Anxiety is a terrible thing to deal with, you always go to worse case scenario in your mind, only people who struggle with anxiety would understand. Prayers for you. Love you and your family! You guys make living in Alaska look amazing!
I am glad you saw a doctor (?) about your symptoms. I hope your previous medical history was available to him. I wish you had seen him alone and could have addressed your concerns about your anxiety issues. Your health and sense of well being mean much to all of your viewers dear one.
Lavender Lil555 i lovingly agree....family support is important, but so much worry is also in that beautiful head of yours, and cant really talk turkey.....and given your history, a quick check in the ears is not enough....not to be negative, but for a few years bringing up your entire history is critical until you are cancer free for few years. I have first hand experience. Maybe call clinic where you had surgery for check in, consult. Please.
Love and prayers from Michigan. I've been cancer free for three years and everytime I have a lump, bump or ache I worry. What you are dealing with is normal. Our church has a community garden but no sports.
Lynne Perg Yes, fear would be the worst thing to deal with EVER. Bless you, and there are bunches of scriptures on destroying fear. It works. Trust me. 🙌🙌
Growing up my dad played in a softball league.. so as a kid summers nights were spent at the ball field!!! Also after I was married me and my husband played in our churches league and loved it!! Wish we had one where we live now...
Sending prayers Jessica. Hope the antibiotics help you feel better. Listen to your body and if the medicine doesn't work the doctors may have to look into it further. Your family is truly amazing. God Bless.
Jessica, I suffer from BPPV from allergies that formed when I moved from the east coast to Indiana. The vertigo was terrible for a long time but when I started on Flonase and used the over the counter nausea medicine (walmart) it helps tremendously. It actually has not been bad at all for years now. I know anxiety can be overwhelming but remember God's got you! You're family is the best! Prayers and good vibes going your way.
So happy that you saw a doctor regarding your illness. Praying for a speedy recovery. Enjoyed watching your beautiful family share in making memories today. Prayers and hugs coming your way. God Bless~
Lovely to see you all out having family time ...Jessica hope you'll feel better very soon ..your family is amazing ..I live in the UK ..and.its so nice to see the.other side of the Globe ...thank you so much ..
I will keep you in my prayers. God has blessed you with a beautiful life and family. Put all your faith in HIM and you will be fine and a blessing to many. God bless 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
So glad you got checked out. I pray it improves. If not at least you have a starting point with the health pros. It's okay to need support. I need care 24 hrs a day now. It was a difficult transition but now on this side I think why on earth did I always have to be so busy? Receiving care from my husband and home carer really makes me appreciate all the little things. My biggest weakness has fed my biggest strength. God bless
So happy you saw the Doc. Hope you get better soon. I loved sports growing up. I played softball, did track and field, played a little tennis, powderpuff football, gymnastics, volleyball, and poles and barrel racing. I also loved swimming, so was a Jr Life Guard and taught swim classes. I tried to stay busy all the time.
I have BPPV. They can put you on Vertigo meds when it won't behave itself. So, with faith and hope and prayer I hope it will straighten itself out. Also, I have PTSD and anxiety is part of it. Mine is really bad. I have been praying for you again tonight. I pray everything will straighten itself out soon and that you can beat both the Anxiety and the BPPV too. I will continue to keep praying for you and also praying for your family too. Please keep the faith and keep praying on things and for the hope that this gets better soon for you and your family okay. Millions of hugs and best wishes.
Our villages still playing various team sports against each other. Glad you went to the doctor. Love to you and your family. Hafa Adai from Guam 🇬🇺 USA.
I had to stop the video and tell you your brother is funny! Yay for humor! It is so sweet how your family is there for you when you are feeling down. Or afraid. Audrey is your Mini-Me and such a sweetheart.
Audrey is like a mini mother so cute glad all sorted at doctors God bless you all I used to play hockey in school many years ago I'm in south WALES UK xxx
Hope you're okay. If what the doctor prescribed doesn't help, please go back or see an ENT. I also think calling the surgeon in Texas and see if how you're feeling has anything to do with your surgery. Wouldn't hurt. Prayers to you Jessica! 🙏🏻
Totally understand the anxiety about the doctor after what you’ve been through. I’m five years out from a brain tumor and still get anxious when I go to the neurologist. Seeing a specialist on a regular basis is good because he can put your mind at ease and understand your symptoms from the right point of view. Like a doctor says you are dizzy due to allergies and the neurologist might say the same thing but can also put you at ease that it’s nothing else either!! Peace of mind is worth a million dollars and actually helps you feel better!
