I already found a new bug 🎉. When you log out of the world while standing on a lily pad when you log back in you go right through it and start drowning
@@Boneknapper-yw3es bugrock moment
I also found another bug, you used to be able to use the arrow keys to auto-fill commands in chat, it doesn’t work anymore. I am doing a large built on my PlayStation creative world and its a nightmare to type without a keyboard, so I used to use that before it vanished to quickly type commands like /fill
❤
So they didnt fix the trident bug where when you leave the game and log back in the tridents would go through the floor?
I feel like leaving the villager changes as an experimental setting is the way to go with this. Since they can clearly coexist as world creation options, there’s no reason to force all players to use them.
they're only in experimental options right now because they are still under development, but they will eventually be added to the game, so that wont be an option in the future.
@@redthunder6183 I know that’s the reason they’re under experimental right now. What I’m saying is that I think a good decision would be to leave them as a toggleable world creation option, so that only players who want the changes will have them (since so many people, myself included, don’t want them).
@@thatonepossum5766exactly, because if every player has to deal with this it can wreck trading halls or artificially built villages.
Then you'd have to deal with all those holier-than-thou people who talk about how the game is "INTENDED TO BE PLAYED^tm". Great suggestion though, therefore it won't be added.
@@YappistanPresident I hate that every part of this comment is true. xD
For a minor update, this is pretty revolutionary for Bedrock
FACTS
Is it possible to get off the snapshot version? I can't join servers atm.
@@winstonchurchill8295 idk
@@winstonchurchill8295 how do you even get on snapshots on bedrock?
@FPT_FINEST I just updated and it says all servers are outdated, which I know people have to also update to the latest version, but these are featured servers that I can't join. I've restarted and quit and rejoined the game and nothing is working.
In my opinion one of the biggest bug fixes was finally making it where you can use bone meal underwater correctly.
Bedrock is getting better and better as time goes by. Also lately a lot of parity updates which is nice
The villager changes are very sad. As a casual player it was so difficult to achieve 1 emerald trades and when I did finally get to it, it felt like an achievement
And the fact that I can’t get the most essential trades anymore without travelling hundreds of blocks and without chunk base made me lose motivation to play already, even tho it’s not implemented yet
All we need now is to be able to build on the nether roof 👀
And a good offhand
It would be great if we also had support for optifine and being able to put everything on offhand
@@tom-ez1npI think the problem with that is there aren't any buttons to use the offhand yet, but who knows MOJANG might do that ngl
@@unununununun7012 With as far behind in performance that Optifine is compared to Sodium shouldn't Optifine be obsolete and/or be discontinued soon? If they haven't caughtup by now and Sodium keeps improving I can't understand why anyone would even use it anymore...
@@tom-ez1npbanner marking too
Id be more fine with the villager changes if you could use the lecturn to copy enchanted books for a high amount of lapis and exp that way you can get the books you need consistently without having to run all over your world
OFCOURSE I’ve never thought of that
That is a great idea! Too bad they'd never add something that helpful.
When it comes to Java/Bedrock parity changes, the next big one would obviously be the changes to Off-Hand;
When it comes to Java, the only true limit is that main hand is used for left-clicking and off-hand is used for right-clicking
When it comes to Bedrock, the off-hand is seemingly restricted to the shield (which btw, is activated on Bedrock by CROUCHING for some stupid reason)
I'm not asking Mojang/Microsoft to add the combat features from Java to Bedrock, I only want to be able to hold a pickaxe in one hand and torches/blocks in the other while playing Bedrock
Update 26/9/23: I've been made aware that crouch to shield on Bedrock is due to Bedrock's own parity between console/mobile (kinda forgot that Bedrock is also on mobile, my b). Supposedly mobile doesn't have separate actions for the leftclick/rightclick functions on pc (left trigger/ right trigger for consoles)
I'd love for them to bring the off hand feature but the crouch to shield is pretty much entirely because of touchscreen parity unfortunately. I'm sure they can change it I think they're just looking an ergonomic way to do so
Torch in off hand would be a big deal, in my opinion.
