This is how Cross is going to get to 1 million subs. I like when he reviews other games outside of Destiny. I stopped playing D2, but I stick around because he's interesting
Gamers by and large treat early access like a full release. If it isn't a finished game they say its shit. Even though there is a massive warning on the steam purchase page saying this game isn't finished and you shouldn't treat it as unfinished. TLDR: the gaming community sucks.
Pro tips: Use a silencer, use spawns that have the not timed extraction option, easy quests like recon and momento pt1 respawn very often, hunter killer = gtfo
23:17 If you look up at the ridge you can see the flashlights of the incoming Euruskans and question marks floating over them that indicate they noticed you. My boy had plenty of time to turn around and find a new hiding spot instead of leaving his ass out in the open.
Personally, this is the most fun I've had with a game in years. The game is NOT FINISHED! What is there already is so, so good. Just go in with an open mind and don't focus on every tiny flaw. This is super Early Access and it's already so much fun. After a few hours, you really get more comfortable, and yet still have plenty of clench moments. I recommend trying most of the levels solo to actually soak them in, then play multiplayer to change the power dynamic. Enjoy, scavs!
P.S. Your play through was very entertaining and yes you can definitely become much stronger. You will never be more badass than the huge mechs or helicopters, but there will be ways to take them down.
The game really makes you feel like a hobo on a battlefield. On open maps, you really want to avoid engaging anyone. Even if they start shooting you, just run away. If you shoot back, you pretty much guarantee your death certificate because they will hunt you down. If you just run, then they will just leave you alone. On more narrow maps like the trenches its alot safer to engage in firefights, so go there if you want to shoot people. Even then, it's still best to avoid people.
@@zeeksy6276 It's really not😂. The atmosphere and intensity of the ai fighting their own war really have you edge all the time. Like a said, if you want to do some killing, then there are maps you can run to do that. I'm at the point I'm just running through everything, gunning down 70% of it, and just b lining for higher loot spawns and quest. But having alot of farm money and vendors unlocked helps with presets, and the presets just auto buying missing parts from vendors if you don't have it already in your stash helps streamline the runs. its fun but once u get the hang of it its pretty ez my innerds have 99 days of water and im sitting on 20 extra barrels with every upgrade purchased i hope more gets added to innards since i spent 1 mil on weapon/ammo crafting and all i can do is make ammo
they should add a map where you can build fortifications for the innards and when you get mechas and other big objectives destroyed or commanders they raid the Innards, so, we can make use of money on something, not just keeping up credits into the bank.
I started watching and had to close my eyes every time he fired, this is worse than any muzzle flash in destiny. This is a guaranteed way to induce seizures
Played 6 hours last night and my buddy and I have good enough gear that we can take down mechs, tanks and most squads we come across. Tier 3 turns the game up quite a bit. Ive got 30 days of water just grinding scorched and all my factions are Teir 3. Im just hoping they add more content!
This isnt an extraction shooter. Its an extraction survival horror game where you happen to have a gun. Dont get me wrong, the concept is interesting, the game is obviously very immersive looking, the enemies are unsettling, and they really nailed that "you're insignificant in this war torn world" feel. But at the end of the day, it just feels like theres a far more interesting world that you have to keep hiding and running away from. Its like being stuck at lvl 1 in a world of max level sweat lords. I find myself constantly going "wow thats a really cool battle going on! Welp, back to rifling through trash." As fun as the loot goblin game loop is, it usually leads to something like having an awesome self sustaining base or upgrading yourself into a badass. But this just feels like your main objective is just getting by like the scavenger you are. The moment you try to deviate away from that formula, the game punishes you for it. Maybe some people will enjoy doing just that but its just not meaningful enough gameplay for me to want to invest more than a few hours into it.
This game really is not very hard at all. I almost never die because I play the game the way it was intended to be played. That doesnt mean that I crawl around on all fours to avoid being spotted. Quite the opposite actually, most of the time im sprinting but I literally just use common fucking sense and act like I'm just any other soldier. Not the main character.

Homeboy changed his keybinds but forget about it in the heat of the moment, spamming E when probably changed the key to F like i did Sadly, as it stands, the text prompt at extract/interactables does not update to reflect your edited keybinds Also, honestly? After having finished the video.. I don't really think this game is for our guy here. - Dying _that many times_ at timed extracts and even still not understanding that triggering a timed extract spawns in enemies who actively _look_ for you, that _spawn at the extraction point_ like... There's just a certain amount of situational awareness, of adaptability that a game like this needs, and i don't think Aztecross here has that. That said though, the devs have acknowledged the timed extract spawns specifically, and spawns across the board globally need a *shit-ton* of work and will be improved upon. So maybe it's not entirely on him for not putting 2 & 2 together that all 3 or 4 times he hit E on that timer, within 10 or 15 seconds suddenly a full squad of enemies would appear behind him while he hunkers down with his back to the map border... but idk.
This game is so dog shit. most of this game is forced, completely, unnecessarily overcomplicated and the mechanics are also idiotically difficult, it has nothing to do with skills. Optimization sucks, controls and shooting are more stiff and pathetic than Gothic's gameplay