Prayers for you, Jessica! You are an inspiration to other wives and mothers (definitely to me), you're there for them even when you're not feeling your best. I love watching your videos and dream of my little family moving to Alaska someday ♡
So glad you went to the dr! Allergies are a pain! I hope things get figured out for you soon! So you can enjoy the rest of your summer doing the things you want!
I had the same symptoms and issues back in February and March, and my doctor changed my allergy medications and it solved the issues. No more head being clogged, balance and dizziness issues, and breathing a whole lot better almost immediately. Contact me privately if I can offer more...praying for you and your wonderful family! Great power set-up! Excellent for planning ahead, and the shooting range is a necessary and important tool for your family safety and for their future as well!
@@crbngrl, I've used Zyrtec for years, but in March switched to Singulair in prescription strength. I also was given flucticasone nasal spray. They have worked wonders. Nothing else was solving the issues.
Hi Evelyn, I was so hoping you would mention to the doctor about your anxiety. As a fellow sufferer of anxiety and panic attacks they can become almost disabling if not treated sooner than later. I will keep you in my prayers for your healing and wellness. Love your family vlogs.
I played tennis, soccer, was on the dive team from 3rd-9th grade, played softball, did some gymnastics, took some dance and golf lessons. I did too much. I didn't Excel at any because I did so much! Softball, soccer and diving were my main ones though and I was okay. Glad you got some potential answers and had a good day!
Being nervous after what you have been through is expected but it will get easier. Just remember you have your beautiful family and all the happy peoples support and love for you! 💖
So glad you went to DR👍take your meds we want our Jess to feel better and get back to her young self again,,so happy seeing you smile @ having fun...I play softball in school 💞it..FEEL BETTER MY FRIEND 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏TO YOU @ YOURS💞👍🤗
My husband had the same exact symptoms as you (nasal drainage, pressure, dizziness) about a month ago. The Dr said it was just allergies. He got prescribed an anti histamine, nasal spray and inhaler. None of it worked. He went to a different Dr and got antibiotics. He was better within a week or two of taking them. Wishing you all the best!
Good evening, Jessica! About 6 weeks ago, I got a cold that ended up with an ear infection. I got antibiotics, orally and it didn't do much. I finally went back in a couple days ago because my ear was popping but not opening and starting to hurt again. This time they gave me antibiotic ear drops and a steroid and it finally seems to be starting to ease up. SHe said I had an outer ear infection as well as eustachian tube dysfunction. I generally try to do as natural recovery as possible but sometimes...sometimes it takes the big guns! Praying for you!
Dear Jessica!! I know going to the physician was tough and I can feel your fear that this is a reoccurance. Let go and let God!! I just asked My husband, an Allergist, who mentioned sometimes post surgery, you can have phlegm go inside your ears, get trapped in the sinuses and develop inflammation. He called it Sinusitis. If the treatment doesn't work, a Sinus CT Scan would help to see the sinuses. Also, just like one of your followers stated, please talk to the Doctor in Texas and ask him if this is normal after your type of surgery. Bringing your beautiful family for support is wonderful!! Your family is AMAZING!! We love you all!!
I never played sports in a team due to health problems unfortunately, but all of my cousins would play games at our grandparents house. Badminton, soccer, baseball, kickball.. All sorts of stuff. It is some of my best memories.
It would be so special to have a family that cares as yours so lucky little Missy!!! I had to wait over s month to get a ride to get stitches out from a wreck!!
Love that you are so open and honest with everything. Love how close you all are and you give me hope for my family. So proud of you for going to the doctor, it takes a lot to go sometimes, in know what it can be like, but hopefully the medicines you received help your symptoms. I wasn't a big sports girl when i was younger, I danced for 16 years and wish i had never stopped. But have passed my love of dance to my girls.
We’ve been in TVC first care so many times. It use to be a restaurant years before. It was more fun going there when it was a restaurant. I recognize the nurse, she checked me before a ultrasound on my thyroid. Hope they figure it out soon. So glad Burt is always there for you.
