and I wore a dress to the funeral and it kind of felt weird. My husband said Wow…which I have not heard in a while. Oh loved that you went on the same cruise as Carolyn . You and your husband are so so cute together. It is good to see you Theresa with the amazing hair. 💕💕💕💕
PS I do love that particular tie dye and yes loved everything hippie in my day. I am glad I did not marry any of my hippie boyfriends though..they had a terrible aversion to work 😂😂😂😂.
I think the green pants looked sloppy. That bunching on the waist made them look like they didn't fit and I feel that would be the case no matter what size you got. All the tops were cute though. I agree I always take some type of jacket with me in the summer because it's going to be freezing inside buildings.

I agree with the shorts assessment! I am too old and too thick for daisy dukes. I also can't wear midrise pants or shorts because of my shape.

I’m over 50 but I wouldn’t wear these clothes they look to be worn by someone younger.
That's the beauty of fashion, we can all wear what we are comfortable with :)