Oh my god the crouching! It’s so hard to move if you don’t have swift sneak AND you have to jump off and up on blocks as you move forward. It makes using a shield a pain.
It's because holding a steak and pickaxe on mobile wouldn't work. If you pressed down on the screen, would it eat the steak or break blocks?
What an amazing 'minor' update! And tnx for a great breakdown!
I would still so love to see the coordinates on the death screen. So many times I've rage quit just because I had no idea where I died.
This! YAASSSSS!
Thank you Silentwispere, i was waiting for ur review video before updating, so helpful ☺️
Hope you like it!
Thanks for the Minecraft updates, chief. I'm gonna drop back in again now after learning all of this.
Villager changes hurt my soul
I think you can also sprint crawl if you have swift sneak! So good for diamonds!
The only update that I'm still waiting is the arrow attached to the body when get hit😂
I'm really pissed about the loss of villager trading discounts. I worked really hard to build my trading hall and it's about 1/20th as valuable as it was a few hours ago. Obviously mojang doesn't listen to its players.
Players: We want bamboo blocks , we want armour customization , we want rafts , we want better signs and working bookshelves
Mojang: *adds all of that in a single update , along with archeology , cherry wood and a few changes to mob heads*
Players: Also the game is too easy lmfao , look at me killing the ender dragon after two days of playing , and have a trading hall where i can get shulker boxes worth of enchanted diamond tools and armor
Mojang: *removes the biggest exploit in the game and is actively trying to balance it out*
Players: :0
@@hehheh6875 You can smoke the ender dragon with iron armor and a non-enchanted bow lol
@@BlueSharkRidesyou can even go naked with beds
The fact that people defend this monstrosity of a OP bug is also beyond stupidity. Like saying that players should be able to get emerald for ONE stick is just the definition of OP and you're defending it? Man how the Minecraft community have fallen.
@hilike6507 whether it is a stick or a piece of paper or a diamond doesn't matter. It's all easily obtained. The issue is the grind. Nobody late game wants to grind for gear. We grind to set up the trading hall so we don't have to grind any more. Then it's taken away. A fully functional trading hall is no small investment. Of course you can do it cheap, but many of us built large and nice halls with many features and many villagers designed to support these trades. All with the understanding that this is a game mechanic.
So I'm noticing what I think is a new bug with this update. If I'm swimming forward and I was just underwater, sometimes the bubbles keep popping even though I now have my head above water.
I came up once after I ran out of air and kept swimming, but also kept taking damage and died. It was weird.
The removal of multiple curing discounts is beyond stupid. Villagers are what remove the grind from most resource gathering late game, and even if you have an enormous supply of emeralds it will still be a pain to refill your inventory constantly. Mojang doesn't understand that a balanced game doesn't equal a fun game
The fact that people defend this monstrosity of a OP bug is also beyond stupidity. Like saying that players should be able to get emerald for ONE stick is just the definition of OP and you're defending it? Man how the Minecraft community have fallen.
This bug being removed isnt even that bad. I dont cure my villagers because i literally have 2 stacks of emerald blocks and already can pay for all of it. Whats so bad about this removal? It doesnt change the game a lot and is actually a good balance they have made so far.
Agreed I love op farms
You can still trade 1 for 1 for pumpkins, melons, books, ink sacs, mutton, and more so it’s not that bad
@hilike6507 It's not a bug. It was a feature. Yes it is op. No that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. Playing a balanced game is just a grind that leads to burnout. If you have ways around it to make the game fun, in this case trading, then people can actually enjoy playing instead of harvesting resources for hours on end. If you hate the way the discounts work, don't discount them. It's that easy. At least then the rest of the community could still enjoy one of the best features of the game
They ruined the game for me with those trade rebalances. Like we always had to mine for a bunch of diamonds, then villagers came to finally make diamond gear fully renewable. This just took us back to phase 1, needing diamonds for not only armor and gear trades but even the netherite upgrades
Oh no! now you have to play the game :o
Yeah ik it's tough but it all makes the game more tough. The diamond armour from villagers were too op. It just reduced the value of diamond
I built my villager converter literally two days ago. I only got the 1 emerald trades for a few hours, man…
I play on Xbox and the update broke my game. My game has debilitating lag when my villagers are working. It’s effected my other worlds too. I’ve tried everything to fix it that I can think of.
after this update my game is "freezing" the screen all the time.