You may be right in your thoughts Jessica, coming from your op , but I hope it all settles down soon. The dizzyness is awful!! it may just take some time for everything to settle back down. P.M.A. goes a long way in healing . Take care xxxx
so glad you went to the doctors , and when your mouth was healing you could have easily got some kind of infection as the sinuses are just above the roof of your mouth , like you i would probably take the antibiotic as well as doing the spray .. and get well soon
Absolutely!! I totally agree!! A sinus CT Scan as a follow up would be a great idea!! If symptoms don't get better in a week, please go to an ENT Specialist or/and An Allergist in Fairbanks. Allergies CAN create your post nasal drip but not the extreme dizziness you are having. We will be praying for you Jessica!!
Played basketball, softball, volleyball, track, and field hockey. Loved sports, but now I watch others. Hopefully soon my grand babies will come and play sports. Sending lots of prayers! Love your family thank you for sharing!
Really enjoyed the family at the field watching you and your family having fun. I just want to say I understand your fears of going to the doctor. Yes I am a nurse but I still get so nervous when I have to go. Prayers you feel better soon!
Audrey, you are just too cute, and so mature! Bless your heart! And I think you are right Jessica, don't think it is just allergies. Possibly you are suffering with vertigo? My prayers are with you.
I remember when I had to go to a doc..after my cancer...I have to be honest..that black cloud that hangs over your head is so real..and it takes time for it to slowly lift..and the fear slowly disappears..but it DOES !!! My favorite Bible verse was When in times I am afraid. I will trust in thee oh Lord !!! You took the first step..you just keep going through this dark cloud..He is holding your hand!!! And your family is amazing !! God bless you !
Sending healing thoughts from Florida....your kids are the sweetest. Love the softball footage. I played from age 12 to 16.. Not good at all but I loved it..lol.....always so fun. Now all of our 6 kids played sports and we so good at it and enjoyed it. Football, track, Ice hockey, la crosse, swimming...also bowling..boy scouts..gymnastic...ice skating..m
I've had a stuffed sinus since March. At first I thought it was a bad tooth when I went to the dentist he took an x-ray and said it was an inflammation of my sinus ergo toothache so antibiotic cleared it for a while now it's back but started using the spray and it helps. Oh and the dizziness should go away. Pollen has been bad here. Good luck. Blessings to all. 😎🇺🇸
I played softball for a few years when I was younger. I loved it. I wish I would of played longer. I'm glad you went to the dr and he didn't say it was anything serious. Take care of yourself, and I hope you're back to 100% really soon.
So glad you went to the Dr today Jessica. From half the world away I have been worried for you and praying like crazy. 🙏🙏 On antibiotics myself with a crazy chest infection and filling in my time watching your videos 😁 Love that your family were there with you. Also loved the softball match, used to play softball at school, but not much since then. Not a lot of opportunity where I was. 😊
Val Springer Yep. I have seasonal allergies, as do many folks in our area. Because the ears, sinuses & neck are connected- they're all affected. Stress can cause extreme tightness in the neck muscles, which also can create dizziness. Been there done that.
In middle and high school I played girls football, softball, basketball, field hockey, dance, cheer, and volleyball. Ended in my Sophomore year of high school bc I was diagnosed with severe juvenile arthritis. Kept on dancing though. Went to competitions and had lots of fun.
I hope you start feeling better, Jessica. It’s miserable when you have that post nasal drip, and sinus messed up. I’m with you, I hate going to the dr and I hate medical procedures. My anxiety goes into over drive. I had breast cancer 5 years ago and I’m fine now. But I go for a mammogram tomorrow and I will be holding my breath until I get results. Well, I am exagerating, but you know what I mean. Lol. Your brother cracks me up. Great sense of humor.
Kinda late catching up on your videos, you know, summer in Alaska, gotta enjoy! So glad Jessica went to the doc. I hate going, I am supposed to go 3 times a year according to my insurance for wellness checks, but don't. I loved the Dad video and also love the house projects. I bought a fixer upper and need lots of ideas! Especially for up here, my first home here. I still want to pick your brain about the crawlspace insulation!
I loved gymnastics when I was young and was lucky enough to have my Dad build me a balance beam low to the ground so as I was practicing I wouldn't get hurt. We also played softball in our neighborhood with all the area kids (there were a lot). Hope you are feeling better!!!
