I recently discovered this channel, and I’m binging, HARD! Let’s Read, and Raven Reads are my favorites. Both of these channels need far more recognition.
I recently found these readings and I don't know how I have lived without them?!?!?! I have the worst time trying to fall asleep at night and her voice soothes my soul to be able to rest! Better then any meds I've ever been on!! Also love listening while I'm in my car!! Thank you!!

1:27:05 im from Wisconsin and not far from where i live is the kettle moraine. That's where the most sightings of the dogman or beast of bray road are seen. It's wild once me and my cousin saw a weird wolf like animal hunched over a deer carcass in 2008 here in southwest Wisconsin.

Love these stories, they turn me into a detective... 7 minutes before I fall asleep! Very soothing voice and I can tell the time and effort went to this
Raven’s the ONLY female I’ve come across that has a soothing flowing voice that I listen to at night no matter how scary the subject because, in combo with the sound effects , I go into a soothing sleep and with these long compilations , I wake up hearing her as well!!!! She does need lots more kudos for doing this!!!!

I really like how you've grown in the way you narrate the stories. It really grinds me when storytellers try to put too much emotion/inflections in the storytelling. I like the straightforward approach. So, I'm really liking what I'm hearing from you, but the soft pretty piano music in the background kills it for me. Just like in a movie, the music/sounds completely set the mood for the story. When a creepy story is being told, I feel like it should have a simple low droning or "scary" music/sounds. But, that's just my opinion. I really enjoy what you do, and hope you keep doing it for a long time!
You just shouldn't hear background music, imo. just needs to blend in... and the louder noises breaking between stories :( I just can't ..every time* I get so comfy the LOUDER transitions just ruin it! Have heard them in a little while? I hope she has decided against them....?!
There are very few narrators who can put emotion in a story and keep it subtle, I enjoy the flat/monotone readings because it sets the mood as unsettling.

Oregon logging roads part is true true so true !!! Im from oregon, and grew up in the mountains, playing in the snow, dirt bike, quads, molalla oregon, just 10 minutes from a huge part of our forested area, foothills, mountains have hundreds of miles of logging roads, used some, some not used for 20 years and more,, creepy !!! We used to come accros areas of devil worshiping weirdos up there, lots of dangerous shit up there
She is truly all I have left some days...those dark depressed days...I find one of Raven's stories with music box and the raven sounds playing in the background, preferably this one....and I listen until I doze and just leave this world for a while.
You have had some great stories on here. That weird noise you been doing when a story is done and starting a new story that sounds like ghosts wispering scares the crap out of me sometimes
I can identify with the Midwest story. I was 17 had the Flu so I was home from school. The doctor came and injeced me with something for pain. I was falling into a deep sleep and thought I heard lots of foot steps, the Doc had been gone. When I woke, my closet had lots of shelves. Also some one had painted all my shoes, so they looked new. My neighbor said that it looked like 15 tiny midgets with long hair and each one carrying Easy Bake Ovens went into our house!

Funny thing, in the second story, when the author mentioned the "hot garbage" smell (I know exactly what they are talking about. I'm a closing courtesy clerk for Albertsons and dealing with trash is a part of my routine) I started to faintly smell it. I still smell it. But it's faint, so probably just my mind playing tricks.
I remember seeing something weird and wonderful when I was 10 or 11 years old and on a school trip to a wild life preserve in the south east of England. Mallydams, malydamns??? Farm, I assume it's still there. I will look in a minute. So we did some school trip things, walked around and marked down what animals we saw, butterflies and insects, we put buckets in a stream and catalogued the animals we caught, I remember being super excited to catch a small lizard or frog, whilst everyone else only got waterboatmen and other bugs. So we are walking back to have lunch and I saw a small creature by a stream, it looked sort of like a otter or a cat. Four legs, tail, quite long for a cat, but not so big that it's not impossible to be one. So this is nothing special I guess, but what really stood out was it's colour... It was blue, a bright blue tint all over it's head down to its back. I pointed it out to the other kids, but it got spooked and ran away. So 17 years later and I am listening to you read off cryptids, and I swear to you I can't say wether I saw something amazing, or a poor animal covered in blue paint that really needed help. Ock well, keep up the fantastic work on the cryptid stories!

It's pretty creepy and super interesting. I know it sounds like I'm a walking advertisement but I'm literally hooked on it and judging by the creepy videos and stuff it just seems like something that would be right up your alley 🦇

The second story had me wondering if you need a license to hunt Avid? I just don't know anything about Avid or Avid hunting? They seemed to do it alot though. LOL Sorry, it had to be done.

So I usually choose to listen to male narrators because their voices take up a frequency range that soothes me, but this is amazing, thank you.
