  • Hello and welcome to another day on the Aln Valley Railway. It’s a glorious day in God’s allotment, with the thermometer reading in the mid-twenties and blue sky as far as the eye can see.
In today’s video I am going to be charting the progress of Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0ST works number 1366. This steam locomotive carries the name “Renishaw Ironworks No. 6”, but for convenience throughout the video I shall simply refer to it as Number 6.
Over the course of the day Number 6 will be hauling four return passenger trains along the 1.5 mile line between Alnwick Lionheart Station and Greenrigg Halt.
Let's see how this plucky little tank engine copes as it works the railway on the hottest day of the year so far.
    To the trains!
