The XL is wider at 20 inches while the The LCT is 17 inches wide. The XL is 19 in tall while the LCT is 21 in tall. Veto also makes the LCT in a shorter height but same width as the LCT. Internal valume for the XL is 2500in3 while the LCT is 2375in3. So technically the XL is bigger but the LCT fits longer tools. All this info is on there website un specs. It all depends on what you need.
