So I had a body shop recently do a diagnostic on it the camera itself had a short in it so I end up replacing the camera and it works fine every time now
Change the camera fuse that's located in the trunk.
Mine does it too Chrysler needs to send out something and fix it for people
Mine does that too and I am going to get another one at the junk yard tomorrow mornings and I let you know
Mine 2013 Chrysler 300c also starts doing like this from yesterday. I don't know what's going on.
I have a 2013 v8 Chrysler 300c same exact issue It has to be a malfunction that Chrysler needs to recall
Mine too does that 😞
It's wierd only happens internment works sometimes and sometimes not at all any help
I have this issue now trying to avoid replacing the camera but I’m ready if I have to so what did you find out?
I had to replace the backup camera I had the auto body shop do it which was a little cheaper than the dealership
I think it was 425
Thats crazy my 2012 chrysler (was) doing it too. But now its working and I'm pretty sure its going to go out again. And I notice that when the backup camara not working my voice commands doesn't either
I haven't tried that but I will just to see what happens thanks for the heads up
Software issue Maybe
I have the same issue. Did you get it resolved?
No not yet kinda given up nobody has any answers tired everything. And tired all suggestions to from all over internet and especially RUclips
I’ll keep looking too. If I find a solution I’ll reach back out.
I had the same issue with my 2011 300 C. Was working fine when car went into storage. Spring time...forward worked one time after a full charge of battery. Then went black again. Annoying..ideas???

any chance you got this issue resolved?
No no one ever made a comment on what I should do it actually kind of gone away it ain't as frequent as used to be
Dealerships said possible camera problem 350, $400 just for camera
So update I talked to the dealership and they said it could be a camera issue and they've only fixed a couple 😒 that means probably a lot... they said as long as you can still put your car in reverse then it's not the sensor there
@Mushari Alqahtani no
Mine shows the image in reverse or horizontally flipped. Chrysler mechanic says nothing he can do its manufacture problem. Any ideas about this issue?
I would try disconnecting the battery wait a little bit and hook it back up that's how I normally restart my GPS on my Chrysler when it glitches up which is also your backup camera
A fuse
I have that same issue ughhhhhh. Anyone know how to fix this without buying another backup cam?
Mine is still intermittent work sometimes and sometimes it doesn't when I'm backing up
@@JohnCurrent4 it’s soooooo annoying. I know how I messed mine up tho. I had my door open while backing up an it shuts off. Ever since I did that 3 times I tried backing up with my door open this shit started. It’s so frustrating
The camera runs about 350 to 400
29.99 free shipping ebay just bought one Feb 2024
@@mplscarsales6652works good? Have to get a new one 2013 300
I have a 2013 300s and my car has major wiring issues
I had some blind-spot sensors go out about the only electrical issue I had
I have the same issue with mine. Do you find it to be humidity related?
@@michaelbanning7692 I've live in Wisconsin so we do have humidity but I don't think that's a factor just because it's intermittent than winter time to.. but yeah the backup camera is hit-or-miss
