We just finished this in school. It was really good. At the end, he forgot the"Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed! tear up the planks. Here! Here! It is the beating his hideous heart!"
Such a strangely fitting choice for the role of the narrator. He's so handsome and youthful, so intensely innocent-looking. As he says, he's the kind of person from whom you would expect nothing.
Hi Steve - good to hear from you! Sorry it's taken so long to reply. Totally agree with you. I'm sure you noticed his passing was recognised at both BAFTA and the Academy Award ceremonies.
It's a good tell . I just took it in university . The madman didn't enter the room by all his body . He just thrust his head . I like this short movie . - sorry if there was any mistake in grammar -
My teacher showed this to us. I really liked it. Most of the students thought it was weird but I was very intrigued. And I really like the opening piece. What's the name of it?
I'm going to use this in a non-profit gaining music video. Thank you for this the song is about the Tell-Tale Heart it's called Not in a Box Nor with a Fox - Achievment Zero
!f you guys love the tell-tale heart, i recomend you "the raven". its so touching and insane, i suggest you carry a dictionary with you, because the diction is a little hard. anyways, this is the best story of Edgar Allan Poe so far.
I notice a lot of people are pointing out the changes between this film and the original story... This film looks to be of fairly low budget and so adding a scene of limb dismemberment would've been impossible - believe it or not, it's quite expensive to do special effects like that. As for the cause of death - the mattress... yeah, they could've killed the actor if they really did that. So, for those reasons (I think), the story had to be slightly changed :)
i didnt really like this, they werent good actors, the murder was suppose to be freaking out and shouting and a bunch of other stuff, but this guy was speaking so quietly.
This didn't really deliver the point of the story, and the acting was not what I expected... a good attempt, but just didn't deliver the mood of the story or its theme.

Tootsie Roll// Yes that is my favorite part!! to bad they missed it.
When the man leaps at the bed, I laugh hard, but when the old man screams, I feel really bad

I haven't watched it yet but the story we read in class today was good so I'm gonna check this out
Hope you like the presentation.
Old Edgar A. Poe was quite a genius when it came to writing such tales of regret, madness, insanity, and dark mysteries.

well I just love that it's never mentioned at all if the killer is male of female in the actual story. 👌
It’s always been assumed to be a man as no one in Poe’s era could have conceived of a woman being capable of an act of pure evil like this.
Best Valentines story ever!
Hey Brian
Its Steve the illustrator on this little Gem. It was an honour to be on the same credit roll as the great man himself.
Jack Cardiff.
You are right... and you introduced me to a really cool song. I appreciate that : )
Always loved this story.

Hello all
@mshuckster12 No. He died falling out of bed.
This is very inccurate in the story he cut his. Body parts up and. Put them in the floorboards and their was 3 officers not 2
3 officers not 2
@edrdavenport78 The Old man died because of a Heart attack! Read the actual Story!
They should add this to Fortnite
Interesting!
he's insane...............
I don't know
intelligence isn't proof of sanity perhaps
You forget he drained the blood in the bath tub after he chopped him up.
But thanks man.
This video doesn't do justice to the suspense and the emotion in Poe's written story
I got here from watching The Simpsons
i read this artical in 6th grade! so creepy
Do you think it was based on a true story or he was just making it up???

i didnt really like this, they werent good actors, the murder was suppose to be freaking out and shouting and a bunch of other stuff, but this guy was speaking so quietly.
