I really wanted to save everyone and tried my best to think strategically… sorry if anyone felt like these decisions of mine were in contrast to theirs. i choose to save the saurians first because i’m still deeply affected by my previous dog’s passing 2 years ago. time has slowly healed me but i’m still guilty over things i could’ve done better. and when the decision was in my hands, i thought of him again and went to save these dear saurian companions first. i really want everyone to survive and i’m glad the Ode of Resurrection worked on some towards the end. albeit there were some others that were not resurrected. their memories, legacies and heroism will remain close to our hearts, and etched onto Natlan history forever my feelings of dire and gradual hopelessness when the abyss just kept coming (almost leaving me miserable and numb) also came with an eternal fire of fight from the Natlanese never giving up - always believing in their Pyro Archon… this is cruel truth of war, but this also shows the love that everyone has for Natlan, to protect it with their life. I think this Act 4 is the best Act among all archon quest in my opinion…

Im scared of how Paimon will react to being left behind seeing as how she has separation anxiety ever since the Sumeru archon quest, like in the Liyue event where Traveler went out for only 5 minutes and she was a mess
Paimon has separation anxiety and it’s understandable - considering how Paimon had been with Traveler almost every moment… I just hope Paimon will be fine in Act 5 when we do get separated
I don't know why but i have a feeling that in a crucial moment where the traveler will be in big danger, Paimon will try to save them and unleash some crazy power.

Some more context about the Shades: When the Primordial One descended upon Teyvat they created 4 Shining Shades of itself to defeat the elemental sovereigns of the old world. The 4 shades being: 1. The Shade of Death- Ronova 2. The Shade of Time- Istaroth aka the God of Time and Moments who used to be worshiped in Mond along with Venti 3. The Shade of Life- she was most likely the one who helped the Primordial One create life on Teyvat. She also was the one who created Egeria the first Hydro Archon to replace the old heart of the primordial sea (the old being the first hydro dragon sovereign). 4. The Shade of Void (most commonly theorised to be the Unknown God/ Sustainer of Heavenly Principles) There’s still so much more to unpack with the Shades but I’m so happy that they’re finally being mentioned in the main voiced quests being as the Shades are only mentioned in books and written lore !!

Edit: now that we know of the Shade of Death and Time having actual official names, the theory of the artifact sets representing The Shades and The Primordial One is most likely accurate

Paimon genuinely improved as a character; From yappening to actually speaking what most of us would probably ask and having actual empathy compared to, for example, Furina's story quest. So proud of her! Also to answer you saying we're sadists for wanting to replay your reactions to deaths, death flags etc. ; Tbf Hoyo themselves molded us to be this way, the amount of views certain streamers get when they reach chapter 09 of hi3 gets insane lmao.
She was a bit too over the top in the Story Quest I agree, but I look at it a bit different ever since I read other thoughts about it. The reason Paimon didn't treat her like everyone else, like basically an retired hero, being careful what you say and how you act around her. While the approach is a bit.. arguable to say the least, I like the idea that most Paimon did was to actually treat Furina how you would a normal friend. Every other person in her life still treated her as either the great actor Lady Furina, or the, even if retired, Hydro Archon. Throughout the quest we get to see many peoples reactions to Furina, and while not exactly completely negative, they also didn't treat her like you would treat a normal person. This could just be bias based on trying to talk good how Paimon acted during the SQ, but at least since considering that view I don't see her actions as totally mean only anymore. Rather she was the only person actually trying to treat Furina how you would treat a normal person, regardless of what happened before, instead of acting like she still is something totally special. And that also includes complaining where complaining is due. It was still a bit much, but especially considering how the others treated Furina in the SQ, like forcing her onto the stage when she didn't want to and exposing her as a role to the audience which she didn't agree on, Paimon by far isn't the person that treated Furina the worst imo

why i enjoy watching reactions, even sad ones: i'd consider it more of a camaraderie of sorts. me personally i wouldn't call it 'fun' to watch people be sad but it's comforting knowing other people are feeling the same way you did (hence why 'welcome to honkai impact 3rd, captain' is such a common sentiment when watching people play ch 9). it also means something you really enjoy is affecting other people emotionally, and even when it's a sad story, it's still a testament to the strength of the narrative and characters.
same here! part of how i process the story is watching others play it (after i'm done) and when someone feels the same way as i did, i feel very comforted too!
If you explore the area East side of the Ancestral Temple in Natlan, you can see in the map that there was a big crater there if you go there and see what's in the crater it has a mysterious rock in the center that looks like a asteroid, it's still not confirmed yet but the only logical answer to what it actually was just based on what just revealed to us so far is it's a fragment of that broken moon that fell in Teyvat.