Hello Sweet Sommers Family! 💗 This is my first time sharing a comment even though my kids and I have been watching your family vlogs for over a year. After watching this episode, I mustered up the courage to share with you that I truly look up to you Jessica. I am a cancer survivor too (melanoma). Ever since my journey with cancer, I have struggled with anxiety. I am a single, working mom (a teacher) of two amazing kids. With Jesus and my children by my side every day, I try my best to get through the struggles and challenges, but some days are just more difficult than others. I want you to know that you are not alone. Sending love, prayers and hugs from Ohio. 💗💗💗💗
Hi there SomersInAlaska family, wishing you well and a speedy recovery It’s always a bummer when not feeling yourself. You’ve conquered so much Jessica. All will be well. When did Audrey grow up. She’s really doing so good with these vlogs “watch out, she’ll take over” Enjoyed seeing you guys play some ball. Your brother is so funny, I really thought you had a crowd there lol your mama playing ball too, you go girl. (All the women in my family are athletic) I played softball in grade school and high school along with ballet, tap, gymnastics, and jazz. Thanks for sharing
Our church doesn't have a baseball league, but we do have a full size volleyball set. If weather permitting the kids and/ or young adults will play a friendly game after services:) I took volleyball in summer school once and fell in love with it! Prayers for a speedy recovery!
Praying that you feel excellent real soon! I played volleyball in my high school years. I loved it and I miss it! I played a little after I was married and had my kiddos ...
I played softball, I was shortstop....prayers for you..your blessed. I miss the love of my life....he always always babied me....I'm lost without him.....but thank the Lord for that old rugged cross...I'm a sinner saved by God's Grace washed in his blood..I'll see the love of my life again.🙌🙌🙌🙌💓💓💓💓💓love and prayers that you feel better soon.
As a youngster I played baseball (a lot), hockey, football, and ran track. Now in my 70's, I only run to the bathroom, often. Hope you feel better soon.
I have been dealing with sinus issues since last week. I use saline rinses, steam inhaling, Zyrtec, etc. once in had ear issues and it turned out to be sinus draining stuff clogging my ear so he punctured the ear drum in his office and it drained, plus used antibiotics. Much better after that. Also had two sinus surgeries, no more of that again. Praying you feel better. Sinus issues never go away. Right now I can't do anything in the garden as it flares up . You learn to roll with the punches 😄
Jessica, I have very bad allergies myself, they do at times make me feel dizzy. It’s something to do with the barometric pressures. The Flonase, netty pot & Zyrtec are my life!!! Get better sweetie! ❤️
Played soccer for one year in 2nd grade. Hated it and thought running was torturous and everybody just assumed I was a wimp but it turned out I have bone problems that cause things like running to hurt badly. So no more running for me. In high school I started kayaking and white water rafting and I loved that. I love the water and how amazing it is and how it connects us with nature. So that’s the sport I would love to get back into (and it’s doctor approved for me because it’s low-impact).
I played a lot of sports as a kid/teen/adult. I skateboarded, surfed, was in karate, played basketball, football, softball, baseball, wakeboarding, badminton, rode dirt bikes, etc.
I am so glad that you went to the Dr's. Give yourself some credit Jessica, you may have had a little anxiety over it but you didn't allow it to stop you. That is strength. Some times it takes a while to find out what is wrong, if anything is wrong. You have to be responsible and take the medication prescribed to help the dr eliminate issues. Is your experience due to sinuses, allergies, or is it something else? Begin and complete his recommendations, to see if you are get better from them. If not, then get an allergy test. There is nothing wrong in calling the oncologist either locally or in Texas, and asking him if there is a possibility of your issues being related to either the surgery. The point here is don't sit around becoming anxious over something you don't know. Don't think about the worse until you are told to. Take care Jessica see you on the next video, which I hope is soon.
Never played sports. I had very bad and uncontrolled asthma, so, I was even exempt from PE classes until high school. I did do Girl Scouts, and music lessons....., but always had to sit on the bench and watch the PE classes.
Something to consider ~ When trauma occurs in your life, your soul actually fractures. It tends to bring up the lowest vibrations inside us to be purged out in order to raise that vibration. Every trauma that occurs in our lives is an opportunity to release low energy blocks inside our physical body (dis~ease). Serious meditation and diet (self love) are the only things that will purge these lower densities and allow our souls to come back to a balanced and whole state (homeostasis). Forgiving yourself and others is a great place to start with meditation. Then allow the healing and purging to happen with no judgment. I truly believe that this will be the key to you getting back to you. Sending you so much love and positive healing energy! Namaste ~ Leslie
Sending prayers. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I hope that you feel better soon. My husband is the sports nut. I knew nothing about sports until I met him. He played softball and went bowling all the time. He taught me both. Our lives revolved around those two sports in fact we didn't even have a honeymoon. He was in a softball tournament and we got married on Saturday and were at the ball park Sunday. He played all the time until he ran a nail into his foot at work and chipped a bone and did some nerve damage. He had to give up bowling too. Unfortunately things happen. Feel better and God bless you and that beautiful family of yours.