I’ll go into some detail. I’ll start by saying I’ve eliminated my Xbox and internet connection as the problem.
I have a relatively new world where I’m converting a village into a trading area with rebuilt structures. I have 6 librarians, 6 farmers (4 farming carrots in a 4 chunk area and 2 accepting their carrots) 2 tool smiths and 3 armor smiths. Before the update everything was fine. After the update when I’m in the village area there’s extreme abet odd lag.
I can move normally with no issues. The lag ceases if I move away from the village. (I have explored for mobs holding stuff and things like that). The mobs and villagers all move in slow motion. Item drops like those you’d get from harvesting carrots yourself move in slow motion as well up in the air a bit and then down to the ground. I cannot immediately collect them. Mining blocks is laggy as well. I can hear the mining sound but there is no cracking animation or particles from the block. It just disappears completely then magically either returns like I never touched it or floats down in its item form for me to hopefully pick up. Opening my menu, chests, crafting table, and villager trade menu also lags as does opening doors and gates.
The doors and gates actually open fine but close immediately on their own. If I’m quick I can get through them, but the game may or may not consider them closed. They may look closed, but be open because technically I opened them. They’re closed in a sense that they look closed and I can’t walk through them. Later after the game catches up they will be open.
The sun and moon animate normally as well but rubber band back. Eventually the day will cycle to night. At that point the lag ceases which leads me to believe the bug is tied to villager working hours somehow. If I do upgrade their trades the particle effects animate normally.
I was working on an iron farm 150 blocks away. I had 12 fletchers and decided to go there and see if there were the same issues or if it was just farmers maybe as the cause.
At first it was fine. I needed more villagers so I threw a stack of carrots down. I only got 2 babies. I waited a while and worked on some other parts of the build. They were already producing 1 golem. I went back and dropped 2 more stacks of carrots. They immediately started the hearts behavior and the lag showed up. After three babies and a sleep cycle the issue resolved itself. Is it carrots?
I loaded an older world with a similar wheat farm. Same weird lag. It’s not carrots. 🙄
I’m thinking it’s somehow tied to villager behavior while awake. Harvesting/ breeding/ etc. I started elimination of my plowed land to see it the issue improved (this is a lengthy process because I can only do it at night) and so far it has t improved.
A few other issues I’ve encountered is that if I’m in the area for a while I get a multiplayer unavailable message (again not my internet). I also have some beds that have slabs around and when I sleep in then I end up under the bed.
While on Reddit looking for others experiencing similar problems, which there are quite a few, I found other complaining that they will fall and walk away only to take fall damage repeatedly like they are standing in a berry bush. Others can’t get through a portal experiencing something similar.
I always watch silent’s bug reports and of all of them the only one I’ve ever had was disappearing villagers. I’ve never had an update be so game breaking as this one.
I was wondering why it seemed my xbox couldn't handle minecraft well anyway
Great video silent 💙
I actually hate how fast pistons break now. I constantly accidentally break the pistons on my cube makers when harvesting. Also the crawling feature has been extremely annoying and seems to happen when I don't want it to.
Thank you for the update. I'm pretty happy about the crawling thing. Been wanting thst for a long time.
The discounts Nerf were retroactive so ALL trading halls have been nerfed.
This is a fantastic update, the new swimming is so consistent with java!
I love how bedrock dupes get nerfed asap yet javas end portal dupe is still in the game
And javas tnt?
@@RK-ck6pl That's a bug->feature and has been for a long time. They can't fix the spaghetti code without breaking or rebuilding the engine, so they made it a feature instead...
The funny thing is gravity block duping is still in the game I've recently made a design that's early game and you only need to collect the items in the overworld
I play both versions and to me regaining hearts at full saturation is noticibly slower on bedrock than java, you cant bring entities through the end gateway to the overworld because of who knows what, and pistons cant actuate as fast which breaks so many cool builds, last but not least hardcore. Fix these and ill be happy.
