I see what you mean. I visited there once on a coach trip (bus trip) the vertical stones aren't so high as you may think. Still, I love seeing the soldier beams standing proud. 👍

Really impressed with the effort you're putting in to this! It's neat following along! Thanks for sharing!

+TheMrFinneth Thank you very much for the comment, it is always good to hear from people. Every once in a while I say to myself, this is taking too much time, I should cut back or chuck it all, but somehow, for some reason, I keep going! As I am sure is true with your very impressive craft as well, as you do more of it, you get somewhat better and more efficient at it over time. Eventually the building will get an outer skin, and eventually it will someday be done. Of course, I know of at least two other high rises within view that are due to be going by then, oh no!!! You know, I think what we may need is a popsicle stick model of this hospital!

+Hospital Construction Yeah I used to do that years ago and it took up so much time. After I started I wouldn't want to finish but it paid off. I have another channel where years ago I would make time lapses of houses going up in my neighborhood. I'd stop by and take a picture every day from the same spot. I did that for about 70 houses and then I decided it was getting to be too much. Well if it gives you any inspiration to keep going, I'll be following along!
And by the way, how are you doing this? A webcam that is just taking pictures at an interval? What are you using to edit?

+TheMrFinneth At any given time, I have anywhere from 1 to 5 cameras going. Most of the time, 2 or 3. Some are time-lapse, some are regular video. Unfortunately, they won't tell me ahead of time what they're going to do or when or where they're going to do it. ;) At this point, for a typical week I may end up with around 2-3 TB of raw material, which gets edited down, mostly using FCPX.

+Hospital Construction Jeez you must have a pretty decent hard drive and lots of patience! I know how that can get. Thanks for the responses.

+Hospital Construction Wow, my comment was from a month ago. It took this long for me to catch up to this point. Still enjoying the series. If you watch the car here at 33:30 it is very wobbly, looks like a hit and run.
Also, I hope you're planning on making videos until the building is done!! I know how it can be to start a big project like this and not feel like finishing. I can't wait to see the facade go on!

+Mary Shigehiro Thanks! I never know what's going to happen each week -- some weeks have more stuff than others...