Praying 4 ya. I’ve had sinus and ear infections. They are ok but deffo understand ur worries about going to the drs. Sinus and ear infections have made me dizzy. The Nasal spray is awesome. I’ve had to have it for a few years now. I do find it can be affected wen I have dental issues. I’m more sporty than my bf.
I normally don’t Comment on videos but I had issues with sinuses and you know what really helped me is going to a chiropractor! I went from 5 plus sinus infections and I now haven’t had one in over 2 years. Drs told me it wouldn’t help me but went to a chiropractor and life has changed so much. You want to look for a “corrective care” chiropractor.
So glad you went to the Dr. Hope what he prescribed helps. I know if you use saline after being outside it does help. All the rain and blooming flowers etc, can set anyone off. I didn't have allergies as a kid but now I do. Our bodies change. I was big into volleyball. My kids played football, basketball and ran track. Even one of my daughters played basketball in college. You and your Mom both had good hits. Hope we will still see her some. Wish her happiness in her new home. Will keep praying for your recovery. 🙏Keep us posted.❤🕇
Audrey i love ur vlogs. I'm so glad last2 years u caught my eye and I started watching ur family vlogs, one day your gonna have ur very own and ill watch yours too. keep up the good work lil one
I’m glad you don’t have anything seriously wrong. When my dad had an inner ear infection he could not stand and would vomit from the vertigo, it was bad. I’m glad you don’t have that. Your brother Zach is really funny! It is still strange watching your vlogs when you are filming at night and it’s so light outside. I think I could handle more light vs more darkness though.

MsWDWFAN1 I think consulting with the surgeon in Texas is a great idea.
Yes, there was a church league softball thingy when I lived there. Also played/coached soccer on that same field.

Are you able to communicate with the doctor that did your surgery? Maybe they could provide some insight. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Audrey is wise beyond her years for sure. So mature and I agree she is a great vlogger!
So proud of you. You showed your kids fear doesn't have to imobilize you, you can conquor it and it's ok to ask for help.
Glad you went to the doctor hope you feel better soon and sending prayers and i played softball for a church for 2 years i loved it
Really enjoyed the family at the field watching you and your family having fun.
My favorite Bible verse was
When in times I am afraid. I will trust in thee oh Lord !!! You took the first step..you just keep going through this dark cloud..He is holding your hand!!! And your family is amazing !! God bless you !
Glad you went to doc. Hope you felt better quickly.
Stay positive! You got this. Allergies can cause equilibrium issues. Prayers.
Prayers as always! Feel better soon Jessica

I'm glad you went to the doctor. I hope you feel better soon.
Glad you went to the Drs. Hopefully it is just allergies. I did not get diagnosed with Allergies until my 40’s. Take care of yourself.
John McNaught 🤣👏🏻
Audrey simply melts my heart..... thanks for sharing!
No sports just a band nerd. Lol. Sending a lot of prayers your way. Love seeing your brothers. Nana is going to be missed. Love from Texas
Praying u feel better soon Jessica
Played soccer for one year in 2nd grade. Hated it and thought running was torturous and everybody just assumed I was a wimp but it turned out I have bone problems that cause things like running to hurt badly. So no more running for me. In high school I started kayaking and white water rafting and I loved that. I love the water and how amazing it is and how it connects us with nature. So that’s the sport I would love to get back into (and it’s doctor approved for me because it’s low-impact).
Praying for you Jessica!
I knew this was coming! I’m glad, love your brother! Show more of him! PLEASE! Hope you do.
Your always in my prayers, hope you feel better
We love you guys ... highlights to our day ...
Glad you went to the doc and he gave you some meds! I pray they will kick in and help you feel better soon!
Never played sports. I had very bad and uncontrolled asthma, so, I was even exempt from PE classes until high school. I did do Girl Scouts, and music lessons....., but always had to sit on the bench and watch the PE classes.
Wow, Jessica and mum rock on the ball pitch.
Your brother seems like a really fun and nice bloke.
So blessed.
You guys are fabulous. Hope you feel better!
Sending prayers Jessica.
Telling you to keep the faith Jessica. I hope you feel better real soon.
I normally don’t
Comment on videos but I had issues with sinuses and you know what really helped me is going to a chiropractor!
