- Ragnarok Online teases it's upcoming 4th Job Update in this video!
The 4th Job Update is a massive release, bringing ascension jobs (classes) of the 4th level to existing jobs!
The update is targeted for September 7th, 2023.
The following jobs will be available:
Dragon Knight
Arch Mage
Inquisitor
Imperial Guard
Cardinal
Shadow Cross
Meister
Abyss Chaser
Windhawk
Biolo
Troubadour & Trouvere
Elemental Master
An increased level cap of 250 is also to be released.

I'm proud to have been a beta tester for Ragnarok Online in 2002 with the help of a korean friend in school. I still play this game today and I'm surprised it is still being updated with new features and job classes today! I have a lord knight soon to become rune knight and I'm excited to find I can become a dragon knight now!
I played the alpha back in 2001, stuck around for the official release and played for a few years after that. Loved this game.
Guys, just play Private Servers, dont give them anything. They ruin every Offical Server and killing the Game.
Still the greatest game on Earth tho.
the very first question u were asked "What is Ragnarok" back in 2003, it was Monster vs Human, i enjoy hunting and leveling, makes new friends, gather a group for MVP hunting, it was magical, then PVP mode came and everything is about competition, ruined the true nature of Ragnarok.

Ya'll making me wanna return to the game, but I'm also pretty sure I'm so far behind that it'll take me forever before I can find players doing similar content to me.
not really, I started iRO 2 weeks ago, now I'm max level. They have a booster account event, they give you everything you need to level up.
Join back for the booster event. Meanwhile I know some people who don't want to spend money on a game, I'd highly suggest dropping around $25 in the Kafra Shop just to buy a few items to sell off to kickstart your leveling process. That $25 which takes what, 1 hr give or take IRL has the potential to save you 100 hrs IRL. Let's be real, most games that exist nowadays will have a price point. The price point is either you giving up a little money to save a lot of time or spend a lot of time for zero money spent. As an adult now and I assume 99% of the players that are still in the game are adults, my priority is saving time and having fun. Just don't go overboard and spend too much on a game you may or may not stick around with.
If you don't want to support gravity though but you just miss the game, in that case it'll make sense to not spend $25.
@@Sammich88 I'm playing again, actually. They added a new race/class since last I played so I'm giving that a try.

unfortunately client does not run properly, if you want to have a chance at playing the game again you have to play through steam and you are not able to sync your old account on steam having to start from scratch, hopefully they fix the patcher issues soon.

you fools should have included novaro as an official server hiring their team to work together with you instead of suing them, because they were much better than you! They managed to deliver to the public what the people wanted in this game instead of just thinking about greed like you guys who destroyed the game of the century.

This just sounds like digging a deeper ditch for them to try and crawl out of. Like why would you put another job tier when you can't even fix your economy, the balance is shit, you can't even showcase the rich lore properly because all the objectives people come across are just, at the core, pathetic fetch quests. I would not say the people behind the game are just too braindead to really make a genuine creative effort on improving it, but I am not gonna say that I did not want to say exactly all of that
the game is mtx the game. new power = mtx and buy loot box. that ship has sailed long ago.

catering to the need of the hungry peanut gallery will do you no good, the money is there but people are becoming less and less wanting to ever care for you or your company its time to listen to the fans and get rid of these stupid ideas that do not help.
4th job = too overpower no balance in game, boring pvp 1 shot meta
party is useless u can solo everything
rebalance the game before releasing it, otherwise it will be just a 3 months server
Players HP and Damage output are just too big of a difference, player hp can reach up to 500-700k hp at best with end game gears and full consumables
but their damage output reaches up to 2b+
how are u going to tank those damage ? Player hp should be higher than the damage they deal
need to lower damage of every class and it should not be higher than player hp
monster's hp and damage should also be rebalance

Ragnarok Online is one of the longest-lasting games.
The graphics, gameplay, and system of this game are kind of future-proof and will never be obsolete.
I just hope the company sees this potential, and manages this game more seriously by giving more attention to party play and War of Emperium, because that's what makes this game so unique and interesting to play.
