The reason I started playing Quake Champions. He will probably always be my fav player...i remember watching him and just being in awe...and thinking I need to learn this game. I played a lot Quake/Quake 2/Quake 3 Arena, but only had 56k back then, shared with our phone line...so I mostly.played just with bots and single player, and didnt really get into it past that until watching Tox play Champions.
I always cheer for SIB because I often run into him on TDM na servers, and he says "gg" when a lot of "good" players cant be bothered and often blame other players for their team losing or whatever, just bitching in general...he doesnt do that, he doesnt rage quit games, and he is a really good player. But...he is also fun to play against because he knows what sportsmanship is. Seems like a minor thing, but there is a lot of whining from high level players lately. Imo...if you cant handle winning / losing as a team, go play duels. Games are supposed to be fun. When they are no longer fun, you should probably take a break instead of complianing at everyone constsntly anf quitting like babies.
Huh... SIB has a bad reputation because he accused other QPL players of cheating, talks shit about other QPL players, says he's doing things in quake no one has ever done before, and also posted tons of toxic/insulting comments on the QC subreddit. He's got a singularly poor attitude for someone in the QPL which is why a lot of people don't think he belongs in QPL.