This game has some potential, the concept, world and maps are pretty cool but the aim down sights and movement are so janky it feels like this game is very early development and shouldn't be in EA yet. The AI is so dumb until they see you then they don't miss unless your in full sprint and even then they barely miss. The AI will also show up behind you almost every time you stop to loot with no warning no sound effects of footsteps or anything. I mean going from really any other extraction shooter to this feels like a massive down grade. Currently not worth $10 in its current state. I hope that changes as I like the concept but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone yet. Needs a lot more time in the oven. Gotta love EA, players paying devs to QA and test their game. No wonder no one can get a job in QA any more when players actively pay to QA. Also can't refund the game through steam so GG if you buy it because of the hyped up vids on YT and don't like it.
I'm pretty addicted to this game, even though it's nowhere near ready for release! Seriously, I have to turn the settings down to 'blurry' to get a good framerate on my new computer. Now that I've gotten as much experience as I have, I think they need to do something to keep you from just repeating the same route until you've mastered it, instead of exploring and running into new and unexpected situations. I got pretty good at avoiding combat in my first night playing, but just hitting the same set of bunkers and beelining for extraction is a very effective strat, but it could get boring. If they want to make it more punishing, maybe randomize which extractions are active each raid. They also need to have the game tell us more of the game mechanics. If I wasn't super into it and looking at guides all the time, I'd have no idea there are stealth kills or sliding.
In scorched enclave, go cemetary. Go right and dodge the drones if they're there, along with the cyborgs. There is a little cliff ridge area you can get to off of cemetary spawn that most enemies can't get to without having to deviate their path finding to send them on a journey. You can access it to the right of the spawn through the gaps in the rebar from the destroyed building. From there, you get a good vantage point where there is a tower and 2 fort walls. Go towards the tower and avoid any enemies or turrets spotting you. There aren't usually that many in this route. You will find water and a medical crate in the tower in most runs along with lock boxes below going toward the center behind the wall. Beware of drones, or shoot them for the extra reward. But make sure to bring a silenced weapon and, if possible, something other than a surplus rifle. The damage sucks. Even a normal ak is better. From there, go toward the ramparts to the right of the tower that overlook the center. If enemies spawn to the right of the ramparts or are approaching from the opposite direction, simply wait for them to leave, or if there are very few, take them out. From there, cross the ramparts and loot what you can, usually some lock boxes, mod crates, and ammo crates there, and then book it past the destroyed mech and get to extract. If enemies are fighting at extract, sneak around the extract pipe and get in from behind the enemies. As long as you are running and dont hit any terrain, they won't care about you, and you will be home free!
Cool game concept and etc. But lets be real here. Thats another game who will sit for another 1-2 years in early access and gonna stay barely alive for that whole time. Pretty much gonna be another Marauders situation.
The world they've built is amazing, it's oozing with atmosphere! But the gameplay itself, gunplay, water related mechanics, etc... do not looks so appealing. I'll let it cook in early access for couple months and see what comes out.
Any game where you can lose 100% of your progress in general sucks, but this one has a real life timer tied to all of your progress. The game looks interesting but there is not way in hell I’d ever waste time on it with mechanics like that.

I remember in the gameplay/launch trailer they said when you progress and get rarer items you will have to take on the big mechs or boss type enemies and stuff with a team.
I like how there are also enemy players in this. But that would be a pretty good idea for a gambit sub-game. As of currently, Gambit is just one gamemode. Crucible has so many different gamemodes and vanguard playlists have since added battlegrounds into the mix. But imagine finding yourself in an area collecting certain resources in an open world area surrounded by enemy players. Hell, just call it Fortnite but with objections. That would honestly sell it for me. Dunno about y'all but it might be worth a shot if Bungie could pull it off

If you thought a T-1000 was bad by itself seeing something similar with black camo/skin is 100% nightmare fuel! Well, done developer(s).
I don’t see you surviving much in this game. You can’t help but shoot ppl! Lol
Dude, this game needs a ton of work, if you're gonna have a game in 3rd person it's gotta have crispy animations, this shit looks jank
Should check out Witchfire cross people say gameplay feels like Destiny
Ive stopped playing destiny a while ago but as i like your content seeing you diversify makes me happy.
Psst you yea you there artz I just came out from my conveniently warframe shaped rock to say there’s a update soon and for you to start playing it ok I’ll slip back under my rock now 🪨
HellDivers 2 is better May as well just play the Mech side and call it a day, this game looks like it came out in 2012
I feel like vault doors are noob bait. The loot isnt particularly crazy, and enemies hear when the door opens, then investigate it.
dunno how you guys are playing this, I played 4 raids and got pushed through walls by enemies twice, literally unplayable
I remember in the gameplay/launch trailer they said when you progress and get rarer items you will have to take on the big mechs or boss type enemies and stuff with a team.
I love how how he keeps missing obvious shit on screen that would be helpfull or the small army that he turned his back to.
im pretty sure the problem was a bug caused by him being on the extraction when it changed to being able to extract.
This does not look fun at all. If marathon is anything like this I’m not playing that shit lol
I get a terminator salvation vibe. If an open world shooter destiny based, was set in this theme. I personally would love it.
Exactly 30 minutes long? Which editor has OCD 😂
The one game where unbinding mouse 1 might actually be a good idea.
Cross about to have people getting seizures with all that flashing
Martinez Betty White Jason Johnson Christopher
I like how there are also enemy players in this. But that would be a pretty good idea for a gambit sub-game. As of currently, Gambit is just one gamemode. Crucible has so many different gamemodes and vanguard playlists have since added battlegrounds into the mix. But imagine finding yourself in an area collecting certain resources in an open world area surrounded by enemy players. Hell, just call it Fortnite but with objections. That would honestly sell it for me. Dunno about y'all but it might be worth a shot if Bungie could pull it off
Love aztecross but the editor is the real champ here.
Should play some more Hunt Showdown, that was good series
Personally I'm very excited to play it
How much are they paying you to promote this?
It’s an interesting game but it doesn’t appeal to my interest and the industry is in a horrible state
Thanks for playing this load of….. game some we don’t have to. 😬