You can actually spam jump and fly out of water with a Elytra and rockets. If you don't carry a trident and land in a ocean. Kind of difficult to do though
silent i was in the middle of building my stacked raid farm and i was just gonna move the villagers in before the update releases, how do i move them now that they can no longer take professions while asleep?
I spent hours making a 40 villager trading hall/iron farm under a zombie spawner for the discounts. Hope the discounts are at least not reverted
They literally nerfed villager tradings. 😢
the spawner still gives some discount, so it'll save you curing everyone atleast
I do not think they will rescale established villagers, unless you rezombify them.
@silentwisperer thats good, at least. Im trying to stay open-minded about the changes
The inventory search change is reverted back to 1.20.15 (at least it is for me on 1.20.30) so I guess the Java issues with it were also present on Bedrock? Also the trading experiment only affects librarians and Wandering Traders. The other professions won't be available until 1.20.40.
Love all the new updates and the bug fixes. But what about the bug about bone meal in the water? We still can't use bone meal in water for seagrass and fans from the coral. Did I miss it or has it not been done yet?
It got fixed
@@loris_099 thank you very much for letting me know 🙂
I’ve been playing MCPE with addons recently and after this update, pretty much every addon with an added weapon or a new mechanic stopped working. Is there something I could be doing wrong or did the update just make it so addons don’t work anymore?
there is a bug on realms where the playerssleepingpercentage isn't saving so you have to enter it every time you play
@silentwisperer Im so excited about this! I just got on minecraft and saw your video was in my notifications! I just set the one player sleep! Wasnt there a way to make it an instant sleep where you dont even lay in the bed? Also, so will there be swift sneak in ancient cities now? (Ive never been to one...too scared lol)
Swift Sneak has been in ancient cities since they were released :)
@@BeardoMax wait, on bedrock? I thought bedrock didn't have swift sneak and we got it with this update?
@@bowfessional Yeh we have had swift sneak on bedrock since ancient cities became a thing. I sell them in my shop in an SMP and been using them for a year now.
TBH I'd be happy with the tree farm even if I have to clear the leaves out manually between trees for now :)
Another huge bug fix in this release is the memory leak on servers
Does anyone else have a bug since updating where enchanted armour and tridents have messed up textures when it is being worn or equipped on an armour stand? (and enchanted bows are straight up invisible)
For Bugrock, I believe there is a movement glitch in creative where you use the elytra and if you try creative flying, it activates the elytra.
I don't know why they think changing villagers was a smart idea
Hi everyone I just wanted to say 1 emerald trades still do exist! I don't know if this will get parched however if you do the zombie spawner trick, and cure the villagers, u can still get them up to a certain extent!
Any plans on making a new villager based witch farm ? Would love to see your thoughts on the subject
Waiting for the parity update that fixes flying machines (including dupers), redstone and bedrock breaking
I really wish they make tnt drop 100% of the blocks it breaks, it just makes more sense
Makes more sense in relation to what? Real life?
@@BeardoMaxwhat are you talking ???
Im just saying that it should drop 100% of the blocks it breaks so it can be used in farms more often 😊
@@zhype2 I was just wondering what you meant by makes more sense? But so it can be used in farms is a decent reason.
There are also some changes to the elytra and povs
love your vids silent!
Thanks! 😊💙
The water noises are so loud.. So if anyone has villagers on water-logged slabs to prevent delinking from beds, and if the villagers are making a ton of water noise, change the slabs to water-logged chests. I'm curious if any water-logged block will work, like trapdoors.
I thought there was supposed to be a graphics engine update in this release. Render Dragon support was the only thing I was looking forward to.
Thats in the coming months
It has to be fully developed and where it doesn’t lag your game out, plus they still have to work on RTX support for new gen consoles and Pc
CONGRATS silent, you’re in a @gametheory video, using as a reference to armor trims!
They didn't just nerf new villagers, they retroactively nerfed existing villagers too. All trading halls on the realm I'm on have reverted back to only being cured only once😢
Not mine, I still have 1 trades but I'm scared to use them lmao
My villagers are really weird. Some still have the 1 emerald trades, but some don't. I'll need to test to see how they behave now.