Please do remember that what Aether/Lumine's gift from the Lord of the Night is for the creation of the Ancient Name. Helping Mavuika would be another record for the Traveler in the Night Kingdom. Traveler's creation of Ancient Name will be "Mwongozo" or "Guide". While Mavuika's ancient name is "Kiongozi" is "leader. Once Aether/Lumine got the blessing of the Archon's, and have it recorded -- This can be used to create an Ode of resurrection for the warriors: Mavuika and Capitano. Having them alive would let them free from the gaze of Celestia while death of Capitano will free her from the Tsaritsa, and his revival will get him back to his current time "removal of curse of immortality". This upcoming battle will be another death story.
catching up with your VODs after finishing the quests myself a few days ago but yeah the war parts were stressful. it made me even sadder seeing others' playthrough and seeing the routes they took that i didn't that saved more people. but well that's how they wanted us to feel during those parts, the helplessness of wanting to help everyone but having to choose who to go to first and hoping you can make it in time to the others. i had to take several breaks doing the war parts and the point i had to pause and get up from my chair to take a moment was when we were on the balloon and slow panning past the devastated Scions of the Canopy as the quest marker moved to another location. it was too much going on before that and i needed to take a minute before continuing. they sure did make me feel the despair throughout the act :C
Idk man I'd say if people hate the HI3 connections and references then this channel isn't for you. I watch this channel mostly for the emotional and spiritual connections to HI3 (and zKodla crying but that's another thing)
I'm not gonna lie. I was rushing to complete this story because i was doing the quest to like 1am+ lol and i have work at 9am. Honestly was praying that i could obtain the pyro traveler in 5.1 but AHHHHH have to wait to 5.3 :')

I love how Ancient Name Barers are like Pseudo-Servants (Pseudo-Heroic Spirits) from Fate (Type-Moon). The fusion of Souls (with their Fates) of Heroes in History and Heroes of Today. They even have Sugiyama (who also voices Emiya Shirou) for Kinich.
I lost everyone except a baby Saurian cause I took too much time. I was torn when the only survivor was a baby Saurian hiding on the top of the tower when everyone died

that's totally fine! your playthrough is yours, and your experience makes you who you are! everyone experiences things differently, that's why it's amazing to see how everyone experienced the story! though, i think many were stressed and depressed, especially when things got dire
I felt adrenalin or dread for the unknown and post-traumatic sadnass with guilt in the process of Abyss Night War (while being excited about the Lore taking the spoitlight). Natlan team captured the part of hopelessness of war quite well i feel. And its only just part of it. You can't save 'everyone'. If i remember correcrtly cus of simple mistake i too didnt save Mother and Daughter (still guilty about it), tho hopefully i did my best to save those who can be saved. Im glad that Hoyo chose to do a it in this way, its very immersive, personal and works miles for the narrative. More choices Genshin, more choices. The Impact of Original God (that will be Awaken) will be related to Wishes and with Wishes come Choices, so.. More of it, yeah.
Sadly kodla miss the chasca contact at the last part, most of the ppl in the chat just keep say check the map then contact chasca 😂 because not all are autoplay haha.

there's also an option to contact Mavuika that can be missed. there's a sun icon on the stadium on the map after the part with Mavuika powering up (the icon kinda blends into the colors of the stadium though so i can understand how it can be missed by some). it was a brief dialogue where Paimon tells her we just contacted her to hear her voice
I have a dreadful feeling that come endgame, these decision making plots will come back. Except next time, we, for example, might have to choose between saving one nation and not another (think choosing Mondstadt over Sumeru, for example). Scary times ahead 😢
The part where the hot air balloon decided "nah this place is gone" and just auto adjust to next area that requires help is foul ☠️ Didn't even give us a chance to hop off and clear off the lingering monsters If you revisit some places, you will notice some of the named NPCs that we could interact with back in Archon quest 1+2 are just...gone
@@Kodla this is more referring to the specific part where they force you to sit on the hot air balloon and witness the carnage going on instead of the instant teleportation You can see your original destination "Scions of Canopy", but when the hot air balloon starts to approach there there's not a single sign of life there, so the hot air balloon just decides to maneuver away w/o giving us the chance to drop off there at all as we continue that slow ride towards the new destination where Toto and the few survivors were

