Considering how much trash is washed into the sea each rainy season in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia it is no wonder that there's a lot of trash in the sea. There's a lot more trash seen on the beach in this video than there was in early 80s. Well in the early 80s the labels showed the trash was from Australia - maybe they'll come and collect it.
It is depressing to see what humans can make of a paradise. But it is also devastating, how films are made ... I know ... they are not filmmakers, they are volunteers. They show good will and spend their time in a paradise full of trash. And at the end of this "film" they inserted this text: The Composition of trash was recorded to enable better solutions for reprocessing waste. Forgive me: 1. nobody noticed that the word Composition actually refers to music 2. To make compost from trash is a totally different matter and the word for it is Compostition. The trash really bothers me. I live today in America. People there are doing the same to their own beaches, cities, and forests. For me as a lifelong teacher I suggest two radical solutions: Take care of trash before it becomes a problem and let people who trash a paradise like Aldabra feel like trash. This world could be a paradise - the only one I know. God does not care for that, we have to.