It looks like, if your villager has a 1-emerald trade after the update, you can still trade with that villager and the discount will eventually reset to 1 emerald. I tested it with an armorer. However, some trades for me (ex.: paper and name tags for librarians, coal for armorers) seem to have been reset to the single-cure discount even though I cured the villager multiple times. I'm not sure what determines the trade value after the update. I wonder if the trade had to be 1 emerald just before the update, and if villagers that hadn't yet reset their trade value to 1 emerald (like if they were out of stock) are now locked in at the higher trade value.
Some trades like the iron will get 1 emerald after just one cure, you are probably just seeing those.
Did it reset villagers that were cured multiple times from a zombie?
Note that deepslate has been made harder, so it can't be blown up easily with TNT anymore. Very sad:(
Would you please do a video on how to maximize villager trade discounts as of the newest update. Please and thank you.
Can't wait for my long-term world file size to increase yet again, from all the biomes i have to explore now, just to acces the enchantments that make or break the games playability for single players
noice
This hurts found a random seed with a surface level zombie spawner near spawn. Dragged 2 villagers over and am breeding them up for trading hall/iron farm was trying to do a no conversion challenge with my daughter (6) luckily we got a few cheep tools and armour last night 😢
About the villager trade changes, idk if this was mentioned before but if I have a villager that already sells a mending book (that isn't a swamp villager) would it change to something else once the update comes out, or would it still keep the mending book trade?
Idk everyone thought discounts would be locked in but already cured villagers before the update have had their discounts heavily nerfed. And it's not optional or part of a toggle
It shouldn't change for existing villagers, villager trades are saved in their individual data, and villagers from before Village and Pillage also kept their existing trades
You now take damage when landing on powdered snow, with or without carpet on top. I'm pretty sure this is a bug and not parity.
im so happy they fixed that cure discount bug
IDK if it's a bug or intentional, but my survival world from the previous fix has villagers that trade thorns III. As far as I know, only thorns II should be able to trade.
all trades should be available i have them all including thorns 3
Not a bug
They took my trading doscounts and they couldn’t even give me the ability for the texture pack I use to be updated. I have all of the armor trims just sitting in storage because I don’t know what they look like!
Crawling and one player sleep are going to be so helpful tho, now I just need… everyone to come back from Starfield….
It the texture packs are custom then they’ll have to be manually updated by the developer and redownload lmao
I already did the 1x1 mining by using water. You go much faster too
OMG yes, I can finally instant break scaffolding
The zombie villager curing change is nightmare fuel for me 😭
How do we get cheap librarian trades now? Like 1 emerald trades etc. have they been removed completely or is there a way to still get them?
when you do the one person sleep command on a realm and leave the game you have to type the command in again. that needs to be fixed its annoying on xbox to type that.
Hey Silent! Could you make a mooshroom cow farm? Just finished converting my mooshroom island into grass blocks and I would love to finally have an easy supply of cooked beef! Right now I have to load all of my raw fish from the guardian farm into shulker boxes, move it to my super smelter, wait for it to cook, refuel it, and then finally eat my food. I would much rather have a nice easy mooshroom farm that automatically cooks and applies looting to them!
I would design my own but I know that if I do, you will release a video on one five minutes after I have finished building it!
LOL yes he will 😂
But for real tho, cows (any type) cant be automated. Just throw your mooshrooms in a generic cow farm
@@FrotLopOfficial Mooshrooms can be! All of their natural spawn spots have been replaced with grass, so they will spawn more frequently on mycelium in one concentrated area. However, I just don't know if there are specific spawn spots, or if they will spawn anywhere. I also don't know if they need to have sky access or not to increase efficiency.
My plan was to have a grid where mooshrooms spawn on mycelium and are pushed off into a water stream. They would then fall into a lava source block and catch on fire, and be finished off by a trident killer to give the looting III effect. I don't see why this wouldn't work.
@@quinnjackson9252 Oh shoot you're right!! JCPlayz has a mooshroom farm. I am totally doing this haha
I wonder if those experimental features get added, if your already established villagers, they will have their trades changed.
