I love open UL tho, what's funny is, it's open, but the meta is WAY WAY WAY more condensed, it's like 10 pokemon you see constantly and that's IT so much easier to run a team in open UL that works well and covers you. And the cool thing with HB on goon is like the third battle, sometimes your win condition can be them saving a shield but getting beamed I love it
Facts! I really enjoy open as well. It's a bit more condensed meta, and slightly fewer xls than premiere

Dude has had more boosts in 3 matches than I have gotten total from 10,000+gbl, 12,000+ rocket battles, and 3000+ friendly battles. Unreal.

Lapras might be my best investment in UL so far, Obs is second. Both are very bulky which helps a lot. And of course i went bankrupt after levelling up that Lapras so i have to wait till UL comes back next time to build Snorlax to try this team
Lapras is a BEAST!
If you do try the team, I'd probably recommend counter on obsta, as it's more consistent, but it seems like a solid team!

Hey HomeSliceHenry, I think a good idea for your videos is to put a definition on the right side of the screen for terms that you use. Like when you say "CMP," there will be the definition on the side briefly for those who don't know what it means.

Some moves have a certain chance of night slash boosts, Ike got lucky with boosts in set 1 :)

Definitely, my guess is, they wanted to save shields for talonflame, but they definitely win if they double shield clefable

I’m more impressed at the easy battles. Very few fighters.
Outside of obstagoon, there really aren't a ton of fighters in open ultra this time around. With the prevalence of cresselia and giratina, having a counter user that can hit both for s/e has basically made obstagoon the main counter user, outside of the odd s-machamp double steel line