@@Enigma427 For the first point: many asume that Celestia Is parte of the heavenly principles, given that they have a very influential role in the current system of Teyvat. For the second one, the abyss and the abyss order are different. We knew before but in the previous quest, the pyro lector confirmed it.
1. Celestia is the floating island in the sky, while Heavenly Principles is the highest entity of Teyvat. They're most likely on the same side, many hints but no confirmation. 2. The Abyss is the "forbidden power from beyond" thing, while Abyss Order is the organization created by our sibling. They could be on the same side, but no hint nor confirmation.
Maybe it has something to do with Khaenri’ah Kingdom being in the another mirror world "under" Teyvat and Mavuika causing System Error in the Simulated Sky, hm who knows

my mind decided to make me feel more sad when I saw this scene on my playthrough because I remembered Mavuika is also an older sister and i couldn't imagine what else she could've been thinking seeing Chasca in pain with Chuychu in her arms. it made me think back to act 2 when she was thinking about people in her life that passed and her little sister telling her not to forget her :C
Actually, the worst part is Mavuika knew she could've done better, or at least try to. But she trusted Wayob and respected their decisions. And so did Chasca.
At this point it's either they're all actually dead, or they're busy fighting something else. There's no way they're this chill after a Divine Throne gets destroyed and the firmament was broken.
@@maertenerwin1119 the heavenly principles are still asleep. 1000s of years ago after they defeated the dragons and fought the second who came, it took a huge toll on them and needed rest to recuperate, then the khaenri’ah cataclysm happened and they had to get up and act. After it was resolved they’ve gotten back to resting and haven’t been active since the cataclysm. I have a feeling that something huge will eventually happen that’ll wake em up. Possibly a cataclysm 2.0 🤔

The fact there multiple choice during these quest along with the consequences is quite impressive.
They gave us a taste of what war is like. I feel sorry for the dead residents of Natlan and the Capitan’s team...

catching up with your VODs after finishing the quests myself a few days ago but yeah the war parts were stressful. it made me even sadder seeing others' playthrough and seeing the routes they took that i didn't that saved more people. but well that's how they wanted us to feel during those parts, the helplessness of wanting to help everyone but having to choose who to go to first and hoping you can make it in time to the others.
i had to take several breaks doing the war parts and the point i had to pause and get up from my chair to take a moment was when we were on the balloon and slow panning past the devastated Scions of the Canopy as the quest marker moved to another location. it was too much going on before that and i needed to take a minute before continuing. they sure did make me feel the despair throughout the act :C

I felt adrenalin or dread for the unknown and post-traumatic sadnass with guilt in the process of Abyss Night War (while being excited about the Lore taking the spoitlight). Natlan team captured the part of hopelessness of war quite well i feel. And its only just part of it. You can't save 'everyone'. If i remember correcrtly cus of simple mistake i too didnt save Mother and Daughter (still guilty about it), tho hopefully i did my best to save those who can be saved. Im glad that Hoyo chose to do a it in this way, its very immersive, personal and works miles for the narrative. More choices Genshin, more choices. The Impact of Original God (that will be Awaken) will be related to Wishes and with Wishes come Choices, so.. More of it, yeah.

there's also an option to contact Mavuika that can be missed. there's a sun icon on the stadium on the map after the part with Mavuika powering up (the icon kinda blends into the colors of the stadium though so i can understand how it can be missed by some). it was a brief dialogue where Paimon tells her we just contacted her to hear her voice

You can see your original destination "Scions of Canopy", but when the hot air balloon starts to approach there there's not a single sign of life there, so the hot air balloon just decides to maneuver away w/o giving us the chance to drop off there at all as we continue that slow ride towards the new destination where Toto and the few survivors were

@@Enigma427 For the first point: many asume that Celestia Is parte of the heavenly principles, given that they have a very influential role in the current system of Teyvat.
For the second one, the abyss and the abyss order are different. We knew before but in the previous quest, the pyro lector confirmed it.

1. Celestia is the floating island in the sky, while Heavenly Principles is the highest entity of Teyvat. They're most likely on the same side, many hints but no confirmation.
2. The Abyss is the "forbidden power from beyond" thing, while Abyss Order is the organization created by our sibling. They could be on the same side, but no hint nor confirmation.

The worst part is......Mavuika knew about chuychu.....but she need it to happen.....
my mind decided to make me feel more sad when I saw this scene on my playthrough because I remembered Mavuika is also an older sister and i couldn't imagine what else she could've been thinking seeing Chasca in pain with Chuychu in her arms. it made me think back to act 2 when she was thinking about people in her life that passed and her little sister telling her not to forget her :C
Actually, the worst part is Mavuika knew she could've done better, or at least try to. But she trusted Wayob and respected their decisions. And so did Chasca.

@@maertenerwin1119 the heavenly principles are still asleep. 1000s of years ago after they defeated the dragons and fought the second who came, it took a huge toll on them and needed rest to recuperate, then the khaenri’ah cataclysm happened and they had to get up and act. After it was resolved they’ve gotten back to resting and haven’t been active since the cataclysm. I have a feeling that something huge will eventually happen that’ll wake em up. Possibly a cataclysm 2.0 🤔