Can we just get a working offhand slot so I can mine without having to incessantly switch to my other slot and place torches
And a fun bug for me on PE.... placing one block places two blocks... real fun
I’m literally building the villager part of my stacking raid farm today. Not happy
Does anyone know how substantial the Diamond change is? Did the rates double? 50% increase?
Haven't played bedrock edition for a while and I'd like to know if TNT is still just a griefing item on bedrock or does it drop 100% of blocks it blows up like on Java?
I worked... so hard... making my villager hall before these changes came... all of them were one emerald... All my work, gone :(
@@bobertbopala Too true, and for that I am grateful. Though at least I'd have backups.
And building down should be much easier with the trapdoor method and lava method of Java! I've tried the trapdoor method, and will try the lava method later.
Did they remove the bug where tridents will fall through solid blocks or just disappear it’s really annoying I have to get like 3 new impelling 5 tridents every time I try to use my gold farm
So I set my realm to one player sleep the day this video came out & I’ve had to re enter it multiple times as it’s just auto reset. Now it’s telling me cheating isn’t enabled or syntax error unexpected
Pillager in cherry biome sounds like spines in rose
Anybody else notice that when you break Sculk blocks with a Silk Touch hoe, that XP orbs also drop now along with the block itself?
thats supposed to be fixed in beta i think
As of a week or 2 ago you can only cure a particular zombie villager once for a discount.
"Because you really have to intend on rage quitting" HAHA! I'm still LMAO about this!!
My water is so loud now! And you can’t press and hold to get a whole stack from the crafting table on mobile edition. So frustrating!
The villager trading discounts, is it on experimental or on the official release.
It's in the game right now it is not experimental anymore.
Experimental
the librarian/armorer trading changes are the only thing in exp mode. everything else is here today in the regular update.
@@RK-ck6plhe literally has said multiple times it is experimental….
@@williamprimozich2970 And I am literally telling you that I went to 2 of my trading halls today and all of their trades have been messed up. even the librarians.. All of my books used to cost one Emerald now they cost a s*** ton.
I can't find my world saves on any mobile device, all of the instructions I can find online are all wrong because my devices are refusing to show me where my world saves are and I'm trying to export some worlds
side question for ya, would instead of adding a lava source to an iron farm to kill the iron golems would putting a trident killer at the bottom of it,(while maybe having a portal based iron farm)double the rates?
no it barely speeds up the rates at all unfortunately
Iron golems aren't affected by looting. Well, maybe the flowers. Not the iron though.
Got on and was surprised to see my already made village trading hub unchanged. I suppose this must apply to just new villagers right? Hmmm 🤔??!…….
….so once a villagers trades have been locked in, then it may not matter what biome their in after that. So we can all still have a nice village trading hub, just have to do some more ground work and producing villagers in all the different types of biomes we want, then transporting them back to base after we’ve locked in those trades.
I'm having issues with mob's acting like they have the slow falling affect when you hit them and just move slowly in general.
I play on PlayStation 5 by the way.
The biggest parity change for bedrock is the banners map markers
I actually love these changes they're finally in bedrock dayum
they still need to fix the skeleton bow shoot sound. they dont play the sound when they shoot there bow still
But you can still move al the biome villages to one huge tradinghall in wethever biome? So you have 1 multiculturale village.
I wanna know when we're going to get sweeping edge
Do you have to update your game? Or can you continue to play where you can use 1 emerald trades.
you dot *have* to update
Does only for my new update broke minecrafr? My world for No reason runs on 0 ticks ,i can move but all world is freezed
Are already existed villagers with 1 emerald discounts stay the same?
This is the most exciting update!

I prefer version 1.20.15 because this version only has a few bugs that don't affect the game, in version 1.20.30 there are too many bugs that I found😢
I will wait for the next version and hope there are no bugs in the village
So true, game plays like I'm running a Bitcoin miner in the background 😢

So far it looks like Minecraft might have nerfed the diamonds. Based on 4 test mines, we also tested different levels starting at -59. In all 4 mines, only ~10% were found between -56 and -59. There were enormous stretches with no diamonds.
On my pc Bedrock edition is not updating. It is stuck in 1.20.15, has it been released for pc?
